Not gonna stop asking for a yellowfin tuna lure: Edit thanks for all the support guys!
World record
4ft long
Tuna steak
I would love to see that paint job
Yes we need a tuna lure
Medium rare steak with coffee for lunch is the most American thing I’ve ever seen in my entire life and I love it
Swap out the coffee for beer and it's Aussie
@@MrMiguellanot just aussie also American people having beer with steak here is more common than coffee with steak 😂
This is the best bait channel on youtube. There is no comparison

I think it would be funny to try to recreate those old lures you made into real working baits. Especially the clothespin one.
Snakehead lure sounds fun
Possibly the greatest ad I've seen for anything ever! 😂😂
I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Your eye for painting is incredible. You're one heck of an artist and lure maker. You should make an Iguana lure! They're everywhere down in South Florida. I bet giant bass would destroy it!
Always amazing to watch the baits come alive. Keep winning thanks for sharing your gifts.
HA the way you covered up that scratch with Super Glue and Baking Soda... 😂 We should just call it The Bait Maker's Bondo at this point! LOL
oh, i was panicking! 17:30
Gotta love when Nate posts a video on my day off 🙏🏻
As a professional artist, I first started seeing your videos as background sound until I caught interest in your technique, especially the super glue and baking soda. Which I’ve now used in my process as well. Incredible what you can learn from different forms of art! Now I wait for new videos every week lol great work! A puffer fish would be fun to make or a manowar ! As a floater
Im sure Spencer would love this odd cave cricket
I thought of Spencer too!! Spencer and flatheads just naturally go together!!
Your skills are getting better with every video keep it up
Been waiting months and borderline years for this one, i almost dropped my phone in shock when I saw the name of this video, fantastic work as always 😎🎣
You should try a betta fish wether plastic or hard bait I think it'd be dope. Love your vids btw!
Ooh, a soft plastic betta with the long fins…..gorgeous idea
Never in my life have I wanted a lure so bad……brings a tear to my eye to see such a beautiful bait being made😢❤…..you do amazing work
Dude the narration is magnificent. I'm close to tears here 😂 Thank you ❤
Spencer Bauer needs this one, gotta go catch a flathead with him too
I brought this idea up to you a few months back, I'm glad you finally decided to make it Nate
Make a wels catfish next. It has an interesting tail that would give a good action in water. Would be exciting to see. Great video btw keep it up❤
That would be so cool in soft plastic the action would be crazy!! Or hear me out a soft plastic replaceable tail on a jointed swim bait. I feel it could be feasible to reinforce the soft plastic with a 3D printed piece and make a mold to shoot the plastic around it maybe something for epic bait molds to take a look at lol😉 I think Nate might appreciate the challenge or the comment at least😂 much love keep up the outstanding work!!
Showing those Baits you started with gave me hope😂
I think this channel in underrated
When that burr bit came out of there on the big mistake i could hear the drill press snickering and softly saying "You'll learn your lesson and come back to me." LOL!! ..... WOW!! That splatter masking fluid technique was a great idea and worked great!!! You always say it's hard to get random. Well that came out wonderfully random. Looks great. ..... im afraid that action and the ditch will not end well for the Flat Head.💀🙃
Flatheads are my favorite game fish! Best fight in my opinion and I've caught a handful of musky
What an awesome lure. Loved the vid!
Your videos always inspire me to paint more realistic lures!!! Keep up the great work!!!
Nice to hear that you wrestled!! My high school wrestling team made It to the state finals last week!!! Wish me luck!!
This man has taught me more about fish than I will ever need to know but it is neat
Ah u just need to start fishing man. . .you can never know too much about fish when you're chasing them. . .
@@CockMcBallsddd I fish every second I have a chance to fish
Be fun to see you remake a couple of those old baits, with the same idea in mind as when you first made them. Like people do with old drawings. Then vs now, or 12 years later. Been watching for a long time, and your consistent great attitude is inspiring and motivational. Thank you
every video you put out is a banger
Man, I'm diggin the color!!
These oblibaitions are gonna be amazin' 🤙
Sweet bait! One of my favorite fish to fish for!
Soon as I saw it I new it was a flat head, looks fantastic.
Need a saltwater bait series to see what bass will eat, tarpon, snook, redfish, sharks, dolphin, whale, the list goes on and on and oh specially finding nemo
that's crazy how good you made it!
Nice looking bait Nate, you should try and make a 6” soft plastic bullhead
I suggested a bullhead bait of some kind before, but Nate didn't bite. It's a good idea imho.
I absolutely love this one flatheads are my favorite species
Nice to see you are looking good again. And wow that bait looks amazing. im so impressed over your talent
Damn that came out fire!
A Marling and Solarfall bait making video on the same afternoon. Let's Go!!!!! 🎣
Nailed it,,,Love this lure.
Another bait, another inspiration to make my own lures! ❤
Every time I see your lures I just have say wow
Looking better 😉👍 all healed up.
It's perfect ❤
Yay new vid! Can’t wait to ENJOY!!
Might be my favorite so far ❤
Can you humor me a bit and make a dwarf gourami lure?
Id also like to thank you for getting me into baitmaking myself. I made my first homemade bait out of a wine cork, bottom off a coke can and some steel bbs . Cork wasnt the best choice lol. My screws pulled out but amazing action
Always happy when I see a new upload
Amazing work once again !
Just awesome, great job.
loved that lil lunch montage lol nice touch
Been waiting for this!!! Love fishing for flathead and bass!
Excellent bait yet again!!!
You should make a saltwater lure like a mullet swimbait
Haha the lunch segment was great
Chester copperpot, the key to catfish baits.
Another great vid! Nate the Great Bait maker never fails!
you have enough baits to invite Spencer to help make them official. Thanks for all you do.
Still waiting on the original art t-shirt.
0:22 "I'm actually going to go for... A slow sink."
I've been waiting for a flathead catfish!! Keep up the good work! 👍
Such a perty granny cat
Love it.. keep up the great content!
“Dude, I’m gonna call flatheads granny cats from now on” and thats how fish get 20+ names. Very nice lure
Absolutely love the videos been watching for years. Recently enlisted in the navy and will be thinking of nothing but fishing and your videos while at basic. Can’t wait to for the stockpile of videos to watch when I’m done though!
OK.... now thats funny. Entertaining. Love your videos
I always love your video’s! Keep up the good work❤
Maybe a cool idea, make a zander swimbait? Seems like a nice idea to me!😊
This channel has the most wholesome comment section ever
B-roll has leveled up! :)
Good old hydro dynamics at play here, every object will take the easiest path thru water, the average Glide Baits are a lot higher than they are wide, this gives them the side to side movement. With that catfish being flat and not very high the less resistance was over top & underneath the lure, allowing it to move up & down thru the water column, also the 2 pectorals then worked as a diving lip. A very cool build none the less, and a failure is only if you don’t learn from it 🤷🏼♂️ really enjoy your tips, techniques & carving skills👌
🔥🔥🔥
Love your content. Always great when you upload. Especially on mondays. Start the week off right👊
Another awesome masterpiece Nate…
You're on a roll, nate!
The widemouth blindcat seems like an excellent fish to replicate with soft plastic
I once was fishing a top water rapala. It was a silver and black minnow, real old skool lure, maybe an inch long. Had a flat head catch fish just destroy that lure on the top. Never got him to in, but he was a good 10 pounds I bet. It was quite a thrill. Beautiful lure. Reminded me of that good fishing trip with my dad. Wish we landed that fish, but he was the one that got away
I love you MB!!!
Dude the tunes in this episode 🤌
Sending Chip some love.
Another awesome video! You're on a roll with amazing content!! I can hardly keep up with regular videos 😝 Looks like with some practice I bet you can finesse that glide into some good action, maybe on a slow roll, somewhere where there isn't as much current as the river. The way is dived and wiggled in the test tank on the shorter jerks was pretty lifelike of a big fish boiling and turning down. That could definitely trigger a reaction strike.
Hello, I am from Alaska and love the videos. Thanks
yay thank you for the upload
I have a huge fascination with catfish so i love this video. I love catching catfish and keeping them as pets. I bought a redtail catfish a couple years ago and bought a pool for her so now i can put other big catfish in it with her and have a real cool predator pool full of catfish.
Congratulations on staying out of the slots and holes with the clearcoat. You truly are impressive.
What I think would be kind of funny, would be to carve out a loaf of bread in the package, so a package of bread, you could have the tail be the opening to the bag or something, and paint it in a Wonder Bread color.
Love this one. It reminds me a lot of an open pour sucker that was one of your first vids I saw.
Ok, I think I'm in too deep: I got a little anxious when you didn't let Chip out after your "ONN TO THE NEXT BAIT!" Can't wait to see you make this catfish official.
Another banger video! First of all, I've been watching you for years. Love your videos, especially the two ranking ones! Secondly, I wanted to suggest a video idea, one that I don't know if you have ventured with. Do a video where you challenge yourself to make 4 lures (a 30 minute lure, a 1 hour lure, a 5 hour lure and a 12 hour lure) that you can test out to see which catches more fish. I don't know, it's just a suggestion. Lastly, I hope you do another outside, on-site lure making video like you used to do. Again, love you're videos! Looking forward to more!
Wow, the colors on this one are incredible! I also love how the whiskers add to the overall look of the lure. Have you ever looked into making a coelacanth bait? I think you'd get a kick out of their four lil "legs"
“Flatheads look like dirty sharks”, had me chuckling pretty good. You’re not wrong, Sir. 😆
38:21 he blinked like a lizard 😂
I have that same exact stool, use it to work on my bike, fantastic deal
Oh yea I really loved to see this I wanted this and I actually commented for it😂😂
Love the stake and coffee B roll 😂
Have you made a guy on a kayak with spinner blades for the paddle?
I love this man
Great job mate ..From NSW Australia
Nice job 👍🏼
Don't know if you have done this before but I think a rainbow darter would be cool🤘
Thank you for superglue baking soda, I really need that.
