It's almost criminal that you do not have more followers (yet). Best regards from a LEO in another part of the world ;)
I appreciate the kind words. If you build it, they will come.
Absolutely love the content. Dude. Keep it up. Deserve more subscribers
Content is slowing down while my busyness increases haha.
Beautiful kit my brother in Arms, Blessings and love to you and your family.
Thank you kindly. Stay safe.
Props for knowing how to sew. It's such an under-appreciated skill nowadays.
Yeah and I’m not even that good at it. Lol
Big fan of your content and products. Its clear you put a lot of thought into your gear. I have a JPC too but I use the Crye AVS front flap with bungie retention. I like that it collapses down flat when its empty. Its also compatible BFG TSP pouches. Like you said, extra mags are not always necessary and being able to collapse the placard and reduce bulk when you're not utilizing the space is a nice feature. The only downside is dealing with the bungie retention when trying to speed reload and re-insert, but I don't find that entire realistic especially when I have a fast mag on my belt.
Yeah def agree. Being able to put a magazine back quickly is less of a priority, due to a few things. Be safe.
Opinion on strobe for weapon lights?
I always disable any strobe features. I don’t want any of my lights to strobe. If I want it to flash on and off I’ll just squeeze the pressure switch as such. And that’s only for blue on blue or other signaling uses.
I am currently running an MKV with the CCS pouch on the front. After some time it got way too bulky for me.. You gave me some good ideas to get rid of the ccs pouch and throw a 5.56 with a double pistol ten speed pouch on the front ( for multitool and maybe a knife or a flashlight). Plus I am going to grab a Micro Fight Hi-Top Half Zipper Insert for my MKV as well!
Hope it works out. Always here to help square away kit.
Hey brotha! Great video!! I'm new to LEO, only a year in, looking to join my departments SRT team in the future.. would you make a video about working out as LEO, some basic intro exercises and some that could also help with SRT try outs and staying physically fit? Thanks! I absolutely love your channel and the small community vibe! keep the videos up!
Hey check out my video on trying out for swat. As far as a fitness program, I personally did a lot of cardio, and weight training focusing on body weight but also lifting the main groups. There are a lot of programs out there, I wouldn’t stress it or try to reinvent the wheel.
Nice setup man !
Thanks, appreciate the support.
Good stuff. As a law abiding New York civilian, I "cannot own" (as far as I know) body armor. I've recently been doing research on setting up a chest rig and am going back and forth between setting up a plate carrier (without plates for now) or getting a chest rig and setting that up. I currently do not own either. My rifle has "features" and a fixed magazine, I just train with the MeanArms speed loaders, So those would go where you would normally carry rifle mags. It's hard to tell from a distance, but beautiful submariner.
I think there are some work around. Look at NRA instructors, being able to have it, as well as firefighters, may apply to volunteer also.
@@SoileaterYT I need to do some more research, because I also know that FFL owners can have all kinds of things that us regular civilians cannot. I don't know if it has to do with the FFL or something else.
Love from italy! Quick question , Where do you place the taser? or if in case you had to change the setup where would you put it on the plate carrier?
Check out our T10 insert, I would carry the taser in the chest rig. Or on my belt. Hope that helps.
Miss you, pal. Life happens, we get it, just wishing you the best--hope you're hanging in there. Can't help but rewatch these old gems of yours.
Appreciate it, work has been crazy busy at the moment. And the dad life when I get home. I’ll try to get more videos out soon.
@@SoileaterYT Ahh yeah, that sounds about right. Post notifications are on-I know I’ll be here whenever you get back around to it. You keep hanging in there, boss man!
Hello! I’ve recently joined an SRT team and curious how you keep your shotgun. I’ve watched your video regarding the magnet on your plate carrier and wondering how it works for you and other setups you have tried. Thanks!
I used to have the hard one from I think Blackhawk, but for me the magnet system with the 220 lbs magnet I use works very well. Stay tuned this year for a Soileater solution.
Moms tattoo 😂😂
Gave me a good laugh ^^
Every time lol
Spark plugs on 550 cord? I’ve heard of using spark plugs to break windows, but what’s the 550 cord used for?
It has a knot at each side, and has 3-4 of the ceramic from the spark plugs on it.
Can you do a close up of the placards on both of your plate carriers? Thanks
Send me a message on Instagram and I’ll take you a picture
Might have missed it, but are you running the Crye Soft armor inserts on the sides?
Yeah the long crye soft armor sides and their pouches.
What is the baseplate on the bottom of the rifle magazine? Thanks man I enjoy the videos
CTT made them years ago, then tango down made them for them. Haven’t seen them available in a few years.
Can you give me a link of this plate carrier?
Google JPC 2.0
@@SoileaterYT Its a crye precision?
@@daio4674 yes. crye precision jpc 2.0
What radio holster are you running and is that the stock cummerbund?
Stock cummerbund, and the crye radio pouches in this rig. My other rig I made myself some
I work in security, would you recommend this plate carrier?
If you need rifle rated protection yes.
Looks like a 3x10 identifier on the rear
Average right? Right?
@@SoileaterYTthe 3" is pretty normal (at least thats what I tell myself)
What are you running for side armor?
The crye soft armor and pouches for the JPC
Can u do more plain clothes duty type of content !
Possibly, I try not to go over too much specific to plain clothes on an open form like UA-cam. What would you like to see more of specifically?
Any body armor carriers you recommend? My department issues point blank armor
Armor as is plates or soft armor?
@@SoileaterYT soft armor, point blank specifically
I don’t have any recommendations on soft armor carriers unfortunately
Do you have a safe life vest
I do not.
I love your setup
whats inside ur roll 1?
Subscribe to our OF to find out! Jk, there is 2xquickclot, a pressure dressing, decompression needle, Hydin seal two pack, NPA.
@@SoileaterYT interesting, thank you! never stop making these cringe jokes, half the reason why i watch your videos :)
Trex arms also has a system you can get for chest rigs to be secured on your PC.
I try to stick to the original companies who make stuff. But that is good to know. Thank you.
Your eye... oops lol
Great. Now you are in my comments cyber bullying me. When will the abuse stop. 😘
Blink if you need help from your wife you can live with me
Haha good luck
Bro are you serious about your wife? Blink twice in the next video
