I'd recommend a longer oil drain pan instead of that square one because of what happened when you opened the drain plug. A longer rectangle type will catch that initial long spew of oil when you first take off the plug and then you wont have to move the pan when the stream weakens and shortens up.

Why did you put the new oil filter on before draining the engine oil ? Just asking. Glad to see another video from you. ✌
Just the habit I have formed over the years; it's easier to move the oil pan since only a bit comes out of the filter, thanks appreciate it!
My dealer uses the pf64 filter but they use 05-30 Mobil one . Will that hurt my motor?

Can't you use a longer "truck" oil filter? I do that on my 2015 Camaro SS. I would have liked to see how you jack up the car with the front splitter.

0w40 is actually intended for track use and 5w30 for every day driving.
also if running 0w40 make sure its dexos2 the 5w30 can be dexos1
