thank for the review Joe but all strings sound nice and clean and sharp new I think you need to go back and revisit the strings review once they have been on a couple of months and been well played. I think most of us would like to know do they stay in tune well. did they need a lot of stretching when fist fitted. so keep the great videos coming ( And I still think you should be playing much more of your own songs on the live shows)

Well, I can always answer your questions and it’s a pleasure to do so, but I don’t have the time to follow up on each set of strings two months later. They all sound pretty similar after a couple of months of playing to be honest the differences is that the coated strings age better. So in terms of staying in tune, I’ve never found much difference from one set to another. I never really stretch strings after putting on a new set. I just play it for a while and let them find their way. Perhaps you would like to share some of your thoughts and experiences

Iv been using these strings on my Martin CEO 7 & 00015sm for several months , they seem to hold up & there made in US .

One of the best features of Stringjoy strings is that they offer custom gauge string sets, including sets with unwound G strings. Their website includes a tension calculator for all of their strings.

This popped up today. I take my headphones off to sleep and shower and recharge.
This sounds fantastic. Is it the Joe factor,the beautiful Martin, the mic, the strings or all of the above?
I have bought strings in bulk and don't change brands often. I have been using Martin Retro and whatever came on the CEO 7. I really liked the Elixir Nanoweb, I have a couple with the Guitar Center "clear tone " strings I had used for years. I know a Martin from a Taylor, strings not so much.

Hey John, thanks for taking the time to post and share your thoughts. All of the strings you mentioned are great strings and I use some of the ones you mention on a regular basis. I guess ultimately it’s a personal choice and depends on other factors too, as you point out. 👍
