I would like to take a moment to praise you Jason for your neat and clean property. You and Brooke work so hard. Your animal pens, garden and your new house reflect intelligence, good design, high standards, and lots of hard work. I am really enjoying your videos.
Cutest, quirky tub garden ever! My favorite color. Looks perfect against the white barndaminium. Really a creative idea, Jason. Just what the potage needed. Sorry to see your broken fountain. Stuff just happens, especially in gardens. I broke 2 of my beautiful most cherished super large pots in one crash.😢 IMHO, that azalea woodland garden is going to be something special. That little Holly girl is a bundle of unconditional love.🐶❤ Happy Easter, Cog Hill! 🐣 As always from CA🏖️take care.
Love the bathtub idea! I really think you can fix the old fountain if you drilled some holes in the top and bottom broken areas, cut some short pieces of rebar. Epoxy them in and more epoxy to glue the pieces together. You can use concrete dust to cover the repair or possibly paint the whole piece with a rustic color. Maybe you could use both then! Texas Deb 😊❤️
Love your new water feature. A few suggestions, if I may, don’t buy Water lilies or Duckweed for your new water feature. Water lilies like calm waters and Duckweed will multiply faster than rabbits. I would add a few inexpensive goldfish, aka feeder fish, to help keep the mosquitoes at bay. ❤
Opinion from 20 plus years experience in putting in water features The water is not moving fast enough to bother the water lilies I have them in my old tub for years blooms every year .
If they have duck weed they could harvest it put it in the swimming pools after cleaning out for the babies to eat. But watch out we know how Brook n MC love their tub time!!! I can see one of them sneeking in the water feature hehehe
Happy Wednesday! Really Jason that old claw foot tub was a great idea for a fountain feature. You did a good job fixing the faucet. The new tub fountain really fits nicely in that spot! Especially after you dress it up with some greenery. Sorry the other one broke! I hope you can fix it. I think it is possible. It was a nice looking fountain. You sure have been busy. ❤
Cog Hill videos from 6 years to now are getting better with each one! What I mean is that the next video out does the other and that's why I keep on watching 😊😊😊❤❤❤
I love the way you guys incorporated Rocky and Bandit into your farm! I also love seeing how Brooke and Mary Carl use their talents to encourage and support you in your love of farming! Together, your family is a power house of love! The Lord bless your family all the more as you continue to shine His love! 😊❤❤❤
I just love the bathtub water feature. It's trickle is just enough for a soothing relaxing sound! Can't wait to see what you add as far as water plants!
Holly is precious. Your digging and planting and she got exhausted watching you and fell asleep. You two are doing an awesome job. Love the tub, azaleas and this video was wonderful.
I was worried that you meant an accident on yourself, so glad you didn't. I love water features of all kinds. The sound is so relaxing. Pleased you managed to figure something out. Xx
It’s encouraging to see a gardener who understands how crucial it is to build up the soil. It’s the only way to have a successful/healthy garden. Jason, you are a great example and teacher. Kudos to you brother!
I thank God and smile every time I see those puppies. I am so glad you rescued them! I absolutely love your channels. You work so hard for everything you have. Have a blessed day.
That fountain you made is pure genius, you are so creative! Plus you saved lots of money not buying one already made. The clawfoot tub looks awesome. God bless you all. ❤
Love the new water fountain. That beautiful blue tub sure did clean up nicely. The ending of the video where Bandit and Rocky were running to catch up to their momma was just...precious.
We used an old claw foot tub from my childhood home (1950’s) as a planter in our mountain home when we moved three years ago it was too heavy for us to move so the buyer got my beautiful memory statement piece. You will enjoy this water feature.
Brooke walking with the puppies couldn't be more precious. Jason, I love your water fountain feature! Water plants are going to look spectacular. Pick something colorful!
Hey mama, I agree! Jason is so creative! It has a wonderful sound that is very peaceful! Jason I hope you will figure out a 'perch' so maybe a bird might stop by for a drink or a bath/shower. My hummers like sprinklers. Do you have problems with mosquitoes in water features there, too?
I love your transformation of the bathtub to a fountain. I can see Holly jumping in, after a hard days work 😂❤ I love yours and Brooke’s channels. Have a great day, and stay safe from the bad weather ❤
I wish I still had the energy that ya'll have...but age has taken care of that. I so enjoy watching what ya'll grow and plant. Thank you so much Brooke and Jason. ❤🙏
Good Morning Cog Family & Squad. I hope everyone is feeling well today. Don’t beat yourself up for a little accident, I’m with Brooke-I’m sure it can be repaired. Have a blessed day☀️
❤What a happy accident! I am sorry about the broken water feature but what a perfect replacement. I love the faucet delivery too. Can't wait to see the water plants. It could not be more perfect. And the water "noise" is beautiful. And the old base from the original fountain was perfect under the tub. I love HAPPY ACCIDENTS.
I can’t wait to see your farm in 5 and 10 years. You remind me so much of my Dad when he was with us in his garden. He had veggie, fruit , trees , flowers and bee’s . Thanks for the memories and Smiles 🐼
I love the way you come up with all these ideas with things you find in the barn. Looking forward to see what water plants you put in it. God Bless your family making your farm look so beautiful. Do you have plans for your bottle tree?
Love, love, love that water feature!! Very cool. Your farm looks so good. You two keep it so clean. I am missing those puppies….😩. May we see them playing together just a bit more? They’ll be grown before we know it! Love to all the two and four legged creatures on CHF! PS - I think you can fix that water fountain.
Good morning Cog Hill and Cog squad ❤. Jason you are the one that will be able to fix the accident with the least amount of problems we have Fath in you. Everyone remember to smash the like button for the best channel on U Tube. 💯 ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊 Jason drill some holes and put in some rebar and cement it back together
Love your use of the old tub. Love how you two take on so many projects and things coming together to make your property to look so amazing. Prayers that no tornados come through.
So sorry, Jason! I have a similar one that was my father's that the dogs knocked over, chasing a squirrel! Let me know if you figure out how to fix it!❤
Thanks for gardening tips. Sorry about the fountain but I'm sure someone in Cog Squad will have a repair idea 👍💓. The tub looks great and I bet water lilies would do well. So great to see the storms missed you. Stay safe. How is Granddaddy doing ? Blessings to Cog Hill 40 🙏 Easter Blessings, Peace,Love and Joy to all. 🕊️
So sorry about the mishap with your fountain , hopefully you can fix it and use it still. Along with some water plants you could get a few goldfish to keep any mosquitos away ( they’ll eat any larvae) . Or maybe make a turtle haven , lots of options . There are water hyacinths and water lettuce and all sorts of water plants that would be nice . The sound of water is relaxing .
Awesome idea with the old tub, Jason. I am still amazed at how fast Cheese is growing. Love all the plants that you & Brooke have planted.Take care & cheers 🥰
Jason sounds like a great idea for the bath, please if you don’t want to be cleaning the WF all the time then get a couple of mesh bags and add charcoal they can be tucked away behind a plant. Anyway please 🙏🏻 for the first day or two charcoal floats, I suggest this should help you 💯% keeping it clean.. no ash but as much charcoal even rinsing it before adding to pond, even if it takes a few days to gather as much charcoal as you can.💖💖🇦🇺
If I may add my design thoughts. Put in a longer copper tubbing and then add a rain water shower head to the end. That would be very cool in my opinion
The clawfoot tub was a great idea. Love it! I'm always amazed at the ideas you and Brooke come up with. This is my absolute FAVORITE homestead channel to watch. 😊
Hope you manage to fix your water fountain. Love the bath idea and unique idea you come up with. Wooded area will get better each year it grows. Have a great week take care and God Bless. 🙏💕
You're a genius Jason. Very artistic. Can I suggest you stand the pump on something to stop dirt from the bottom getting caught in the filter. Secondly don't forget some wood or rocks so if any creatures fall in, they can climb out again. It's going to look and sound great
Love your problem solutions; but you know that fountain can be repaired with cement rock mix bro :) don't toss it!. I'm excited to see how much you guys have accomplished since moving in!
The tub made an awesome water feature. Really does add ambiance to the garden. Now all your garden needs are plants! 💖💖💖 BTW Holly got plumb wore out, planting azaleas is hard work! 💖💖💖
Greetings from Jacksonville, FL. Interesting fact....The Taber family established Glen St Mary Nurseries in the late 1800's in Baker County where I grew up as a child. Those George L Taber azaleas are Southern at its best. Jason...love your ingenuity for making the fountain out something you already had. I can imagine Brooke out there re-painting the teal color black. Even though the teal color now brings that pop of color to the protege (not sure that's how to spell the name correctly 🤔) garden. I look forward to your videos. It brings joy to my day. God Bless your family. Have a Happy Easter.
Goodness...i Love Tucker!! She's so playful and funny. Love the tub idea. Some water lilies one or two small ones and maybe put a little thin layer of pebbles in the bottom and put some underwater plants and even put a fighting fish in there LOL. I did that once in an apartment patio where I had a large flower pot and I just added rocks and sand and water plants and I put in a siamese fighting fish and that fish lived there all year except for the winter I would scoop him up and put them him in a giant bowl on my book shelf during the winter, and in Spring out he went and enjoyed the water lily plants and the beauty of the flowers and enjoyed watching him have a good old time swimming around and enjoying himself
Love the claw foot tub fountain! When we lived in Georgia we planted an Olive Tea Holly. The fragrance is wonderful. We also had a huge bed of pink and white azaleas. When they bloomed it was beautiful. There was also a farm nearby that grew a huge field of sunflowers every year. They would open that field for families to take photos in and charge for it, It was very popular. I don’t know what they charged and you probably need some good insurance. They sold the sunflowers also. Now we are in much colder zone, the olive tea hollys would have to be in planters and come in for the winter! Miss that early planting but not the fire ants! You guys have some great ideas, love your channel, I want a potager garden now.
I knocked the wing off a concrete gargoyle and my hubby repaired it with epoxy. You might need to drill a hole and put a short piece of rebar between the two for support
Jason you’re awesome, you make anything work for a good purpose. Love this vlog, we are learning from your entire family. You and Brooke are great people. I pray you get good weather, sun and rain, no tornadoes 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️🇺🇸. I love those low clouds, beautiful.
Water fountain idea. On bottom piece put two drops of paint. Set top on now you just make for 4 holes . Drill with cement drill 1/4 hole get 1/4 inch rod put in holes mix mortar, spread on bottom, set top on clean what squeeze out and let it set up. It might save the fountain
Yeah, I think you can fix it. And since it would be new concrete, you could use some concrete paint or stain it, and turn it into a newer piece for your potege garden. Maybe check on UA-cam for ways to marry new and old concrete structures. I DO like the bathtub for the garden! There's a chemical product called "Wink" that takes rust stains out of bath fixtures, if you're interested for the tub.
I would like to take a moment to praise you Jason for your neat and clean property. You and Brooke work so hard. Your animal pens, garden and your new house reflect intelligence, good design, high standards, and lots of hard work. I am really enjoying your videos.
Amen
Yes. Add me too.😅
It’s just the way they are. They are such a loving family the loves all of their animals. That means having a wonderful, healthy and clean property.🌱
That little Holly girl is a bundle of unconditional love.🐶❤
Happy Easter, Cog Hill! 🐣
As always from CA🏖️take care.
Amen!
A trellis with Jasmine growing on it would be beautiful for behind the tub.
You and Brooke are always coming up with Brilliant ideas😊
One of the hardest working couples on UA-cam. Keep up the good job kids. Love your new water feature. Can’t wait for the next video.
I appreciate Brooke and Jason's ingenuity. Such an amazing power couple.
But goldfish in the tub mosquitoes will lay eggs and fish will eat the larvae and cut down mosquitoes population.
Hey that’s a great idea
It’s time for JB Weld.
You can put koi fish also
That’s good advice 👍
With a pump installed and the constant water movement he should be alright
I love how y’all switch gears instead of stressing. 😊
Jason you fooled me I was almost upset thinking you had gotten hurt!😂😂 your water art is beautiful!
I think baby koi would be cool, somewhere to grow them before they go into the big pond.
Could you use some mortar to fix the fountain?
I would get expensive fancy goldfish they are as heady as common goldfish. You can get show quality from Kodama Koi.
Happy Wednesday! Really Jason that old claw foot tub was a great idea for a fountain feature. You did a good job fixing the faucet. The new tub fountain really fits nicely in that spot! I just love the bathtub water feature. It's trickle is just enough for a soothing relaxing sound! Can't wait to see what you add as far as water plants!
Y’all are so innovative!!! Necessity is the mother of invention! Where there’s a will, there’s a way and a way out!!
The claw foot tub gives so much charm and character to the kitchen garden! I like it a lot!!
The long view of y’all’s place is incredible. You have done so much work and accomplished so much. What a beautiful life y’all have created!❤❤❤❤❤❤
Holly is precious. Your digging and planting and she got exhausted watching you and fell asleep. You two are doing an awesome job. Love the tub, azaleas and this video was wonderful.

he had accident too.
It’s encouraging to see a gardener who understands how crucial it is to build up the soil. It’s the only way to have a successful/healthy garden. Jason, you are a great example and teacher. Kudos to you brother!
That is the sweetest thing to see Holly sleeping under the trees while you were planting the azaleas!
I thank God and smile every time I see those puppies. I am so glad you rescued them! I absolutely love your channels. You work so hard for everything you have. Have a blessed day.

I agree! Silly as it may seem, it actually brought tears to my eyes watching those two and Brooke!
I can't believe how big those precious pups are now. I also had tears in my eyes. Loved their happy flapping ears and wagging tails for momma Brooke!
Can't wait to see the water fountain when you get the plants in it. Garden is looking good. GOD BLESS Y'ALL.
My goodness the boys have grown! They are going to be big uns! Awesome job as always Jason and Miss Brooke!!!!
Alright! Lovely to see y'all! Let's keep praying all these tornados stay away!

I second that vote 🙏🙏🤚

A small town near where I live was hit early in the morning by a tornado that killed 6 people. Please keep the lost ones in your prayers

Beautiful Holly, living her BEST life! That clawfoot fountain is gorgeous.....great idea. Now you know I'll be looking for one too!
Jason I have to say that you always put a smile on my face. I love it when you get excited about your garden.
Good Morning Cog Family & Squad. I hope everyone is feeling well today. Don’t beat yourself up for a little accident, I’m with Brooke-I’m sure it can be repaired. Have a blessed day☀️
I agree Mary, Nothing a little masonry caulking/repair won't fix!
Let us know if you did repair and how. Great video of DIY!
❤What a happy accident! I am sorry about the broken water feature but what a perfect replacement. I love the faucet delivery too. Can't wait to see the water plants. It could not be more perfect. MaryCarl will inherit a gem of a farm!
I love the tub you have turned into a water plant area. What a nice conversation piece. Your garden is looking amazing.
Holly has a swimming pool for those hot summer days!
I love the way you come up with all these ideas with things you find in the barn. Looking forward to see what water plants you put in it. God Bless your family making your farm look so beautiful. Do you have plans for your bottle tree?
Bees would love the bottle tree. They also love crape myrtle and hibiscus
Love the water feature. It will look nice with flowers around it and water plants in it. You will have plenty sunflower seeds for the birds to enjoy.
Good morning Cog Hill and Cog squad ❤. Jason you are the one that will be able to fix the accident with the least amount of problems we have Fath in you. ❤to see the puppies running and playing just warms my heart. They have come so far. Thanks for saving them.❤
So sorry, Jason! I have a similar one that was my father's that the dogs knocked over, chasing a squirrel! Let me know if you figure out how to fix it!❤
I love your new hats Jason. Those onions look great. The sunflowers are going to be beautiful. Love your videos.
Your water fountain looks great. It would look good as a shower also. Love your ideas.
I loved the bathtub to fountain makeover!!!
Prayers Jason 🙂 im sorry your water fountain ⛲ got broken 🥺 ! God bless your family 🙏 and much love from Tennessee
Very productive day! Love seeing Rocky and Bandit following you around outdoors. They are precious!
So sorry about the mishap with your fountain , hopefully you can fix it and use it still. Water lettuce and water hyacinth are invasive in zone 8. Must be composed. Illegal in Sc
I voted for Hdranguas. The jasmine is fast growing and smells so good.
Red Fomosa! Yea! I love them and bees love them!! Can you get water to them?
It's just time for a new one!
Fresh and new! .. time for a new memory maker! 😊
I love the tub! Now you need some water lilies and it would be perfect🌺💞 Love you guys stay safe💖
Love the new tub fountain. 😍
And, so good to see precious little Cheese. So sweet. ❤️
The tub looks great. Maybe a black metal wall trellis behind it with some roses or clematis growing up it would look awesome.
Awesome!!
Everything in the video!!
Loved it!!
❤❤👍👍❤❤👍👍
Awesome idea with the old tub, Jason. I am still amazed at how fast Cheese is growing. Love all the plants that you & Brooke have planted.Take care & cheers 🥰
Your water feature is awesome and suits it’s location so well!
Jason sounds like a great idea for the bath, please if you don’t want to be cleaning the WF all the time then get a couple of mesh bags and add charcoal they can be tucked away behind a plant. Anyway please 🙏🏻 for the first day or two charcoal floats, I suggest this should help you 💯% keeping it clean.. no ash but as much charcoal even rinsing it before adding to pond, even if it takes a few days to gather as much charcoal as you can.💖💖🇦🇺
They do have “clean” charcoal at the pet stores for use in aquarium filters. Good idea 👍
Water. Electricity. Copper. Scary. Also if the cats jump in, can they get out?
You can put a shower and run your pump through it. Put a round shower curtain rod like was on the old tubs and have hanging plants
If I may add my design thoughts. Put in a longer copper tubbing and then add a rain water shower head to the end. That would be very cool in my opinion
Yes. That was my first thought when he showed the copper tubing. Also, the sound might be more pleasant as well.
The clawfoot tub was a great idea. Love it! I'm always amazed at the ideas you and Brooke come up with. This is my absolute FAVORITE homestead channel to watch. 😊
The tub is an awesome idea . I had one at my farm and boy did it become the center of attention. I had goldfish in mine and it worked out great 👍.
My husband said to try liquid nails for concrete to repair broken fountain.
Hope you manage to fix your water fountain. Love the bath idea and unique idea you come up with. Wooded area will get better each year it grows. Have a great week take care and God Bless. 🙏💕
I look forward to you guys and all your critters everyday !!!
You're a genius Jason. Very artistic. Can I suggest you stand the pump on something to stop dirt from the bottom getting caught in the filter. Secondly don't forget some wood or rocks so if any creatures fall in, they can climb out again. It's going to look and sound great
I totally love the new water feature. It's perfect for the kitchen garden.
Love it Jason! What a creative mind!
Love your problem solutions; but you know that fountain can be repaired with cement rock mix bro :) don't toss it!. I'm excited to see how much you guys have accomplished since moving in!
❤Mr Cog Hill you and Mrs of Course Ms Mary Carl are Fabulous 😊
Man oh man that’s what I call a very productive day!!! Yes go put your feet up and enjoy a cold beverage and listen to your fountain 😊
The tub made an awesome water feature. Really does add ambiance to the garden. Now all your garden needs are plants! 💖💖💖
BTW Holly got plumb wore out, planting azaleas is hard work! 💖💖💖
Jason and Brooke: always turning lemons into lemonade!! I'm just glad the accident wasn't a personal injury! Your property is looking spectacular!

Love the new water feature with the tub. You are so knowledgeable it is so informative ! Thanks
Oh my, I am as excited as you are about the planting!!! Can’t wait to see the azaleas in bloom. ….and the sunflowers🌻…🥰🥰🥰.hugs from Kent 🇬🇧❤️❤️❤️❤️
That looks really great the water hyacinth plant is beautiful and it just floats
The foundation is fixable. Goldfish in water features help control mosquitoes and help keep the water clean.
State wildlife organizations sometime provide Gambusia minnows to do that..
So creative, Jason thats great!
Would looking nice if Brook painted some flowers on the tub. Just love your farm doing awesome job ❤
The bees will LOVE the climbing Jasmine.
I love your ideas Jason. You are very talented.
Love the bathtub you could even put some fish in the tub
Love the claw foot tub fountain! When we lived in Georgia we planted an Olive Tea Holly. The fragrance is wonderful. We also had a huge bed of pink and white azaleas. Jason, check out OLIVE TEA HOLLY. Hope it will row in 8a
I knocked the wing off a concrete gargoyle and my hubby repaired it with epoxy. You might need to drill a hole and put a short piece of rebar between the two for support
I love y’all’s channel everything is thought out and carried through your property is so clean and beautiful just love everything about y’all ❤️❤️❤️
Jason you’re awesome, you make anything work for a good purpose. Love this vlog, we are learning from your entire family. You and Brooke are great people. I pray you get good weather, sun and rain, no tornadoes 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️🇺🇸. I love those low clouds, beautiful.
You are one talented man Jason! Looks like you’ve got it under control 🥰
Love what you done with the tub❤❤❤ excited for spring and seeing all your blooms❤❤❤
You've been busy! Prayers that the storms haven't impacted you too much. Prayers also for health and safety!🙏❤🙏
Great idea for the old tub. Just a suggestion, paint the inside a dark blue so it will look natural and not show algeal, etc.
The tub was a great idea. It looks cool.
Yeah, I think you can fix it. And since it would be new concrete, you could use some concrete paint or stain it, and turn it into a newer piece for your potege garden.
