    I absolutely agree with your conclusions. The only thing I don’t like about the Everest 2 is the exposed knobs. And of course I stayed till the end!

      I can see how it's an issue, especially those that camp a lot, or don't pack with a gentle hand. It was a long video, I appreciate the full watch.

    This is about as thorough a review on UA-cam for anyone in market for a quality camp stove.

      A day after i put this video together, I saw the E2 for 50 dollars less. I've yet to take my other E2 out of the box. Your hat is a stu-staple now !

    Awesome review! I’ve been using a Everest 2 for years. It’s almost too good. The 20k burners heat really well but it’s really difficult to adjust them low enough for some situations. I’m going to try a Teton 2x.

    • @LittleHouseofBeans

      Thanks! Keep in mine the teton doesnt have those little wind reflectors around the flame. I dont think its a huge deal but something to be aware of. I use my E2x in the backyard and my E2 camping…really cant go wrong with any of them

      @@LittleHouseofBeans Yes thanks, I have been researching and hadn’t noticed that the T2x didn’t have the wind cups until your review. I hope the burners stay lit in the wind without them. I have a lot of faith in Camp Chef products so fingers crossed.

      I’ve seen videos of people using heat diffusers for simmering or to keep things from burning

    CORRECTION and APOLOGIES! I would like to apologize for my prior statement of stating that the mountain series bag will not fit my Everest 2X. The statement was made prematurely on a bag I had ordered for the 2X from Camp Chef when the Everest 2X was first introduced a few years ago. I now realized that there is a design change I ordered it, just received it and it fits like a glove even with the 1 lb. propane refillable cans from Flame king on both sides. Thank you again for your video and my sincere apologies.

      You had us all confused for a moment there! Glad your bag fits. I just bought a third.

    which stove among the other ones would you recommend using indoors when a power goes out? I'm in OR (city limits, in the capital of the State and PGE has these issues, living in an all-electric place, there is no way to even warm a cup of water.

    Nice review. You made an error when stating that the mountain series bag fits all the models you had. It will not fit the Everest 2X. The bags height is 4.5 and the Everest 2X is 8". I know because I have the Everest 2X and ordered that bag and it will not close.

    • @LittleHouseofBeans
      @LittleHouseofBeans  6 місяців тому +1

      Thats odd because it fits (perfectly) and zips/closes around mine.

      If i had the ability to ADD video to this video showing the bag and fit, I would. I can always email you a picture tho, I keep my E2X in the bag and it sits in backyard year round. Maybe you've inspired me to do a bag video, lol

      @@LittleHouseofBeans I did a bag video. It is very loose fitting around the 2. I imagine that is so it fits the 2X. There are some really cool stove bags on Amazon with extra pockets, more padding etc. if I had to do it over I would probably buy one of those.

    • @LittleHouseofBeans
      @LittleHouseofBeans  6 місяців тому +1

      it totally fits the 2x, i wish i knew what shelly's issue was. hook me up with the other amazon links (ill buy from your affilliate links)....ill do a full bag video@@KempOutside .

      I saw Jeremy from RvAtlas was getting some of their gear in advance and doing a video. Ive never actually owned a blackstone product. At one time, I had the giant camp chef griddle for our big stoves.....i think it got lost when i moved to FLA. @@KempOutside

    I've only ever had a few single ring cookers that use the little canisters.
    Can you or anyone recommend a single ring cooker that has a connector for a small gaz cylinder..?
    The reason I'm looking for one is that I want to use my Coleman oven on it... but can't use the oven on the one I have as the canister could explode with the heat..
