- We built a craft cutter cart for our makerspace! We're open sourcing our makerspace. Want to make a cart on a CNC for your own use? See our links below. The original awesome design concept is from Jen Schachter of Tested - please check out her plans as well. Thank you to AvidCNC for supporting Narwhal Labs with a new PRO series 2448 CNC Router - an excellent machine to make one of these carts on.

Awesome! Can't wait to get in there and start some projects. Thanks
We can't wait either!
Can’t wait till you open!!
Nice Job on the makes space and cart Jeff.... IKP
Super excited to be working on Narwhal Labs! Can't wait till it's open.
I've already been there! Twice! Looking forward to the opening!
Looks like you're off to a great start.
Snazzy! Looks like the drawer slides well with the paste wax. But if there’s clearance, a strip of ptfe tape on each side will minimize contact surface and really help it slide. Just an idea
Awesome to see the space coming along... Can't wait to make it to the grand opening! I was going to knock one of these out for my wife this week but the .dxf files don't open in my CNC software to scale. Each piece comes in at like 1" tall. I will have to play around with it and trial and error to get each piece to fit.
Countryside Workshop Not sure what software you’re using, but I’m guessing you’re using everything in metric. Was designed in inches. Scale the whole thing to 25.4x and it’ll likely be correct. They load up fine for me in fusion and vCarve.
@@NarwhalLabs I use the cheaply free Carbide Create that comes with the Shapeoko, it is all imperial.
Thank you for working on the makerspace for me. Can't wait to work in there haha. Seriously though, that space looks pretty cool. How much epoxy do I gotta buy to work in there?
😃👍🏻👊🏻
