- This video is not sponsored. I purchased these boots with my own money. That said I would love to work with Vivo if the opportunity arises.

I was looking for reviews on barefoot shoes by women and they are far and few. Thanks for the review!
Great review! I cannot go back to my "normal shoes" either. I own four pair of Vivo shoes and I love them. I use my Gobi II for walking in the trails in winter, I live in Canada; they are warm, have excellent traction and are super comfortable.
You GO girl!!What a trooper;adapt and overcome,no complaining. A girl after my own heart-where are y’all??
Thanks for showing both colour options and commenting on usability. I'm fluctuating between choosing the Gobi Hi and the Fulham
vivobarefoot changed my life! great review!
I can't wait until these are back in stock. My feet are hurting more and more lately. It might be from switching back and forth from Xero Prio’s for running, Xero Genesis Sandals for causal and then my brown RM’s for work (I believe it's the RM’s hurting my feet). I think I can pull off the Black Gobis for work with chinos and a collared shirt. Thank you for sharing your experience, I loved the story and the accent 😁
You can get some red shoe polish..and you can give a few coats...I bought a pair of Allen Edmonds and they were orange...so I got some Allen Edmonds shoe polish and you can tweak the color a bit.
Have you seen they now have gobi 4? I really wonder what they changed about them. I have gobi hi 2 myself, which are comfortable but a little clunky and not very ladylike (fine for walking the dog, not so much for parading..)
I haven’t looked at the new Gobi 4 so I don’t know much about them. I know the Gobi 3 (black) were a bit more narrow than the 2 (brown)
I have the black ones since last winter and I love them!
Are they water resist?
Waterproof?
Ahoj, Díky moc za tohle video, přemýšlela jsem o pořízení, ale nebyla jsem si jistá :D
Hi
Did your boots make a screatching spund when walking? Unsure if it would stop with wearing
Sound is very annoying
Hi, I'm a barista by profession and I was wondering if you think these start hurting the feet after 8 hours of standing and not much moving around? Are they more for walking ?
I think in general most feet hurt when standing around on concrete. I worked as a barista in the past and I would probably wear barefoot shoes for that job now if possible.
What do you mean we have bad return policy in the CR? is there something better than being able to send shoes worn indoors Back? 😅 I even managed to send Back some pairs worn outside after a bit of cleaning ( not to proud of doing that).
If you buy online, yes. But if you have any kind of reclamation issues....
Nice pistol squat 👌
I agree with you about working with or for vivo, what an amazing company. Their shoes and vision are spot on. I've had some issues with quality on my first pair, but the ground feel and comfort is just too good so I'll keeping buying them. :)
Sadly, I have only bad experiences with the Vivo and even worse with their sellers here in Czechia. Four times, I am an idiot. Now I am wearing Merrel barefoot and they are lasting more than double time for half a price.
How are these on wet surfaces?
Not bad unless your running on wet grass.
Those are awesome .. just can’t find them lol
It's kind of addictive isn't it, those barefoot shoes? 😅
I can see you have chosen the wintery Hi version of the Gobis. My choice was the normal low version, I wear that version all-year-around for simplicity, but I have acquired several pairs from various sources and both mens/womens (the lady version being narrower in the front). So I can still experiment with different insoles and sock thicknesses and that makes me happy. :) Don't look down at the colour of your browns, wear them to bits while getting nice memories! :) (it will probably take quite a long time to destroy them)
Just can't stop thinking about all the benefits that barefoot shoes brought to my life. :D They improve walking, biking, even car driving (really smooth control of the pedals because of the more direct feel). Yikes! - I would probably die in normal shoes now!
love your review.
I personally can´t wear barefoot because its hard for me to walk in them many kilometres, althrought I love the space for my real feet shape.
buy barefoot shoes anyway, with a little thicker sole. Wear them only occasionaly and then start increasing the frequency. Your feet will start loving them and you'll never want anything else
@@pav85rez I do that, slowly, and it never happened. I am a waitress and runner and walk a lot even in a free time so my feet are very stressed and need support
I love everything about barefoot shoes except the barefoot part.
So I size up and put a nice thick insole inside for underfoot cushioning.
impressive one legged squat...thingy
Nice, just watch out for Mr. barbed wire when you venture out of the city :o
