I'm a local to the Phoenix area. Been riding this area for 25 plus yrs. Those are my 3 favorites currently as well.
Geronimo is partially closed now down by the boyscout camp area.

HTA has plans in conjunction with Tonto forest to build a few more trails, in the next year. the map of proposed additions looks promising.. maricopa madness may be extended 2 MORE miles, and there will be a couple more connections to the range/lower flow areas. then again, Boulderdash is one of the best, and it's only been open for 6 months! come back and ride it!

Just recently move close to south mountain. Closer to the 35th Ave there’s a trail the mahahauk perimeter trail. According to Trailforks is a easy / intermediate trail. As a beginner mtb rider would like to start on this trail. Suggestions appreciated.
I haven't ridden much beginner stuff in Phoenix. I don't live there, just visit in the winter! Any trail rated green should be good!

bring full suspension, all the gears you can find, and a partner if you have one! these are enduro freindly trails!
