Thoroughly enjoyed this episode. Always had a curiosity about Ash's trans experience so it's an unexpected welcome surprise to learn about his transition through no chaser podcast. Great job!
48:45 what I think Rick was trying to say is that society does not give men the same grace of trying to be understood compared to when it is a women. A possibility is because there is a societal expectation of stoicism imposed on men, so when some men do communicate their feelings, sometimes they're thought of as "soft, too emotional, weak" rather than trying to be understood. Incredible perspective Rick! ❤️
Been a DelaGhetto fan since like 2008 & I really appreciate how honest & refreshing this discussion on individuality, communication, and gender norms was. It's important to just be you. And that was the first Saltburn review I've heard that makes me want to finally watch it lol.
I completely get why men just lift up their hands (with their women) and just say, "You're right." but it's really demeaning. There are definitely women who just love to argue, but some of us just want you to get where we're coming from. It's dismissive, and that's not cool.
It's not, your thinking for the guy instead of trying to understand him, yet you want to be understood. Men think in logic if we threw up our hands we already know going forward if we say the wrong thing another argument starts, we already understand at that point.
Damn dude! You’ve grown so much and changed in a good way. Good to see you doing well. To think I randomly saw you in a club in downtown Orlando back in 2012 lmao
wow. I give *change* and not a solid bill to a distressed woman with her daughter and This comes as the result of that. 😮💨 this strange mentality. the devil's aura is strong.
ok so the title is probably clickbait and i havent watched the whole episode BUT im jw....cant we all just agree that we both suffer in different ways? no one is a winner at the suffer olympics? lol
