Okay, this video earned my sub. Been crocheting for years, but I am brand new to amigurumi. Many tutorials I have found have been hard to follow, but this one was so well done it was easy to follow and didn't make me want to pull my hair out. Thanks so much for this!
I was asked by my aunt for a crochet cow for my cousin. I looked this morning (thanks insomnia) and I'm almost done! Thank you so much for making this video and making it understandable and clear.
I'm making a HUGE cow using this pattern 15ML hook with 25ML yarn an it's turning out so cute , I did have to use ALOT of yarn but of course it's because of the size of the cow . I'm on my 4th ball of black yarn an I only gotten halfway through the body , the arms an legs took 1 ball of black yarn each with a lil bit of white at the bottoms , an the body is gonna take about 3 balls of yarn an I believe a whole ball for the head idk yet I haven't gotten to the head part yet but iknow it's gonna be the cutest BIG cow ever 😂😂 thank you so much for this pattern

i just made this cow with the tutoria i did use a 6.5mm hook and it turned out bout a foot and a half tall but i was going for a bigger plush so im happy with it this tutorial was also so easy to follow and very thorough thank you

I really love this tutorial and I feel like it has been easy to follow but once you get into the body part I’m having a really hard time following and keeping up. I realize this is a very long video already but maybe slowing down when showing the beginning of each row would make it a little easier. I’m a beginner and just starting out learning how to crochet.
@@mollieelizebeth if you are just staring out and trying this video, that’s amazing! Secondly, you can slow down the video on your end to meet your needs.
I am very new to crocheting but have done a few of your tutorials. You have made things so clear and simple that my daughters believe me to be a wizard of crochet now 😂 My youngest has claimed this one naming her Betty and is taking her into school tomorrow to show her teacher. I really have to work on my tension on the plush toys. But hopefully will get the hang of things soon. Thank you so much for all of your time, effort and pure dedication to helping those of us that want to learn but feel completely lost x

Love this tutorial, thank you so much. Luckily I had a black and white yarn ball and the first thing I thought of making is cow and after following your tutorial it came out as the most adorable thing I've ever crocheted much love❤
Today I will try to crochet this cow!! I’ll come back to this comment later when I’m done. I’m using hobby lobby yarn in colors off white, white, pink, and black. I’m also using a 10mm hook. Hii!! I’m almost done and checking back in. The body only took 1 ball of white yarn and 1 ball of black yarn (so far) But, I did have to make both ears black because I only had a little bit leftover. I still love it though! I will come back in about 30 minutes after it’s completely done. Okkkk ik that it’s been a while since I checked up- but it turned out so well and VERY cute! I recommend this pattern
Well, I have undone it multiple times but I'm like 4 or 3 extra stitching. On the legs body and head. It looks okay so far. Working on the head and will update when I'm done
Neck would stay stiff if you stuff the body well and keep the head on the lighter side. if you feel the need to stuff it with something then you could insert a few earbuds in the neck area. Hope this helps. i didn’t insert anything and the neck of my cow is perfectly strong. xx Hope you enjoy making this as much as i did ❤️❤️
Thanks for this! It looks like your hook says 5.5mm, but you mention using a 5.0mm hook. Can you confirm which you used? I make this, but he turned out longer and skinnier. Still looks good, but I'm wandering if the 5.0 hook caused that, or if it's just my tension.
Question, if im using a smaller yarn, theoretically could i just double everything so that way it doesnt end up a tiny cow? (Ex: in R1, do 12sc instead of 6?)
This cow is 30cm in size. If you would like it to be bigger than that you could double up the yarn and use 6mm crochet hook with it. xx Hope this helps.
I have to laugh. I'm left handed. When I got to the patches I realized it turned out backwards. My top patch is on the right and the bottom patch is on the the left. I was able to make adjustments for placing the arms and such. It was fun and I did finish it. very cute! Thank you!

I think your designs are cute, but I have to keep reminding myself not to click on your videos because you don’t offer any ad free patterns that are free for people to use and then you only sell the patterns. And when people are crochet, they can’t afford all these different patterns to test out to try to see if they can do them. It would be really handy if you would just, give a pattern with the video. It might encourage loyalty and it would certainly make both of us feel better who keep mistakenly clicking on your videos only to find time and time again you’re just trying to sell the pattern.

Unfortunately it doesn’t work like that. you could double or triple up the yarn and use relevant hook size but the pattern can’t be doubled.
can i do this without the fluffy yarn?
You certainly can but this cow will be of a different size. would love to see the comepleted cow when you are done.😊
