I have both and love both. For all day and work use the Bose are great. The BO are perfect for when you want to listen to music and you want to enjoy yourself.
Great video as always. Not correct that EXs don’t have voice assistant though. 3 taps on right earbud summon Siri etc. I’ve had mine for almost a year and use them every day!

I sold my Bose QC v1's and replaced them with the ex's so now have the ex and the momentum tw3's. I LOVE them, the ex sound quality is brilliant and the bass is very surprising, I thought they would have a flatter curve to their sound. I ended up using the strange but effective eq and moving the dot slightly in-between 2 and 3 o'clock and the sound is fantastic. Better IMO than the superb tw3's. Just an FYI the ex's do have voice assistant.
I think my unit is faulty. It would not take any voice command. I thought they did not exist till a few people commented on this.
I am planning to buy EX - but I have Samsung Buds 2 Pro that has 24 Bit & I do have many FLAC music files that have 24 Bit Hi-Fi sound.
So, what would be your opinion - should I go with EX and dump Buds 2 Pro? Would you kindly advise.

B&O EX Build Quality 💪
Thank you for this video. I finally bought the Beoplay EX (Anthracite Oxygen) and their quality sound is simply superb! I am loving them so much. I only had to set the app equalizer in order to increase the bass, because I found it too weak on the original setup. Like you said, they can be recommended to any audiophile. I’m only having some issues with the voice command. I have an iPhone and when I activate the voice command through the earphones, the phone tries to open the B&O app. I asked the B&O assistance about it. Does that happen to you too?
my problem is even worse. It wont even summon the phone's voice assistant at all let alone open the wrong app. At first I thought this feature is unavailable on the EX till someone pointed out that they actually support voice commands
@@TechKnowBiz Yes, they do support voice command. If I triple press the touch field on the right, Siri opens up (I have an iPhone). I guess that on an Android phone Google Assistant would open up. I thought they had their own voice command system, but it seems they only work with Siri or Google Assistant.
@TechKnowBiz love your videos. Have subscribed. Its awesome you had also mentioned about the Beoplay Ex working great with Tool and Porcupine Tree. What EQ setting do you recommend for this? Love Opeth as well and trying to find the optimal balance. Will get the new set in a few days!
I purchased both of these. Bose first then b and o. I was looking for better sound quality, being a Bose guy for a long time I thought I could do better. I figured the difference in noise cancellation would be offset by the much better B and O ex. I was wrong. The ex has absolutely No noise canceling at all. Sound was great but you must be in a very quiet environment to appreciate them. I returned them after about 5 minutes of listening. Also be aware that the B and O ex have to be almost at full volume to hear details. I believe I tested them at 90%.
I really wanted to love these earbuds and maybe in future gens they will fix the noise cancellation issues but I’m not a believer in this first generation.
Anyone who is up in the air about which one is better, it’s up to your personal needs and preferences. I’m sticking with my qc II earbuds. And no I’m no a spokesperson for Bose,
I have experienced the same as well with the volume level. Its not just the BnO earbuds, you will get that across all their other headphones as well, I have the H95 as well and I also think the volume is quite low. I have them always at 100% volume level otherwise its just not enough
Bro I hear everything on 30% level volume on Beoplay. Clear your ears

What's wrong with your hearing and what you are listening to, because EX beats almost every competitor compared to the quality of the sound. Noise cancellation I agree it's really bad, but sound is superb
@@Nitruchaif you fully read my comment, I clearly stated that the sound was really good. However I have a problem with the limited volume and non existent nc. I’m a firm believer of trying different brands and having an open mind, so don’t really take my comment to heart if you love them. I was simply stating my honest opinion and there are many others that have said the same things I do.
I honestly will give them another chance if they make major improvements in volume and noise cancellation.
Great video. The beoplay is excellent, not quite at audiophile level, but it's suitable for a wireless earbud. I have no problem with noise canceling whatsoever.

@@francescoricciardo8645 The EX is the best regarding sound quality and comfort (IMO). I also have the Sony IER-Z1R, and the sound is much better, but they are not wireless and uncomfortable over long periods. Hope this helps.

why is the mic quality worse than airpods pro 2nd gen 😐 that is not what is suppose to be when airpods pro 2nd gen so much cheaper than beoplay ex...
Hey yeah they are perfect but the bang and olufsen support are a perfect as...ho... i have my earphones there for the warranty as they were damaged for the last 7 weeks and still nothing, getting default messages with always the same answer but no resolution and a lot of people are in the same situation waiting for the last 3 months to have a replacement under their warranty. Piece of advice you can be lucky and not need them but if you need support from them. You are not going to be happy. Dont buy from them
I think I'm an extreme outlier her. I bought the EX and I hate them. I don't think they sound good at all. Plus I can hear everything around me unless I blast the music.
Completely disagreed with this review. The Beoplay EX is one of, if not, the worst earbuds on the market. Overpriced. Underperformed. I have the Bose Comfort Quiet and other earbuds that deliver better sound quality, fit, and connectivity. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON B&O. It's all hype.
Which earbuds sound better than Beoplay EX . I thought they sounded a bit muffled in certain songs in comparison to Jabra 75t.

I have never owned the Bose, and have had plenty call issues with the Bro play EX. However, sound quality is amazing.
