Dang that’s impressive. I was wondering if my previous vegan diet may have negatively affected my testosterone, but that is a great T level you have 7 years vegan.
Do you have any stats on the the ratio between binded and free testosterone? That is the really interesting fact in terms of testosterone. Having a high total testosterone does not mean that you have good levels per say, the SHBG is not active in the sense that you get good training results or increased endocrinic effect.
Thanks for sharing. May I ask where you started with your T levels? It's great that you've been able to maintain health on WFPB. My spouse is in his 30's with Low T/ hypogonadism. His is body does not produce T like it should, currently is in the low 100's and has been for over a decade even with hormone injections. I've seen men do well on a WFPB diet who started with relatively normal levels, but have not heard of anyone significatly increasing T or reversing hypogonadism. I think if I could find some credible research on this specificaly he might consider making a change.
Testing sex hormones is not very common in individuals with no symptoms who are under the age of 30. I was very happy with these test results though. While I haven't seen a specific study showing a WFPB diet reversing this disorder there are a number of studies showing 1. Animal products in general have estadiol and xenoestrogens that are not good for men or women. 2. Fiber can help bind to these unwanted hormones and hormone mimickers to expel them out of the body. 3. Vegan men usually have higher T levels than non-vegan men. I think we will see more and more research on WFPB nutrition, but there is enough evidence (in our opinion) that would lead us to believe it is currently the healthiest lifestyle almost anyone can adopt for optimal health.
Overall, you can still be very healthy while eating some seafood. There are many other factors to consider when having libido problems. The easiest place to start is mental health (i.e healthy social interactions, sleep, healthy stress control, dealing with emotional trauma, healthy relationship with sex, etc).
No he doesn't. Google vegan diet an Testosterone. There are NUMEROUS scientific studies citing men see an increase in T on a plant-based diet...and they weren't high to begin with!
@@brennanbourne yo but i guess none of these scientific studies talk about what exactly the men eat before the switched to vegan ....it would be very interesting to see a healthy meat-based diet vs. a healthy vegan diet over some years

You have to compare the figure to the one before you turned vegan.

total testosterone could mean shit. Check your shbg level and then you can tell if you have high testosterone.
At least talk about what you eat
He already said he was on a whole plat diet! Basically Venables, fruit nuts avocado etc. No meat , eggs or other animal products.
