Matt goes so high in helter skelter, continues to hit high even with age, I can't imagine how his voice sounds like now after a year break, especially considering they've been touring for like 20 years basically all the time, he will be so powerful on his return, especially live, can't wait

I just discover them thanks to Matt ( muse became this year in favorite band, I knew them before but this year I am obsessed and not ashamed xD). Fantastic lineup, fun, and sexy. I do not know which way to look, how incredible to see this live, massive respect for all these amazing musicians ... by the way how on earth matt is so talented, piano, guitar, and now bass.
To be fair, bass and guitar are really similar. Some different techniques but really not different.

@@kazire4591I play violin and bass and yes, they are actually similar. On violin the E string is the highest. On bass, the E is the lowest. They both have 4 strings (mainly), but you can turn the violin into an electric violin and even use pedals.
With bass, you can also go acoustic with or without pedals. The only difference is the bass has frets unlike the violin. Violin is played under the chin, but bass is played like a guitar unless you're thinking of a double bass which is standing up.
Plucking a guitar you can also do if you're playing a classical guitar which I did my entire senior project on. Other than that, the last difference is violin music is treble cleft and bass is bass clef.
So, no. It's not a stupid comment, it's just assumptions and lack of information....
Oh! Chords on a violin is called a double stop. It's basically playing 2 strings at the same time. And, you can also use a mute to soften the violin sound. On guitar, you use a capo to change the sound. And, if you get around to it, you can use a bow on a guitar if you don't have an ebow. On violin, your fingers make the sound pizzacato.
Chords on bass happen here and there. The Exploding Boy from The Cure and Schism by Tool are great examples.

Matt Bellamy plays multiple instruments, keyboards, synths, guitar, bass, some drums. He writes a fair share of Muse’s bass lines on guitar.
Awesome to watch this espcially as for most people (inc me) its as close to a live gig as you can get at the mo and what a show top effort wth the filming, love The Jaded Hearts Club.

I wish they'd put some Beatles songs on the LP, but I see why they didn't. There's no use in trying to recreate perfection.
HOWEVER, they could've tried out some McCartney/Lennon/Harrison solo stuff. The bar is not set as high there.
Same I wish they included any of the songs the played in this gig. Even though the Beatles are perfection, I still think it would have been interesting to listen to studio versions in the same style as Money where they definitely gave a kick to the song. It would be much appreciated if you could subscribe to my channel!
