I love that you dabbled in a lot of different mediums; your clay is always inspirational, Ms. Gail! I also love that you just roll out your clay with the acrylic roller, instead of going through the pasta machine all the time. Thanks for sharing another great technique!
Thank you! 😁 I just love experimenting, so I do it while filming-its so much more fun like that. Yeah I have a pasta machine, but I prefer my rollers 😁
Such a pretty result! 🌸😊. I’ve recently tried foil transfers on polymer clay, and I also found that after baking the foil loses its iridescent/ holographic quality… ☹️ I’m not sure if it would work well with stamps & raised bits of clay, but I’ve found that applying the foil (on flat clay) after baking the clay really preserves the foil colour. I use the same adhesive that comes with gold and silver leaf to stick the foil to the clay. The foiled areas may be a little tacky afterwards, but I coat them with a layer of UV resin and they turn out beautifully. 😊💖
I think that it turned out pretty, but I'm glad that you show that everything doesn't turn out like you would want it to, I have made so many things and then squash it. I love your channel. Thanks and God bless 🙏
Oh my gosh Gail I feel so bad for you guys over there!! I watch a few different UA-camrs that are across the pond, and they were saying that most Brits don't even have AC's because it's never hot enough to need them! I honestly would die without cold air in the summer! I hope it cools off for you soon! Also, the pot is beautiful as always! 💜
No we don't have AC, where I work does and thats great, but my home is regularly 30 degrees celcius at the mo- especially in my studio with all the the filming lights! Nightmare! It's cooling off - nice breeze today 😁
Ya it’s hard to try and figure out when to add a foil to clay, I know on my nails it would react crazy with standard nail polish as well as UV nail polish, they both would dull, but just putting it on it’s pretty for a day and then starts to peel off. 😩🤷♀️ so it seemed to be a no win situation. But even with the shinny flowers and the even though smudged look, it turned out beautiful. 😀 Tfs hugs
I LOVE that your channel is not all jewelry. You can only make so much jewelry. 🤷🏼♀️
Haha thanks. I always wondered if I should follow the crowd, but there is so many more things you can do with polymer clay! 😁
@@GailJonesPolymerClay It's a breath of fresh air to see the different ideas!!! ❤️

What a fantastic idea -yes it does lose the holographic look! So im going to try that! 😁
Thanks tons! ❤
It's still looks great and I am glad you put the silver over the pink ones.👍🌹
Thanks Judi! More practice needed but will feature some more in future videos 😁

Thanks Robin, yeah I like to show what goes wrong so that no one else does it, or if I master it how I get round the difficult bits 🤣
It’s fantastic. I love it.
Yeah this was one of my favourites! 😁
just awesome thanks for sharing
have a great week!
Thank you Magie 😁

@@GailJonesPolymerClay thats good to hear! It's crazy that it got so hot! Hopefully it doesn't get that way again for you!
This turned out really great Gail! I'm going to give this a go. Did you do anymore testing with the foils? PS: love your bracelet!
Thank you Ellie! Yeah doing alot of testing behind the scenes - I've got a few more ideas for future videos 😁

I'm going to work on it & try some more see if I can master it in my next video 😁
