We just traded our 2024 equinox rs for a 2025 equinox rs , and what a difference it has good acceleration turning radius is way better seats are more comfortable overall it is like a completely different vehicle highly recommend people to try driving one to see
Bro, a lot of hate for a Basic Equinox... why don't you guys give some hate to those Basic foreign cars? The 2025 Equinox is better than every Overrated Foreign car in its class, I don't care what the magazines say. I like the new Equinox vs the older version.
I do like the updates minus the carryover engine. But honestly Chevy not offering a hybrid for this model is a huge miss. I have driven ICE vehicles all my life, but am willing to consider a hybrid. I think a lot of people are not ready for full EV yet, but hybrids and PHEVs could bridge the gap and eventually lead to more full EV buyers down the road.
The lag when he floored it 😂😂 back in the day chevy had 2 engine options on the equinox they should bring the 2.0t engine back n it would be the one too get
Not sure where this huge need for power is coming from with people these days? I've got a 2021 Subaru Crosstrek with 150hp and the car does just fine. I'm not out drag racing it on weekends....
I also wish the Xtrek had the 2.4L turbo as an option. Would be so fun. It’s not that it needs it, just that it would be fun to have the option if you wanted a more engaging driving experience
@@BachmanAutoGroupLouisville That's why my sister went with the Outback Wilderness, standard 2.4T. She actually doesn't even drive that fast, but we both agreed the turbo engine felt way more effortless and quiet, keeping the RPMs much lower and muffling the exhaust. Feels very refined. Quite expensive tho!
I have an equinox 2018 2.0T 9 speed automatic and Chevrolet stopped making the 2.0T because it was very expensive and sales were showing that nobody was buying them. I paid $40,000 including tax back then. The ltg engine alone cost $6,000. I thought for another $10,000 I could've gotten the Cadillac XT5.
Whoa! 40k for an equinox?? I just bought a 2021 LT with 60k miles on it for 14,500. I bought it from a family member so I know its history. Runs perfect and in mint condition (old dude owned it). I cant believe how GM car values plummet so fast!! I mean, I have a 2012 Toyota 4 runner that is still worth 25k after 12 years! I bought it brand new for 34k.
I love my 2019 2.0T Premier. The only thing that’s gone out on it is the power liftgate struts. I bought it in 2022 for $23k but the window sticker was $41k when new.
Just test drove one, but the feeling was a bit bouncy, I was getting Kia sportage vides from it. I like something better spung and more power I guess. It felt small, and I do like bigger cars but really need to downsize. I will try a Rav4 to get a feel of it.
To me, they put lipstick on a pig. The style is great. I have a 2024 LT, and the new one looks much better. They took away the 6 speed transmission in favor of a CVT. They took away the driver power seat and power tailgate as standard with the LT. Basically, they made the 2025 LT comparable to the 2024 LS. The all wheel drive is different in that they give you a real transmission, 8 speed
What baffles me is when people talk about speed, and torque, and 0-60, and all this other stuff on a car that is 100% a grocery getter/soccer mom van/old man car! The gas mileage is AMAZING on these cars, and that because its got a baby engine! You want some exciting driving, get the BMW X3 or the Porsche Macon. lol
Sorry to those hating it just traded my 2022 in for a 2025. Sits higher, i love it so far!!

7:05 - Nice to see it has Auto Hold... and also the very useful Paddle Shifters

Very true

😂😂
The one miss is they didn't refresh the engine. :( Lowest power and lowest fuel economy in class.
I know. Super unfortunate. Feels like they’re pushing the EV harder

@@BachmanAutoGroupLouisville 260 horsepower in a Crosstrek won't ever happen, seeing as that's WRX territory. But it sure will move the Outback along

The wheels look great on this trim. Wish the front weren't so blocky/trucky.
Does the suspension feel less stiff than the previous generation?
I can’t decide if it’s a downsized Blazer or an upsized Trax/TrailBlazer.

They need to test drive an RS and or a Activ version. They also need more engine options like a plug in, its offered in China on the new Equinox.
I will be when we have one available but the engine doesn’t change
Thanks!

Is power folding available for the next models?
Side mirrors? No power folding option
GM is doing great …!
If the Eqiunox EV had the same look and design as the 2025 I get it.
To each their own I guess

A Honda HRV or Mazda CX-5 would last twice as long. Even though the HRV can't get out of it's own way the 2.0 is ultra reliable.
I think the update looks ready done well.
should be 29000 instead , maybe they'll run incentives
Surely
That 1.5 just doesn’t cut it, under powered and it will not last.🙁
You all need to test drive the 1.5, it is not under powered.
Big miss
Pass
Those ecotec engines are trash..... My friend has a 23 trailblazer and at 14k miles is already burning oil......they said it is normal??
Disappointed 😞. Is all I'm gonna say about this version of the equinox
$35k. For a 1.5l. no way in hell👎
And the cheaper fwd model has a cvt trans.....shame chevy shame...
Destined for rental and government pool car fleets
😔😔
Definitely should of had a upgrade engine choice
Agreed
Big downgrade - hate it.
Meh!
Yeah pretty much 😅
등급이 낮은건가? 디게 싼마이 느낌인데
