My 2004 Acura TL 6 speed manual is now near 500k miles, only oil change, timing belt and hoses/gaskets (rubber parts) so far. Not even the struts are leaking. So happy with Japenese reliability.

Not really a true reliability test. This car was mostly highway driven for it to have that many miles. Highway miles is less taxing on a vehicle with city miles plus this car is still pretty new
My sister has Cadillac Escalade 2008. 320xxx miles on it. Original motor, transmission. I did only battery change 2 times, alternator, spark plugs. So what?!

It seems like the new 2.5L is turning out to be a really great engine. Many examples of over 200k 😮 Have you seen any major issues?
Only the know vacuum pump failure that takes out the camshaft. We recommend replacing that pump every 80k.
@@VikingsGarage is the vacuum pump failure on 2018-2020 models or on the newer models too? Thanks

Dcm firmware update is needed.
