I mean, I know it's an opinion, but I don't understand how anyone can seriously say this is "terrible" unless they simply don't have a clue about music performance. He's on key, sings with expression, and the instrumentation is just fine. Maybe it's not your favorite rendition of this song, but that doesn't mean it's terrible. It just means you don't prefer it to other renditions.
