- In this edited video, I played the complete game and recorded all important scenes from Sonic Boom : Rise of Lyric on Wii U and removed all the loading times to create a smooth, new and unique narrative with re-ordered scenes. This is probably the best and most expressive animation in a 3D Sonic game. It’s a shame the game itself turned out how it did.

Don't go too far, why are you so excited? The expressions of characters, the colors and the animation are weird. Frontiers, Dream Team did better.

You forgot Frontiers DLC did that too. But what is so interesting in that? It ruins the intensity of the moment! It's fun as an Easter Egg but for an important story moment, there's no reason for that!

FACTS
This is not a development, it's another Amy version. And this Amy is annoying in the show, she is an overly adult-like killjoy. Frontiers, Dream Team and Prime have the best version of Amy. She is mature and sweet, but isn't a killjoy and can be enthusiast without it concerns Sonic.
@@maryafantalia8614 Funny how you said that when in the show is literally the opposite of what you are describing and more alike to the last 3 you mention. I don't disagree about prime, frontier and dt Amy being better but if they are the way they are is because boom Amy was the one of the if not the first version of Amy not harrasing Sonic 99% of the time. Infact the reason why boom Sonic looks si tires of life is because Eggman is no threat, Amy is not on top of him like her life depends on it and Shadow don't break stuff unless he gets pocked first. Boom Amy walked so the futures Amys could run, btw boom is canon so this is no longer another version of Amy and is actually character depelovment.

Let’s see here. In a villain introduction, we’ve got the ancient evil with a deep, scratchy voice released on the world who inexplicably knows the protagonists that we later find out is due to time travel stuff and does something crazy that we don’t see too often or ever before. I’m almost tempted to think Zelda Tears of the Kingdom derived its villain introduction from this game and just decided to do it a hundred times better.
Cool, the scene in min 36-37 mins remembers me of Skylanders's landscape

@@spiderman2638 How obvious?! The animation has nothing wrong! And you really have to be blind to not notice characters changing constantly expressions, it's not even possible to ignore them unless being in denial, there are only Sonic fans to complain about something that!

Having Shadow in Rise of Lyric made no sense since he was only there to fight Sonic thinking he's weak for having friends.

The way this game starts is so janky. It just opens right out of nowhere with Sonic getting blasted. I feel like there could've been a smoother way to open this.

@@maryafantalia8614. A:"the animation quality in each subsequent Sonic Game after unleashed continually got worse. This is predominantly an outlier because the characters facial structure was modified enough to be easily readable without being too unrecognisable from the original, for Sonic As example, they turned his eyes more horizontal by raising the gab between the bottom of the joint between them, while amy's was increased but rounded out to be still readable, tail and knuckles was just shrinked and pulled apart. As Sonic Prime proved it, the blue blurr can and Should pull off a more cartoony movement plus looks! The lighting problems I don't even get since the devs had to squease a cry engine made game on the incredibly weka wii U! I'm surprised it's This good looking! At this point, you're both ignorant and whiny, so educate yourself, with"the animation of Sonic games"video!
@@erikbihari3625Continually got worse? No, you dream. And if you think the games before Unleashed have a better animation, you're in trouble. Frontiers and Dream Team exist. The expressions of characters in those games are way better than any game ever did. In Frontiers, we see constantly characters changing expressions of different emotions, sometimes in the same shot. We saw them being happy, sad, afraid, angry, serious, their animation isn't limited in Frontiers. In Dream Team, all character designs are very close of the CGI. And they have also many different expressions.
Boom and Prime are precisely too cartoonish and that is their problem. They don't capture the power and aura the mainline games have. That is all.
