Rachel Parris is freakin’ awesome in this episode. Her cheerfulness while reporting (accurately) the most appalling news is inimitable.

ah, the Morgan Trump interview... I was welling up even as the Donald swaggered into the room, his bulbous eyes resting on the feast prepared before he recognised an old friend and ally. The love between these two creatures was palpable as they entwined each other before resting on their prepared nesting pods, eyes daring but never wanting to leave the other's. They belched pheromones oh my god i'm making myself sick, enough of that, someone send these swamp things back to the lair from which they've slithered

Universities having trigger warnings is not about a free speech issue. Trigger warnings and the normalisation of trigger warnings should be encouraged. They're not there so that people can shut out opinions they don't want to hear. Trigger warnings exist to warn people who have experienced trauma or are _triggered_ by difficult topics such as murder, sexual assault, abuse and others. They're useful things that should be more widespread in society.

Norway may be predominately white, but my son's class in a rural Norwegian school has 2/3 of the boys who have at least one parent who is not ethnically Norwegian. Children with Pakistani, Polish, British, Croatian, Bosnian, Korean, Vietnamese and Eritrean parents attend the same class. And that's just the 12 boys. There is a spectrum of skin colour from black to white with many shades in between. Norway is changing (for the better), there is a long way to go but Nish and Co. ought to do some research before making blanket statements and reinforcing negative stereotypes.
