Citroen unveils the new Citroen C5 Aircross, whose design idiom identifies it as 100% SUV with its big wheels, muscular and protective design and increased ground clearance. At the same time, it is 100% Citroen with its unique personality, striking styling elements such as the Airbump, the protective elements on the lower part of the body and on the wheel arches, its roof racks and its wide range of personalization options. The new Citroen C5 Aircross is the most comfortable and versatile SUV in its segment. As a representative of the Citroen Advanced Comfort® program, it has the Advanced Comfort Suspension® and the Advanced Comfort Seats *. He is a representative of the Citroen Advanced Comfort program with major innovations such as the Advanced Comfort Suspension®, The new Citroen C5 Aircross sets new standards in terms of spaciousness with the Advanced Comfort seats and 3 longitudinally adjustable, foldable and tiltable individual rear seats and its record-breaking boot volume of 580 l to 720 l (depending on the position of the seats). A next-generation SUV with 20 driver assistance systems * and six connectivity technologies *.
With a length of 4.50 m, the new C5 Aircross SUV is a powerful and energetic appearance without being aggressive. It brings a breath of fresh air into the SUV segment with its large and powerful front end, the tall, muscular bonnet, its flowing shapes with eye-catching graphic elements such as the Airbump®, its large wheels with 720 mm diameter, a ground clearance of 230 mm, guard rails in the underbody area and at the wheel arches as well as the stylish two-tone roof railing *. The new C5 Aircross SUV optionally has a panoramic glass sunroof *. Through the surrounding windows and the C-shaped chrome signature its roof seems to float. The wide, vertically arranged rear leaves on a generous trunk volume (580 to 720 l) close.
The interior of the new Citroën C5 Aircross SUV offers plenty of space and a status-oriented design. It is generous and spacious, while offering high functionality. The sturdy dashboard with thermo-laminated cover extends across the entire width. At the driver's seat, the configurable 31 cm / 12.3 "" instrument cluster supplies the driver in the field of view with all selected driving information. The high seating position on the ergonomic seats allows a good view of the street and the spacious center console offers plenty of space.
The new Citroen C5 Aircross SUV offers numerous personalization options. Outside, 30 combinations of 7 body colors (Polar-White, Perla-Nera-Black, Platinum-Gray, Steel-Gray, Volcano-Red, Tijuca-Blue, Mother-of-Pearl-White) and 3 color-packages (Silver, White and Red) provide individual appearance. The exterior colors can each be combined with a roof in Perla Nera black. The possibilities of a personal design are continued in the interior: 3 optional ambience that reflects clarity, warmth and refinement: in addition to the standard (series) you have for the interior the new Citroen C5 Aircross SUV has the choice between the Ambient Metropolitan Beige, Metropolitan Gray and Hype Brown
Citroen's unique Citroen Advanced Comfort® program offers a whole new level of ride comfort. The new Citroen C5 Aircross SUV features innovative Advanced Comfort suspension that compensates for minor road bumps and absorbs rough impacts. While conventional suspensions consist of a shock absorber, a spring and a mechanical stop, the Advanced Comfort suspension is supplemented by two hydraulic stops for rebound and rebound.
The inviting Advanced Comfort seats * of the new Citroen C5 Aircross SUV, with their wide seats and backrests, are inspired by the furniture world. The passengers sit as comfortably as in their own living room. An innovative concept combining foam with high density in the core of the seats and 15 mm thick foam in the outer area, ensures lasting good grip without sinking. The front seats are height adjustable and their headrests are additionally adjustable in inclination *. In addition to the heated seats *, the front seats can also be equipped with a multipoint massage system *. With this system, the driver and front passenger can select from the touch screen one of 5 available programs that combine a lumbar, back and shoulder massage.
The new Citroen C5 Aircross SUV offers various Euro 6.d TEMP compliant and powerful engines in combination with the 6-speed manual transmission or the EAT8 8-speed automatic transmission: 2 petrol engines: PureTech 130 Stop & Start with 6-speed manual transmission and PureTech 180 Stop & Start with EAT8 automatic transmission 3 diesel engines: BlueHDi 130 Stop & Start with 6-speed manual transmission, BlueHDi 130 Stop & Start with EAT8 automatic transmission and BlueHDi 180 Stop & Start with EAT8 automatic transmission.

@@beatoldfield nope. They are talking about hydraulic cushion shock absorbers.. it has nothing to do with hydractive. As you said, nothing for me. There is bunch of better cars with same comfort+ height adjustment. And i really dont need 2wd SUV, i have 2 offroads..with 4x4 and real diff locks prepared for winter and muddy conditions. My old C5 is road and highway cruiser with lower silhoulete and very good comfort.. this is nothing of it. Citroen just failed because old c5 was without liftback version and almost 10 years without major upgrades and facelift..they took all the good from it and let it die.

My advice, never buy a Citroen!! They can look pretty, but bad seat, not stabile on road, and suprise with technics, i had have many citroen, only shit all, and belive me, just now my wife bought a new C4 Cactus, bad, bad, small seat, and the stering become hard when drive over 60km/h, noise from road, and start and stop buttom dont exist, need everytime go inside screen and deactivate it, is not good solution, and if u drive over a dump, the back go up and noise when he come down, hehe, go from citroen!

Noise from road and wind, small and bad seat, hard steering when go over 60 km/h, and the is much more too complain about. I had exara 2003 model before, everything collapse Citroen cant build cars!!!

@@jackanderson902 You bought brand new xsara and everything went wrong? Dont try this s*it on me. I serviced bunch of this cars, some of them should be already scrapped with over 400 000kms and after accidents. And they were still going strong and owners wanted me to patch them as long as possible. It was same platform as P206/306 and many of them are still alive after all those years. Remember, Citroen is always the oldest car on the road.
