    My abusive, toxic dad told me he was done being a parent with me over the phone at age ten, started ranting and talking bad about me, so I hung up on him. Haven’t talked to him since, it’s been years, and I’m so proud of young me for that moment.

      Exact thing happened to me about a year ago, except I was 17. Even though I wasn't too surprised, I never expected he would actually say that to me.
      I always tried so hard to make him proud with every single thing I did and he never even noticed. I forgave him for so much shit, always hoping he would change for the better but he never did. I'll never regret cutting contact with him.
      I'm proud of you too, for making that decision, especially at such a young age. I'm sorry you had to go through that.

      @@MPiimm I'm sorry you had to suffer with that too. It's awful. Doing whatever to impress him and it never worked, I still have the bad habit of being a people pleaser, craving some sort of approval. I hope you're doing better. Sending a virtual hug

      @@buggie27 I'm sorry too. I think we'll always have that search for approval that can only be given by a father, because whether we like it or not a father is irreplaceable, especially when growing up. But that doesn't mean we can't be happy.
      If they don't want to be a part of your life then you're better off without them anyway. It's his loss, not yours.
      What we have to do is give ourselves what they didn't. Be kind and appreciate yourself, because you're worth it. ❤

    In regards to the 1st story, my dad's older brother had to have both of his knees replaced several years ago. The surgery went well, but he was in the hospital for about a week and spent about a month afterwards slowly recovering and getting better at walking again. He was on meds for a while to help him with the pain and discomfort that came with the surgery. Thank God his job has great health insurance and nowadays unless he is wearing short you'd never know both of his knees were artificial.

      My dad had his second knee surgery on his other knee last year then two more (tumor and hernia), followed up by being diagnosed with MS. Had to cut my uncle out my life (his younger brother) asking if he was just going to waste his life away and do nothing. (My grandmother their mom passed away in December and thar has made my dad even more depressed than he's already been even though she was a terrible mother to just him and racist to me and my mom being a lighter shade than her when we're all black) he also abandoned his son and never feeds him not to mention favors his daughter the oldest by one year over him

      I mean
      The grown man really did nearly run OP over and proceeded to swear off the child as if he WASNT parking on/way too close to their property to begin with
      At the point of nearly running a child over, the common sense thing would've been to just go find a different place to park, not cuss out the child until they leave.
      I could get why OP didn't think just asking him to park somewhere else was an option. Though I admit the audacity OP had with going over to his house to play on his game system with his son is so messed up-

    3:36 It says a lot about the teacher that they did nothing about the bullying but 'had words' with the victim after he stood up for himself. Pure cowardice. They always know it goes on; as does the rest of the class; but do nothing about it. "Don't ever do that again in my class" should have been said to the bully instead. I saw that sort of incompetence so many times during my schooldays and it still goes on.

    The thing I have absolutely no regrets about is encouraging and supporting my mom when she decided to move to a different state around 11hrs away from where my brother and I live. She needed to move because of her decline in both physical(which made her unable to get and keep more than a part-time job) and mental(severely depressed and suicidal) health. Plus, my state doesn’t have good medical care policies for someone in her financial situation. She now lives with her sister, and I can call her anytime I want.

      No matter how annoying or inconvenient their parking was the person had no right to just go out and damage his neighbors car.

    • @kellycowley3535
      @kellycowley3535 2 роки тому

      @Lulu
      By 'experienced' do you mean you went out of your way to damage someone else's stuff just because they annoyed you somehow? If so you sound like an asshole.
      Also why do you expect the neighbor to think like there would be a good reason? Some people damage other people things for the fun of it, or for a reaction or because of something really minor and petty (like 'you didn't open the door for me' sort of reason).
      Some people might do something because they don't like that person or because they were having a bad day.
      There isn't usually a good reason for damaging someone's stuff and 'he parked in the way' is not a good reason to key someone's car.

    I was in a rollover car accident and hurt my shoulder it took a while off work but when I came back I was still in a lot of pain. It really slowed me down, and my boss was such a jerk. He even tried to get me fired. Luckily it didn’t work I had a coworker who stood up for me and said I didn’t do anything wrong, so HR couldn’t fire me. However they did chew me out for not doing my work fast enough. That boss eventually had to have shoulder surgery like a couple years later. He was in so sympathetic to my my shoulder problems afterwards and just 100% nicer to me. I still didn’t like him because he had to go through the same thing before he could have sympathy.

      Man literally nearly ran over a child and swore them out for it as if they WEREN'T parking in the kid's family's property in the first place, like cmon there's always other parking spaces to park in if your parking space is taken. Why would some grow adult need to swear out a /child/ like that. Especially when we later find out he's got a kid of his own, he should know better.
      I would get not regretting that, especially since they could've gotten seriously hurt or worse, but the audacity to go and play games in his house seems so weird. BBQs I might get because the family might force OP to go but- literally going over to play on the game system???

    @Kyutie I was poking through your videos...randomly. Found one from back a while with a couple of young people exploring an abandoned farmstead. As you were relating the story,
    you said you couldn't understand why anyone would do that. Well, URBEX is a thing, believe it or not.🙂 Oh...she's also a ballet teacher. Anyway, please meet Ms. Anna Jacøbsen of
    Odense, Denmark. ua-cam.com/users/AnnasBurningCuriosityvideos. She has about 5 years worth of videos. I hope you have time to scope out a few. She was recently in
    Italy...then went to The Czech Republic...and should be in southern Germany about now. Her videography skills speak for themselves.
    I'll tell her about your channel. I think she can get into your content🙂 You've got some great stuff, Young Lady.

    What I don't regret.
    This an all round controversy topic that I'm sick of.
    So my "friend" at the time (he's gay) and I got into something heated the whole school day. It was about girls on their periods, transgenders who think they experience what it's like because of the hormone whatever stuff they take. Don't know the reasoning nor do I want to know. I'm upset because he's trying to tell me how this can have you experience the cramps and excruciating pain I go through filled by and actual cycle every month. I think it's bs because ever if you have a vag in place where your dong was you don't have f**king ovaries so you're obviously not shedding eggs every month. So this went on back and forth to the begging of the next day and I was done because to me in unfathomable how he thinks he's so knowledgeable about this yet can't do basic math. I got so fed up when he mentioned when guys get hit in the junk I kicked him. Had in school detention the following Monday (since it was Friday) and think about f**ks I still don't give

      When taking hormones, people who take oestrogen experience cramps and stomach aches, like a normal period. The only thing missing is the blood, unless they get some sort of surgery done
