Seen Muse live 15 times in total, 3 times between 2002 and 2005, 9 times between 2006 and 2010 and 2012, 2016 and 2019 and that period around 2008 was out of this world for me, great memories..
Wow, this takes me back. 2008 was absolutely peak Muse, and this was one hell of a gig - I was up in the heavens for this and even up there it was amazing. We got to throw one of the Bliss baloons, which Matt pops right at the end. 12 years later and this is the first time I've seen any pro-shot footage - donating!

Finaly a proshot of a best Megalomania perfomance ever and i must say that KoC was best at BHAR tour,shame that they didn't used "Man with Harmonica" intro at that time.Oh yeah and how bout foking Fury,this is vintage Muse right here.
He was very alcoholic and nearly kicked out of the band during this time, there’s plenty of articles about it if you search (also what Save Me and Liquid State is about from). The haircut reminds me of that so I don’t like it

Oh this bring backs some memories, I was meant to be getting ready for my finals at uni and got hold of tickets the week before. I burst into tears whe he came out to play the organ still one of my all time favourite muse gigs only surpassed by SBE 2017
My God, this was mind-blowing in every respect. After having seen them live three times and having watched an unhealthy amount of live videos, you'd think I'd be used to their awesomeness by now, but no. It never fails to astonish and delight.
all you lucky people who live in the UK getting so many good gigs by them, i saw them twice, i live in a rural area and had to drive 7 hours to see them in Chicago for the ST tour and it blew me away, the stuff they pull nowadays. Muser4Life
Unlike many others, I like Muse in every live show. That's maybe because I discovered the band in 2010 when they had already 5 studio albums...but since then it's definitely one of my favorites, in the top 5 of all times bands
I know it's arguable, but this is peak Muse (live) for me. To be fair to other performances, the audio mix & camera-work here is also 100% spot on for me. This is perfect.
Absolutely right. They were amazing here. But sound engineering and camera are simply perfect too. When the hammer drops in Knights, the perspective on Matt, but from behind the crowd could not be any better. Always makes me want to jump up too.
Id agree, 2008 was peak live muse, at this point they'd had a 3 successive amazing albums and unlike later times were less afraid to throw in at least one deep cut into most sets. I know this is controversial, but their later shows are theatre, and I know the band and people enjoy it, but for me this feels rawer and more powerful as a result.
@@frenchguitarguy1091 I wouldn't say it's controversial. The band is not shy about being more theatrical these days. Honestly, it all makes perfect sense to me. They're more rehearsed & refined, but they still improvise just plenty. They have to cater to Matt's voice growing old. I give them massive credit for staying healthy and having the stamina to give us routine world tours every few years.
I was there, of the many many many times I have seen Muse live this was the best. The excitement when Matt started playing Megalomania on the organ was unreal. Brings back awesome memories seeing this footage- thanks TCT!

Whilst it's great to see a few songs from this gig that haven't been released previously, it would have been incredible to see the entirety (or near to the entirety) of this. Still, seeing Knights and Bliss in particular is fantastic.
Oh man, this was one of the best days ever. I'm so grateful I got to be there at this show! This was my first concert of theirs so I wasn't familiar with anything other than the main tracks on Absolution and BHAR, and didn't realise the enormity of getting to hear Fury live AND Megalomania on that organ. Just amazing.
I never regretted that I skipped classes when I was in school just to play guitar hero. There was a Muse song and then I love it. I became a fan since then. 💛💛💛
