• Sonic Game Movies
Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles are alerted to robots that are attacking a famous city of the future. They set out to retrieve a legendary artifact that has the ability to control gravity. Along the way they discover surprises, including the return of the Babylon Rogues, a group of avian thieves who are also after the artifacts. This sets off a war to decide who gets the artifact, leading them to settle their dispute by having an Extreme Gear competition.
As always we used relevant gameplay, important dialogue and all cutscenes to create a fluid cinematic experience. We hope you enjoy!

This was one of my favorite games from my childhood. The racing mechanics were fantastic. And the maps were wonderfully made. Hands down better than any mario kart map. I'm glad I came across these cutscenes again, because in all honesty, this is one of the few games I've ever played that had a memorable story (admittedly, the story is full of technobabble and holes, but it was a cool idea nonetheless).

I wish I've heard of sonic sooner as a kid. The only games I had was unleashed on both PS2 (with no memory card) and Xbox 360 and Sonic 06. I would love the Sonic Riders duology if I had them.

Am I the only one who really loves the ending to the game and how cool it is. No crazy build up no sad endings… just two rivals just racing to see whose the fastest… in my mind that’s all riders really needed and that’s why I love Jet and Sonics rivalry. Instead of them trying to kill each other or fight to see whose ideals are right the two just race and take on each other cause they just see each other as a rival to be respected. That’s a Rivarly I can get behind

y'know... the more I look at their forearms... it makes me appreciate the freakish proportions of skinny arms n' wrists with huge, gloved hands.
i love how protective the team is of amy, especially arpund the 6 minute mark. Knuckles protecting her from the camera, sonic pushing her out of the way of the robots, then sonic body guarding her from jet... and people say she was never part of the team!
dang, i remember this being the one sonic game me and my friends ALL agreed was good. we used to play it all the time, so seeing this brought back a ton of memories. i'm really glad to see that even after all this time the story still holds up, personally it's up there alongside unleashed as my favorite sonic game c:

Happy 15th anniversary, Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity!
I like the rivalry between Sonic and Jet. It's nice that it's based more on their pride and spirit of competitiveness instead of right and wrong like Sonic and Shadow. Though I do like Sonic and Shadow, it's nice to see that Sonic does have other rivals that pushes him in different directions like the occasional tests of strength he has with Knuckles whenever he listens to another one of Eggman's sob stories.
Back when this game came out I remember renting it at blockbuster. Feel old yet?

When sonic games go on this more fun futuristic route, with a decent story they usually work. Sonic games don't really work cos Dr.eggman is so over used and more good villains or good side characters like B.rouges and steaks need to added. Make the games more grittier but still fun

We need more Sonic games with these elements and also more of these ancient history based plots like in Sonic Unleashed. Sonic since Colors just seem bland now.

Honestly this was the only sonic game that I loved. I’m realizing the only reason why I enjoy sonic so much is because of this game and the show Sonic X. Sonic riders zero gravity for the wii was fun too.

because Free Riders was so bad it killed this spin off series.
I’m actually kind of shocked they made a second one of these. My sister and I owned the first and never even got past the first few levels. Not saying a ton for me, but my sister was a consistent gamer when we were kids and had a tendency not to give up on a level until she could beat it, even if it took putting it down a few times and coming back to it. The first Sonic Riders game was so wacky control wise and everything we pretty much only played it for the non-story line races. Never did find out what the game was really about lol. Guess I’ll have to find the OG game cutscenes after this.
