Very helpful. Two questions 1) do acetylcholinesterase inhibitors help LEMS if ach is not passing the neuromuscular junction 2) isn’t there also non-tumor LEMS?

So I'm currently going through diagnosis for MG, but I was also recently diagnosed with POTS (at the same time the other symptoms started, weakness, shortness of breath) . They told me I was negative for MG antibodies, are antibodies for LEMS different? Thank you.

Yes! The antibodies of MG are not the same as the ones for LEMS.
