- Spooky season is right around the corner, let's carve a raven to celebrate! What should the next spooky carving be? This was a first for me, I will definitely be carving more ravens and/or crows, was definitely a fun little quick carve!

It's such a light and jumpy saw, don't know what I would do without it though! That saw and bar set up has replaced about 70% of the hand tool work - game changing!

Haha yah my flooring video literally carries this channel 😂 I started as another wanna-be DIY channel, then decided to try chainsaw carving, now here we are!

Im booked out for customer ordered for the rest of 2023, but I will have some smaller inventory available around Christmas time! I just don’t exactly have a great set up for winter carving, never mind winter carving in Maine lol! So I won’t be taking orders over the winter, just going to do use on building inventory since I have none, but will start taking custom orders again this spring! I don’t have a waiting list, but feel free to email me your ideas and I’ll just get you on the schedule for spring :)
You should put a cannon bar on ure stihl and put some wraps on ure saw handles way more comfortable
I have a 12” dime and a 14” quarter cannon for my 170 that’s converted over to 1/4 pitch…my other 170 I just run the 16” stock on. But weirdly enough I prefer the 12” arborist mini roller, love that set up!

Excellent stuff Tay! once again! Been working on a plague doctor mask myself for spooky season, just needs more sanding and the black paint. will obviously be rolling out the pumpkins to!

Oh I LOVE it! That saw and bar combo has replaced about 70% or more of my hand tool work. The saw is so light that’s it’s a bit jumpy…but since it’s do light it’s easy to correct and control! Best purchase yet!
Damn you Tay! you're tempting me now!! :) just the price is putting me off at the moment, and i want to but a 70cc chainsaw with a 24 inch bar! @@TayMarie23
It’s definitely not cheap haha! Find a local dealer and offer cash with no bar, you might be surprised how much they come down! Cash is king and you don’t need a bar if you plan to put a dime tip on it anyway! I’m not going to lie, that saw is the bees knees! 😂 If you were closer I would so let you give it a try!
What wood do you carve the most
This carving was white cedar but 90% of the time it’s eastern white pine 🌲

Ravens are intelligent Birds, do you know that Ravens really can learn to speak like an Parrot? :)
I believe it! They have the intelligence of 7 year olds! I have watched some crazy documentary’s on them! We have a few that hang out and let you get pretty close, magical birds!
