Hey check the second part where we create an effect to compliment this one: ua-cam.com/video/we8D7AgkgVQ/v-deo.html Oh and I made a course with VFX Graph: www.udemy.com/course/unity-visual-effect-graph-beginner-to-intermediate/?couponCode=17.99_UNTIL_20-09
Hey this is what I was talking about in the discord. Thanks so much for making a video on it. I did not expect one so soon when you said it sounded like a good video idea.
Yes it was! I was initially going to do something else, but my mind kept on revisiting the idea you posted, so I went with it and it turned out great. You are welcome, hope it gives you a good starting point!
*_Something is appearing._* *_Congrats! You learned how to make an object (GameObject) appear!_* *_Me, who wanted to use the "Materialization" on my character: [PC DIES BEFORE IT EVEN BEGAN]_*
Just got back into Unity after a long 2 month break and a trip to Yellowstone. So refreshing to see this video in my recommended! Edit: Just wondering, but what did you do to learn blender? I am having a hard time learning blender and it seems very complicated.
Thank you so much for the awesome tutorial! I have a problem with the emission map, I do everything as in the video, but the emission affects the entire mesh, ignoring the map. Perhaps anyone knows what could be the reason?
Yes they are. The courses are a bit more paced plus we go over a lot more details. Specially on this one: www.udemy.com/course/visual-effects-for-games-in-unity-stylized-explosion/?referralCode=AE52D0D7BA5C64AEFBDE
Can you please make a video on something like (marvel) captain marvel effect (final fight glow) that she had on her body? Something like is possible with vfx graph?
I would recommend the Visual Effects for Games - Beginner to Intermediate first and then the Visual Effects for Games - Stylized Explosion. This use the the Particle System. Then if you want to dive into VFX Graph, you can take the VFX Graph - Beginner and then the VFX Graph - Intermediate (Thunderlord).
Hi Gabriel, I have been wondering for a while and maybe you can give an informed answer: I can build this effect in vfx graph (I following your video :D), I can build it using regular (shuriken) particle systems. When do I choose which though? Millions of particles? Sure vfx graph. Very. Specific control over how strips are layed out and uv-ed, still vfx graph. Low amount of particle and no special needs? Not so sure, by accident already gpu bound? Shuriken?! I know there is a certain overhead to vfx graph but when and why do we choose which over which ?
It's also very important to mention that VFX Graph won't work in most mobiles and low end platforms that don't have a GPU capable of compute shaders. Sometimes that's a decisive factor, since shuriken works everywhere.
Hello! thank you for the tutorial. But my output particle URP lit mesh does not have a field for the "Shader Graph". Is there a way to make this slot appear on the node?
Hello Gabriel, I open the project in HDRP mode otherwise it wont show support for VFX. In there I Cant choose universal mode for shader graph but only built in, vfx or hdrp mode in graph settings.
I would recommend creating a new project with Unity Hub and with URP template selected. Then go to the package manager install Shader Graph and VFX Graph. From there you are good to go and can follow the tutorial.
I have a question🙋❓ Is it safe to use experimental things in our project. By Enabling " Experimental " Option, May be we can face some kind of bugs 👾 latter.
gabi can u do megaman x buster ua-cam.com/video/m-mJgWLjbs4/v-deo.html something like this the middle big one. Would be awesome. Thanks for sharing your work.

before starting any of this please enable the read/write option of the model on which you have to apply the effect. FBX->Model->Read/Write
You are the King of Shader Graph :D I learn so much from your channel! Thanks a lot!
Rabbit tale VFX must be crazy to have someone this talented working on it
Thank you saved me a lot of time trying to browse videos for an actual working one
Gabriel, you're just super!)
Totally agreed!!
I learned a lot from this video as well.
I will use it as a reference for game production.
your videos are always so top notch. great job man
i ve to say thit "u are wonerful man", thanks for bring it to us
IT LOOKS SO COOL

Wow ! That is amazing :). Very nice effect for games
Thank you 🤗
The God of Unity VFX!
I would love to learn the second effect shown at the beggining! Where the sphere materializes!
Amazing as always

Will start to learn it tomorrow, lets be patient pips! Godbless us haha
Thanks mate
Thank you for the free lessons, are the courses any easier to follow? I had a hard time following this.

how to make the scene dark and cool?
Can this work for 2D?

You have 4 courses on VFX on Udemy. What's the correct order of taking them for a beginner?

Can Gabriel make this effect with the particle system
Nice
The scale of the mesh I assign is messed up and doesn't match the original scale :/ any solution how to fix that?
followed tNice tutorials one? Thank you. And for thank you. If it's anytNice tutorialng I can do in return, let know.

Make sure to turn On Experimental Operators/Blocks in Edit>Preferences>Visual Effects :)
@@GabrielAguiarProd thank you sir!
@@UnityJeller it does not show it anymore. Unity 6.
My Spawnned Mesh has lifetime so it is getting destroyed ,
I created same as you but don't know why
Thx
I would like to learn this but I don't know howم please help me
does VFX Graph work on URP mobile devices?..
We all learn differently, I watched, attempted and fucked up, now I’ve watched again, attempted and hopefully won’t fuck up... as much
Yep, trial and error is the best stuff to learn! Good luck!

I have a question🙋❓
Is it safe to use experimental things in our project. By Enabling " Experimental " Option, May be we can face some kind of bugs 👾 latter.
It's mostly safe, some of these "Experimental" features have been around since 2018/2019. They should have already come out of experimental.
@@GabrielAguiarProd ok bro, got it ( thanks 😃 )

the way.
