- A walk through tour of our converted 1997 Thomas MVP school bus that we converted into a Skoolie. With our 5 kids we are a full time family living on the road.

Such an inspiration to see other families on the road. Our bus is ready for pick up this week from the mechanic and let the games begin...LOL...You guys did a great job of thinking out that layout for everyone. Wonderful job. I was ready to hit the road a long time ago when my three beautiful grand daughters were met with great misfortune and I put my dreams on hold and made a home for them as they were going to be split up. They had lost so much already that it just didn't seem right to see them lose each other also. Fast forwarding a couple of years, they are healthy, happy, and TOGETHER...as they should be. So I am blessed to now include my three beautiful girls in the journey. Many critics have given me their unsolicited advice of course, as I am sure you have had your share too, and what I have come to believe...or know...is that seeing the world through fresh eyes and renewing their little spirits after all they have been through is exactly what the doctor ordered. I sure hope to see you guys on our travels...please say hello if you catch our bus passing...you cant miss us because on both sides it reads " It's A Wander-FULL Life" ...and it sure is indeed. Wishing you safe and happy travels and memories that will last a lifetime and beyond...I look forward to following you guys!

me my wife and son,he grew up in the bus I built ,we seen most of the sights in America,when he turned 15 and finished home school,we bought 4 acres and parked the bus,we still tour but not as often,living in a bus is fun to the max,saved over 100k in rent in 13 years,people have no idea how much they pay and have to live with grouchy neighbors,not anymore,bus'es rock,yours is damn fine,enjoy

Great conversion! I don't think I could do it with five kids, but you folks make it work, so props to you. I'm afraid that I disagree with you on one point though...there is NOBODY with a bigger back yard than you. Your yard is exactly the size of the planet! You've given up being stuck in one place but that seems like a win to me. You have lost in the amount of things you can own and all that entails...hmmm...nope, that's another win. So, it seems that you have lost nothing and gained everything......I'm the one with the problem 'cause I envy you. Heh, heh. .....................................PEACE!!

Completely agree. Layout for those with multiple children is perfect imo.
I keep seeing this comment on every video, and it’s funny because a lot of the buses are the same. I do like how this one in particular uses the back door more than the front and separates the beds though. Trying to come up with a plan is tough, having an extra door seems like it changes the game entirely.
@@catmccjk1 I think it's so great you are doing that with your kids. They are getting to see and experience what most only can dream of. Including myself.
Couple questions though. 1st where do you shower.? I never saw one.
2. And you don't have to answer, I would understand. But you mentioned your business. What do you do? If you don't mind me asking.

Yes. There are days that its a bit overwhelming, but for the most part its manageable, and makes the experience even more memorable.

Wilderness Wandering you’re very welcome! Yesterday I put a bid in on a bus. Now anticipation for the next 13 days to see if I win... I sure hope so. It’s even got 3 under carriage boxes, 2 on the drivers side and 1 on the passenger side. I was looking for one that has a flat face and rear engine, but after really thinking about it, the one I bid on is actually better. 11 windows, has a hood and is the 7.3 diesel international. It’s a 2004 so it’s pre-emission. No DEF...

Love this conversion! Such a unique layout.. however, where is the shower/bath? I like the separation of the master area.. and the mid kitchen layout is on point!

I covered a van into my tiny home I love traveling in it I have a shower and toilet room and loads of living and counter space because I don't have a bed I have a hammock that stream he's from the front to the back of my van and I love it if I want a more solid bed it isn't hard to put down the couch as a bed
