    Have you tried one of those misters they use on plants that you pump with a plunger on the top? I find it so much easier than the hand spray. I don’t use one with a separate wand. It’s all one piece with a thumb trigger on top for spraying. It’s a dream to use over the hand sprayer IMO.

    Good to see a bigger breeder using a rack system... I've caught flak for it cause I've done it for years with snakes and thought it was a great idea for babies also cause lids are a pain

      Snakes thrive in racks, I had a ball/royal python she would eat a lot better in a rack than a tank. I had to feed her gerbils for a while until I bought a rack, she was calmer too.

      Also I thought the pangea needed to be in dark container? Light depleats the vitamins and stuff? Just what I've heard

      You are right a dark container is best for long term storage. Over the course of a few weeks however it wouldn't make any difference.

    I do the same thing when my white tree frogs bite me...it doesn't hurt at all but I still jump about a mile! Lol 😂

      It depends on what is in your tap water, but in the majority of places yes it is perfectly safe.

    Thx for the video. How often do you really feed? And really change the paper towels etc? Not how often sould you... how often do you actually do it. 1000x babies is a lot to care for. I have 150.

      The babies get fed 3x per week and cleaned on an as needed basis while the feeding is done. I have one employee who works here and does a bunch of the cleaning and feeding with me.

    When do we know the crested gecko is ready to be moved to a bigger enclosure ?
    I just got a 3 month old and have 18×18×24 reafy for it but im scared of moving it too soon into it. Rigth now i have it in a similar container to what was shown in this video.

    Great video Brian, I have always been curious about your methods and setup. So nice to see how you manage the process. Thanks for sharing.
    I have raised a whole bunch of Leos this year (for the first time), I have been amazed at the variety of colours, markings and personalities they all have from the very start (both parents are just the normal non morph colouration). I agree with you it is fascinating and satisfying watching them grow and develop.

    For this type of setup, can baby gargoyle geckos be kept like this as well? I thought they need something rough like cork bark to rub up against to when they go into shed

      The more research I do the less I am inclined to believe products like ReptiSafe Water conditioner are necessary.

      @RyGuy125 distilled takes all of the micronutrients from the water. If you're unsure about your tap, just use bottled spring water or get a water filter like brita, that's what I do.

    With the insulation pipe stuff, I was always told to cut it like a sub roll just in case because geckos can sometimes get stuck if they try to turn around even though they can just walk straight out the otherside, I feel this would be an issue with bigger adults

      I soak the food dishes in hot water with dish soap, then run them through the washing machine with bleach.

    I’ve been trying every local and non local areas and I can’t find any crested geckos, what would be the best and safest way to go about finding one?

      If you can look for reptile expos in your state/country, you may be able to see when the next time they visit will be. When I got my first leopard gecko I had to wait a month for the expo to come to a city 45 minutes away from me so I could buy him from a breeder instead of going to petsmart.

      Thats another set of racks behind this one. We keep the whole baby room around 76-77 degrees.
