i'm on a guz khan bender and came here after bingeing man like mobeen (heartbroken, your performance was amazing). this was a fantastic podcast, i could listen to you two talk for hours. subscribed 😊
It's great to see these lads sharing these memories, many can identify with this. Good to hear them speaking Urdu/Punjabi. Would be good to see more opportunities for modern British Asians to portray our culture. Can see where Zaheer gets his sense of humour 😀
As a Canadian who only speaks English, I didn't know what they were saying when they spoke other languages... But also I kinda DID, from tone and context, if you know what I mean?! And honestly, it always makes it better for me when I'm watching a talk like this in English and people to go to their mother tongues in moments of extreme emotion! Feels much more like watching some buds just genuinely hanging out and chatting
This is why these guys are so good at comedy. The way they understand and speak of the realities of life are unrivaled. They had me in stiches but also thinking deeply about the meaning of life ,what we are supposed to do in this world and how we are meant to leave it.
Honestly your relationship is something I admire so so much, both of you being able to go back and forth culturally, linguistically and spiritually is so beautiful to witness. You guys inspire me, and this in particular motivates me when I think of how difficult it can be challenging racism in our communities and friendships groups. Much love to you both, so much love ❤️
love tez and guz for what they have achieved and how awake and wide open eyed they are, funny!!!....love each other no matter what race, religion, creed, ethnicity, colour of your skin etc etc
43:56 Tez crying for the 17 year old that died... 💔 that kid is probably loving it right now in jannah, sleeping in peace... he went out in such a way that Allah would have had immense mercy, and a soul Allah would have been pleased with. I feel your pain Tez... 💔
Late to this, big fan of ‘an Like Mobeen. But the I have to say the warmth, love and brotherhood between you and Guz is palpable, reminds me of me and my best friend, we are friends, but we are family and always will be. I do believe it when Guz said about meeting people who your soul just knows and vibes with. This was a brilliant chat between two great men. Lots of love and all respect my man
can you 2 legends do an hour of chat every day please? that was both mind blowing education and comedy at the same time, love both of you so much, Guz the show should have been called man like Guz, you are as cool as they come bruv, Tez can you branch out into voiceovers / audio books I could listen to you reading a dictionary.
I totally agree with the comments made about our masaajids. Unfortunately alot of the masjids are run by people who have very little care for the youth and care about their own statuses their own pockets and thats the sad reality
A few months late but what a watch this is brilliant humour but also thank you guys for opening up to us there were some real emotions on show here also your love and care for our communities is heartening and humbling
That was great, but heart breaking you confirming 8 being dead. I dont wanna learn a lesson, I want my favourite characters to keep going!! Would love to see Humza Arshad on here; Mark Silcox; Romesh Ranganathan; Sunil Patel; Akmal Saleh; Theodore Saidden; Nathan Saidden; Amelia Dimoldenberg; Paul Chowdhry, Asim Chaudhry, Ahir Shah; Dilruk Jayasinha; Nazeem Hussain. Just some suggestions. Thanks :)
Love this interview, hilarious, relatable and maa sha Allah some great messages as a Muslim, especially with regards to our mums. Also Guz at 31:52 does the best Alan Carr impression when doing generic gora showbiz voice lol
I work in Blackburn when I was 15/16 one summer ad a CD packing factor, and on of the lads I worked with was stabbed with a samurai sword in Corporation park.... Wondering if they are talking about the same kid
Love this video you 2 together is absolutely a must see then I remembered 8 died in the last episode of man like mobeen 8 was my favorite character and now he’s gone 😭😭😭😭
Huge respect to these 2 brothers! Got there priorities in Check. Didnt clock these boys were about there Deen! Goes 2 show, dont judge a book by its cover. Stay Humble Keep up the good work Lads 💯
@Tez@Guz Brothers, honored to have discovered you two🖤 No I'm no guru but the way I see it, you two are fighting for love, hope, harmony and justice among all races and religion in your community and the world. If I'm free I'll be a free tour guide/translator/chaperon for you two, if you ever visit the tropics of Chittagong, Bangladesh. I could relate deeply cuz I have used comedy and spirituality to cope with harsh stuff since childhood. May Allah bless you two geniuses ☕ Respects, Anhar
Man Like Mobeen brought me here. 5 mins into that I had to pause it, wait for my guy to come home because I knew I had found a gem. We binged the 3 seasons in one day. I got my sis into it, then the folks so I watched it all 3 times. We died of laughter throughout; special shoutout to the Hood Whisperer as one of the realest representations of Jamaicans on TV 🤣 You guys are so real and down to earth. Now I've gone on a deep dive into your stand up and other content. Genuinely enjoyed just listening to you guys. Proper funny but also deep and introspective. Nuff love and respect.
NOOOOOOOO!! 8 is gone?! heartbroken!! it's reality... :'-( SO much truth Guz! You HAVE to do Man like Mobeen, I'm not ready to let it go! ALSO, just died laughing out loud!!
Just saying I am going through and watching your Legacy interviews. I love the content and the way you talk about it. Coming from a British Punjabi Sikh household was great in some ways but also had many problems from lack of sensitivity, sympathy and openness. Watching the way you and Guz Khan talk is homely, it strikes deep the idea of trying to work and live without egotism and having or building a strong open family before thinking that money is the only important thing. Please if you have not already started a podcast with Guz, do it. I think bringing up these important topics and talking about it in your humble way is a great way to get a conversation going and is enjoyable to listen to also. Plus I would put it on in my car to get my parents to listen the Punglish jokes and secretly contemplate the deeper topics to. Mental health, sexuality, drugs/addiction, looking inwards rather than only see faults outwardly, parents not stifling children's dreams and only letting boys work and girls cook.... all great stuff and need whole podcasts on each and even second casts for same topics but with listeners feedback and stories. Thanks for liking my comment Tez, hope you read this too! assalamu alaikum / WJKK WJKF
Guzz...totally agree with the"forget the money " comment,,, but what if it's actually impossible bro..I've been there...financial worry and working every hour for the children we can't spend time with....it's a community thing bro...we have to start at home...for me home is the whole community !! People are too proud to speak about their own kids man,!! We need to get passed it...that way we can accept help from somewhere other than just our home. May Allah keep blessing you both and keep you grounded in this dunyah.Ameen
I am DYING at my work computer!! Makes me wish I had more brown mates. Being a brown girl, I am MISSING OUT! :'( Nobody at work would get this. NOBODY! Where are all the brown people in science?! Stop going in to medicine, come to science, we need the banter! I loved you both in Man like Mobeen, when's another series coming out?!!
Bro Tez you should do public speaking. Your a good orator and great content. The points about mosque duties is absolutely correct. We have to have a unity to decide on issues to include in mosques
MashAllah excellent to see that Alhamdulillah when Apnas get fame they dont forget who they are as today apnas are suffering from an identity crisis. All wanna bes. But Alhamdulillah good to see two muslims who have kept to their boundaries despite fame. Plenty of love from a brother from Nelson! Allah make you successful in this world and hereafter. Ameen
Now I know this is Legacy , but you make sure eight survives them shots so help me goodness I'll suit up and fly up through there and parachute on top of them shooter in mid stride 🇱🇧🇮🇪🇨🇦🦍🤣🤣🤣
Yes lads, killed me off this, brilliant as always tez!!
i'm on a guz khan bender and came here after bingeing man like mobeen (heartbroken, your performance was amazing). this was a fantastic podcast, i could listen to you two talk for hours. subscribed 😊
Glad you spoke about things that matter. The Deen, life and death. Most comedians are afraid to touch these subjects.
It's great to see these lads sharing these memories, many can identify with this. Good to hear them speaking Urdu/Punjabi. Would be good to see more opportunities for modern British Asians to portray our culture. Can see where Zaheer gets his sense of humour 😀

come on,,,British asians culture is pretty well covered....ie what are we watching right now.
Ma Sha Allah, love your chemistry, but also love the fact that you talk about real social issues.... 100% spot on
This is why these guys are so good at comedy. The way they understand and speak of the realities of life are unrivaled. They had me in stiches but also thinking deeply about the meaning of life ,what we are supposed to do in this world and how we are meant to leave it.
This conversation reminded me abit of chats I used to have with my best mate, sat in his car, shooting the breeze about the good old days and antics.
Im in stitches watching you guys, feels like having a laugh with the boys!!
This 80's Bill Cosby sweater is giving me life.
Oh my god, in tears of laughter. Reminds of chilling with family and retelling old stories. Brilliant.
love tez and guz for what they have achieved and how awake and wide open eyed they are, funny!!!....love each other no matter what race, religion, creed, ethnicity, colour of your skin etc etc
