I am Vietnamese and I confirm that recently Vietnamese local brands have been very popular with foreign people (especially Thai) because of their unique and beautiful designs. Thank you Tina for supporting local brands in Vietnam)
Hey am gonna be visiting Vietnam in a month can you recommend some stores where I can buy unique pieces and are the stuff affordable and carry different size ranges or are the link Korean and other easy Asian stores where the sizes are very small?
@@Misha-hv6mx unfortunately most of the local brand have small size, you can visit 42 Ton That Thiep or 16 Ly Tu Trong in hochiminh, This place is a combination of local brand stores
Some Vietnamese brand recommendations: The Maven, Lobbster, Maddy Hate Rose, RoseeDeMatin, Rubies Rubies, White Plan, EDINI, ICONIC STUDIOS, COLIN, Marc Fashion, Joie Des Roses, Ha Cuc, Raffiné, Jubin Studio, JM, Tu by Catu, Ceci Cela, CiCi, Darling.ism, CoCo Sin, Those Studios, Dottie, So Vintage, Linh Phung Brand, REN, POXI, Ha Thong, CHYMEOCHY,
Adding to your recommendation list a few high-quality brands (some of them only sell online): Wephobia, Rue Des Chats, Hanoia, Oceana London, Libe, L Seoul, Ướm, Mel Essentials, Thy Atelier, The 31, Social Commitment, Randomlist, Arti Apparel, Respectif, Season Studios, Mermaid by the daughter, Lo boutique
The Armanda black number was so flattering in the first store. The Dear Jose orange tube dress looks perfect for summer. The Floral Punk black shoes looked so good too.
I love the dark green cargo pants with the satin light green shell top. I also really liked the pink strapless dress with the sleeve puffs, but my absolute favorite thing in this video was the brown ruffle dress OMG it is so gorgeous. I really want it.
Thanks for featuring Vietnamese brands! I'm from the Philippines and I've been to Vietnam for 3-4 times the past year and I've always admired how stylish Viet girls are but I didn't know where to shop (I couldn't find the local brands in malls and night markets). I will watch your videos again before I go back to Vietnam.
Tina you actually ROCK in every cloth’s doesn’t matter which style okay Your haul cloths looks good too just sometimes the size thing doesn’t work but you still look GOOD 😭 ❤️❤️❤️
i love this!! i love watching your shopping hauls so i can live vicariously through you 🙏 my plan when i visit seoul next year is to bring an empty suitcase and shop til i drop 🛍️🛍️
Your channel just popped up on my feed because of the Seoul apartment video. I love that you're doing a haul of local/Asian brands. Please do more of these videos. Thanks.
Woah I really liked the second shop with the sailor moon collection and the two fancy dresses u got. I would love to see you do a weekly style video making outfits out of these pieces
I know you said the long white dress with the futuristic detail wasn’t necessarily your style but omg it looked great on you! Anyway, so glad you picked the green top and the brown ruffled dress! ❤
Just in case you don’t know, recently Lisa (Black Pink) and her girlfriends also privately came to Vietnam just for shopping. Not gonna lie, Vietnamese local brands is really the bomb in Asia 🥵
Im a Viet. My normal size when shopping at international brands e.g zara or mango is an S or M depending on the style of the garments. But I rarely can find pieces from those vnese local brands that look flattering on my body. Through looking at the types of models these brands use to style their clothes, they were designed for stick thin lanky trendy girls, there might be big sizing to fit other types of bodies. Because they were not originally designed and cut for curvier bodies, they fit weirdly on me, like here i think most of them fit pretty weirdly on Tina’s body even though she’s defo not a plus size girly. Just look good on paper, trying on is another story. That’s why even though i locate permanently here in vietnam, but still shop at fast fashion brands like uniqlo, mango or sometimes zara. Their sizing and form cutting is more versatile for me to choose from. And there’s one specific thing that the influencers wont show you just because they cant. It is that the fabric and the materials used to make those garments from these vnese local brands many times can be really low quality after just a short period of time wears and tears. They frayed, bubbled and got snatched or shrink very quickly compared to their price points. I know you may argue that its still better than shopping on shein or temu. Absolutely yes, i agree. But that’s just my 2 cents from a local consumer’s point of view. Oooohhh, and that last brand that Tina visited in this video that sells black accessories, their stuffs are not from the local production. They dont even design their stuffs themselves. The owner - which is an influencer, practices very unethical fashion business practice that she’s been notorious for. She sourced all the products in taobao, markets in hongkong and taiwan with dirt cheap prices. Then she slapped their logos on those cheaply made, low quality pieces and claim them to be their own stuffs. The quality is so bad, you got tricked by their high marketing tactics and fancy store display and you think their asking price is reasonable compared to brands like charles & keith, pedro or aldo, but noooo. After purchasing the items from store and using it, not even in a year, just takes it couple of months, you’ll see the degradations on the hardwares and the PU leather. I saw my friends using them, it’s awful and really unethical. I recommend you not supporting this FP brand for their dishonest business practice. Shopping local is good. Though if you support sketchy local brands no matter what they do, is also very very unethical
can you tell us about some used clothing stores that are also online in Vietnam, i love shopping secondhand on wunderwelt and closetchild in japan online, and i love the quality of the items for the price.
I love following your travel journeys! Btw, have you seen the Ikigai Backpack from NomadLane? I'm thinking it could be a great addition to your travel gear.
New subscriber here, I watched a couple of your videos and I really like your personality, I really enjoyed your content, greetings from Ecuador, South America 😊
