Hi,Ksenya! Thank you for so detailed videos! However I still have a brief question: I am a petitioning sponsor using a joint sponsor. Should both our spouses submit I 864 A just because each of our households filling taxes together? Thank you in advance!
Should I include my income as an additional datapoint if my wife makes about 3x the required income (but she made 2x and 1.5x in the years before that)? Especially because the income and assets we mention on i-485 are a combined total of hers and mine
so my husband (petitioner) must fill out I-864, and his sister (joint sponsor) must fill out I-864. If she files taxes with her husband together, he can fill out I-864A and if they do it separate, then she'd be the only one we can use right?

I am preparing all of the forms for my dad. I am a citizen and so is my husband. I don’t work but husband does and we file taxes jointly. So is he the joint sponsor? Or I don’t need a joint sponsor because we both are listed on the tax form and the income is ours not just his?
Hi Kseniya ! With the help of your videos, i have submitted green card packet already and now im being requested I-864. Though not sure if my Sponsors ( wife) income is actually enough for sponsorship, and me being principal immigrant, i make enough money, but dont have social number assigned yet, so my assets and income cant be added to it ? I wanted to see if i upload some proof of my income , bank account statements, ownership of assets would actually help in this case ?
Kseniya. I will be filing for Form I-485 only as a K1 visa holder. I am the sole beneficiary, and my spouse provides me with all of his income from his job, and his salary exceeds the poverty line. I would like to know which support affidavit form I should use?. I hope you will make a detailed video for filling out the new edition of Form I-485. I am confused. Can someone help me -if child filing I-485 are they exempt from I-864 if stepfather ( same as petitioner ) is citizen ? Or need to be just biological or adoption father ?

Hi kseniya, I have a question regarding my wife’s that was approved via I-130 form, and I want to fill out the I-864 form knowing that I"m a us cirizen before I got married and I have two children. Can I fill out I-864 for my wife only, knowing that my annual income is not enough to support three people, and that my children have the right to enter America since they have an American passport without including my children in my annual income? I864A is a contract between sponsor (WIFE) and household member (BROTHER). Your wife is your sponsor!

I have an F4 visa case with a Priority Date of July 2003, and a Documentarily Qualified (DQ) date of December 2023. My case is now complete, and the Affidavit of Support has also been completed. I have now opened the case for my 2 sons. Please kindly let me know if, when the Affidavit of Support for my 2 sons is required, a new Affidavit will also be required for me in 2024. I had hired an agent in New York, and they informed me that a new Affidavit for me will be required along with my 2 sons'.
Please kindly confirm this. I am very worried.

It is not clear that if I am eligible (40 ssn credit) for I-864W as a beneficially (i.e. immigrant) whether the sponsor (i.e. petitioner) still has to file I-864? Please note that the petitioner is a student and doesn't have enough income to support. in other words should we file both I-864W (immigrant) and I-864(petitioner)?

Please help me clarify; my daughter is the petitioner born in the states but doesn’t make enough income. I have earned the 40 credits but my wife has 25 credits and she is unemployed. Can we both turn in the I864W form?

What can I do if my daughter is the US citizen asking for me ( the foreigner father living outside the US ) and she doesn't reach the 25k a year because she is a college student with a part time job?
Hi, first of all, your daughter has to be over 21 years old, then if she doesn't reach the 125% of the poverty line for current year, you have to find a Joint Sponsor whose income has to be more than 125% of the poverty line but not for himself, is neccesary to take into account his household for exemple if is married or have childrens
my i-130 filed on last feb and is still stucked on USCIS, is it normally take this long for a USC to get with spouse? almost 2 years of wait time and is still not being reviewed.
