This was a GREAT episode. Going into this, I honestly thought the results were going to be Eureka winning and Pandora going home out of "balancing the competition", but I'm glad that didn't happen. I honestly have been waiting for Jan's elimination since Scarlet's. I don't hate Jan by any means but....she just came back too soon and ended up getting a "delusional queen" edit, much like Milk and Blair, which definitely got a negative reaction out of me. All that being said, she IS talented and like you said, I was SUPER glad to see Trinity validate Jan in that moment before she left the stage. Her energy level is valid, its just that it doesn't apply to EVERY challenge perfectly in the context of Drag Race. The judges 100% worded those critiques for Jan poorly in my opinion.
Did anyone else peep how they forgot to edit in RuPaul’s fake laugh for Zaldy’s introduction, and put it in Eureka’s performance? 😭 and speaking of Zaldy (who is absolutely gorgeous btw), I refuse to believe they dress Ru every week because that dress was EVERYTHING which we don’t get every week.
You’re absolutely right Trinity turned it out this episode and has been on fire from the start of the season, in challenges and/or runways; the other girls underestimated her for sure, to their own demise. Top queens thus far: Trinity, Raja, Ginger, Eureka (and Kylie Sonique who’s a serious contender now). All around fun episode, with a mad catchy song. Love your thorough commentary too.
I think Jan completely misunderstood the assignment. She heard "positive and uplifting" and she thought about how she's constantly reminded that she doesn't really show enough of herself. So she tried to kill 2 birds with 1 stone and positively uplift herself in hopes that it'll come off as relatable too. But her lyrics were too specific to her for it to be vague enough for someone else to relate to.
Jan made the exact opposite mistake of the one Trinity made in her first draft -- she made the lyrics too self-referential instead of too preachy. Just as Trinity saved her verse by focusing more on her own experience instead of giving advice, Jan could have saved hers by just adding a line to briefly connect her own experience with the listener's "And you too can stay peppy when people criticize you! Positivity is a strength!" But Jan didn't (that we saw) get the helpful workroom advice that Trinity did, and she didn't see the problem herself.

I am LIVING for TKB this season. She is much more confident than her season, this is someone who took the time to get comfortable with herself and understand + perfect her brand (unlike Jan!!) BUT I can bet you money she'll be done dirty just before the top 4... I can smell some fuckery in the air! Ginger's runways + outfits have been a boot the entire season for me and she makes certain snide comments (why did she tell Kylie I was going to vote you off? Why didn't she mind her damn business when the other group was rehearsing?) and it's really grating on my nerves. I feel a little bad for Pandora but she is not going to win this season with her shoulda woulda coulda excuses.

Right! I was so taken aback by the wig flying off! All that hair tossing she's been doing in performances all these years. Girl we just seen the wig glue in action when she was in full Bey glam! I would be shocked if she didn't do it to throw the lipsync. And I see why, because Jan seemed to be a huge fan favorite and she didn't know how the audience would turn on her. But girl... that's $10,000 she threw away! She would've won! And she had to send her home anyway!

It's obvious that Ginger has been carried through to this point. Her fashion choices have been sub par no elevation at all for All Stars, yes she can act and do camp but so what. I see others being marginalized that are killing challenges and I really don't like the smell of it.
Ginger has actually really impressed me in the last few episodes. Although Eureka should probably have won Pink Table Talk over her, Ginger's lip sync was so fire that I couldn't begrudge her the win. She was the funniest last week (in a stupid challenge, yes, but she found laughs in a bad script where others did not) and this week her verse was by far the best written of the lot. No, she's not a look queen, to put it kindly. But her recent challenge performances have made me take her far more seriously than I did on S7 or AS2.

I love how we got one of the most blah episodes last time and then went right into one of the BEST episodes of the season! I also loved this track - very Beyoncé/DC3 and I was into it. TKB ate this challenge. People be calling Rajah the winner this season (and I still believe it will be her), but TKB is really giving her a run for her money, honey!! Black excellence is unstoppable!! Love to see it and I'm really enjoying TKB's energy and talent this season. The stars of this challenge were: TKB, Rajah, Kylie's skirt, and Ginger's wig. Jan, Jan, Jan: She didn't even do bad in the challenge, but it's a tight race now. But she missed a maaaajor opportunity with her lyrics. She is peppy like a CHEERLEADER - someone who literally roots for others!!! She could have done a "gimme an s-h-o-w UP" somehwere and it would have been so much better! Oh well. Ru's dress was so pretty! Love! But let me tell you something about a tropical look: the queens were hitting the Bianca del Rio-level tropics, but the winner of this runway was.... Shea Coulee's AS5 entrance look! lol. Jan's look was better than Ginger's, but if Ginger had had one dash of pink/yellow in her look, it would have been as good or better! And excuse me about Eureka - but that was so so basic. It was a bodysuit! She doesn't even have a little tie on the side or a skirt to reveal (think Scarlett as Katy Perry)....nothing? Carson was right - even different earrings would have helped. It wasn't ugly, but it wasn't All Stars-level, to me. LMAO Matty, this voice on "ThE CrITiQuEs TaKe PlAcE..." 🤣🤣!! The lipsync: as soon as I heard the song, I knew Alexis had it. A very even matchup (TKB actually had a slight edge going in, in my mind)....but also, we have seen this look on Alexis. Was it in her AS5 talent show performance? Or the red dress she made for the backyard cookout episode? Maybe it's just the neckline I'm thinking of. Anyways.....Alexis won as soon as that wig came off. Just bad luck for TKB...:(. WHEN SHE PULLED TWO LIPSTICKS I----------!!! The best!!! And Jan thought she was safe because Pandora's lipstick appeared, and then seconds later she is destroyed again....My God. What a rollercoaster!! For real, Jan really went through it this season. What a good (Jan)sport....had to do it! :p. Sad to see her go, but it was time. And TKB didn't win any money and STILL had to eliminate a queen.....! "Oof, not this" lol. Very good exit line. Would still love to wait a few years and see Jan on a future AS season. Just needs to settle into herself a little more and then she will have the kind of run that we are seeing with TKB and Rajah right now!

Ginger is getting on my last nerve. She’s playing mind games with Pandora and even took the lipstick box away from Pandora who had been counting the lipstick votes. I am happy that Pandora was saved and I hope that she can bounce back for next week. 🎁❤️

Jan came into the show thinking it was a competition when actually, it's a reality show first and foremost so she was trying so hard and not being natural or relaxed enough to live in challenges like this. She basically created her own narrative by trying so hard and constantly talking about it while the rest of the girls still there(besides Pandora) understand what the actual assignment is. Pandora is having the issue too because she's letting herself fade into the background and just do challenges when the real battle is in the workroom and confessionals making the audience like you and being just messy enough to keep the camera on you.
Season 6- Sissy that Walk with Bianca, Adore and Courtney....loved it. Especially the special effects when they had to lie on a couch with the wind machine. That was everything and keyed me up for more. Anti=climax ever since. And Ru was in the video!

If they wanted the tie thing to be a stunt, they would’ve done it when Scarlet and Jan were tied for elimination. It would’ve also added to a bigger gag that the rollover hit $40,000. I really don’t think Trinity “set this up” to lose
I don’t understand why Jan’s elimination is such a gag. She’s been in the bottom 3 times (the EXACT same thing A’Keria was eliminated for). Her one win should have gone to TKB, so to me it’s not a huge factor. And she continues to struggle to find herself. It was time.
I keep telling my man Rupaul don’t like when the girls drop their wigs! And this time it was obvious!!! Trinity dropped that wig and my man said OK SHE JUST LOST HUH, I said yup trained you well 🥴 if it wasn’t for that, she woulda won 🏆

I think Ginger was just genuinely trying to help them, because when it comes down to details you need to look from in front (as theirs no mirror) in order to instruct what they might be doing wrong.

This was a good episode. I enjoyed the challenge. I think Trinity and Rajah where the more stand out performers even though Ginger's verse was the best. I lost it when Ms.Trinity's wig came off. 😆 I thought it was probably planned, but not sure. It just seemed weird for her not to have stuck her wig down. Plus it did make for an entertaining result, but the real question is though when are we finally going to find out about this game within a GAME???!!! We've been waiting ages now.
Oh!! I too thought about them setting it up for the gag with the tie and what not! But you don't like many song challenges? For me I have enjoyed most of them. Some are more memorable than others but whatever! LOL

This was a good episode. That crack at the end. Poor Trinity's wig. Glad she won because she should have three wins. Also, the lipsynch seemed short for some reason. Love seeing Alexis Mateo.
I'm totally positively sure that TKB threw the lipsync on purpose. A queen of her caliber doesn't just "forget" to glue and secure her wig... that's why she was so mad she still had to vote someone off
Jesus Christ that elimination was brutal, going from Pandora to a tie to Jan was so stressful to watch, this season really is pulling no punches. Also stan Alexis, I really didn't think there was a whole reveal with that gown but boy oh boy did she go off once it was stripped.
I can't stand the music challenges were the queens have to perform a RuPaul original song (this is usually for the TOP 5 challenge, as a way to find the top 4).
I felt for Pandora !! I wish they would be more fair to queens who are older or can't dance. Drag queens should not be expected to fucking dance all the time ! We can perform beautifully, but when people come to shows and expect us to dance like a lipsync for your life on this show is comical ! We are supposed to LIPSYNC and ACT then throw in a couple moves. I hate to watch a queen who just dances the whole time.
Im confused.. when Rupaul visited everyone, did no one tell Jan how her lyrics were coming off? I figured that would of been a part of the disconnect she had the entire episode with the final goodbye. Like the episode story arch would of been for her and not for Pandora.
Ok drag race fans this is my thoughts on this episode the Queens are doing well but I want to address this to you why are so many of these Queens when it's lip sync time they have to do flips cartwheels splits guess what you are not on Cirque du Soleil or the UniverSoul Circus sing with more rhythm and soul you are taking away from the songs some songs don't call for all that,and TKB Is a Lip Sync assassin herself so how is it that she hasn't won. The only lip sync assassin that have been on all stars were Coco Montrese Brooke Lynn Hytes and Laganja. Yes the right Queen did go home.. God bless all of you and remember to have fun💯

Jan came into the show thinking it was a competition when actually, it's a reality show first and foremost so she was trying so hard and not being natural or relaxed enough to live in challenges like this. She basically created her own narrative by trying so hard and constantly talking about it while the rest of the girls still there(besides Pandora) understand what the actual assignment is. Pandora is having the issue too because she's letting herself fade into the background and just do challenges when the real battle is in the workroom and confessionals making the audience like you and being just messy enough to keep the camera on you.
This was one of the best episodes of drag race that I've been seen in a long gotdamn time.

Season 6- Sissy that Walk with Bianca, Adore and Courtney....loved it. Especially the special effects when they had to lie on a couch with the wind machine. That was everything and keyed me up for more. Anti=climax ever since. And Ru was in the video!

I don’t understand why Jan’s elimination is such a gag. She’s been in the bottom 3 times (the EXACT same thing A’Keria was eliminated for). Her one win should have gone to TKB, so to me it’s not a huge factor. And she continues to struggle to find herself. It was time.
This episode was Soo good! I'm living for TKB and Ra'jah although to me it sounded like they were picking the smallest things with her.

I think Ginger was just genuinely trying to help them, because when it comes down to details you need to look from in front (as theirs no mirror) in order to instruct what they might be doing wrong.

This was a good episode. I enjoyed the challenge. I think Trinity and Rajah where the more stand out performers even though Ginger's verse was the best. I lost it when Ms.Trinity's wig came off. 😆 I thought it was probably planned, but not sure. It just seemed weird for her not to have stuck her wig down. Plus it did make for an entertaining result, but the real question is though when are we finally going to find out about this game within a GAME???!!! We've been waiting ages now.

I can't stand the music challenges were the queens have to perform a RuPaul original song (this is usually for the TOP 5 challenge, as a way to find the top 4).
I felt for Pandora !! I wish they would be more fair to queens who are older or can't dance. Drag queens should not be expected to fucking dance all the time ! We can perform beautifully, but when people come to shows and expect us to dance like a lipsync for your life on this show is comical ! We are supposed to LIPSYNC and ACT then throw in a couple moves. I hate to watch a queen who just dances the whole time.
Im confused.. when Rupaul visited everyone, did no one tell Jan how her lyrics were coming off? I figured that would of been a part of the disconnect she had the entire episode with the final goodbye. Like the episode story arch would of been for her and not for Pandora.
Ru would want to look fabulous with her designer there as a guest judge. Just saying.
Ok drag race fans this is my thoughts on this episode the Queens are doing well but I want to address this to you why are so many of these Queens when it's lip sync time they have to do flips cartwheels splits guess what you are not on Cirque du Soleil or the UniverSoul Circus sing with more rhythm and soul you are taking away from the songs some songs don't call for all that,and TKB
