I'm not buying the foundation series but the regular dual motor and why would anybody wrap it, the SS body is one of the main reasons to get the Cybertruck.
This truck has the opposite build quality of a ram truck, body is steel and aluminum frame with terrible build quality while a ram truck has great build quality with a steel frame and a aluminum body. The cybertruck is deadly to be in a crash with because there are ZERO crumple zones.
For the proposed design the Cybertruck would need to use thinner steel like in other cars. The current 30X cold rolled HFS steel does not bend, that's why the truck has so many straight lines. Therefore using common auto steel, it won't be as "tough", it will get car dings, scratches, probably require paint, and certainly won't take bullet shots.
