Another underrated tip its to be a little generous with the range of a mod on the search when you can, if you want tier 1 life for example on a helmet, the range of the mod its 90-99, but you can search for 87-99 and maybe you can settle with tier 2 but with higher number on tier 2 range and usually its cheaper, so you can save some money with little downside.

98% of the time when people cancel a trade - up to no good. 2% me: - forgot to unstack chaos; - forgot to even get chaos from the stash; - forgot what item I was buying so I put a chisel down... because brain's overheating; - missclicked out the window, instantly thinking "bloody hell, they gonna scam me on links in retaliation because they think I'm trying to scam them on exalts"; - dozen other reasons.
I still do not understand why China and Consoles have an AH yet we cannot have one on PC anywhere else which is the main platform/consumer base? This solves every issue you brought up.
I understand that the note about cancelling trades is still valid because you should check because it could be a scam. But I cancel trades all the time because my inventory is full or I sent the request before getting all my currency. And I've had people do the same to me at least 100 times. I don't remember a single one of those where I was scammed or where they even tried to scam. Granted, I'm always careful because it only needs to happen once for it to suck but I think you're really overstating it's likelihood
New player here, thanks for the video. Should have seen this earlier as I got caught out last night. Being a new player I didn’t loose much just 3 chaos but I had spent a long time grinding for them, so not happy. This guy was in endgame so why he needs to scam a new player for so little is beyond me.

apologies if you mention it in the video but one of the things ive learned the hard way is if you list something for a price and get nonstop offers for it immediately, remove and relist it cause you underpriced it by a ton.
3:13 actually their is alot of market controllers who list it low and don't ever answer to kill the price and that should be a bannable offense. Along with making appear in the top, but most of the time, its just a price gouger. Also if you do a specific stat search for a item you can alot of times find a better deal than just looking for the item itself and then the max stat.

I am stuck at level 50 and regardless of build or skills i keep dying. As well there does not seem to be a general information site as i have been inquiring everywhere what happens to my stash in a league when it ends?
At the end of the league, your league char will get transferred to the standard league. Your league stash tabs will be added to the standard league stash as remove-only stash tabs i.e. you can take items out of it but not add any items in it.
Your characters end up in parent league once the current challenge League ends. If you're playing in Heist SC your characters and stash will be transfered to Standard SC. Your purchased stash tabs will be available in any league, including new ones. As for your character dying, there are many many factors that contribute, such as: do you have enough life? Are your resistances capped? Are you killing fast enough? Are you using a skill that perhaps isn't so good? Are your links properly setup? Are you using your flasks? And many more questions.

Professor, can we get a lesson that discusses some of the common mistakes with using skill gems and basically how to use them. I found skill gem combinations the easiest and hardest aspect of the game. You think this support gem works well with this skill but it doesn’t, etc. great vid as usual.
I remember using the tool procurement and forum threads to trade along with trade chat path of exile trading now is so much better and would never go back to the previous way of trading now haha
I did a mistake once: I wanted to sell an amulet worth 5ex 50c. In the trade window buyer offered 5ex. I corrected him about the price. He/She closed the window, opened it again with 1ex 50c. Unfortunately, I haven't noticed 1 instead of 5. So, I sold item worth 5ex 50c for 1ex 50c :c
I really like the idea of the glow for the 6 links... got scammed this way once... i know its my fault and never ever will it happen again to me... but it will happen to someone again no doubt about it
Could somebody enlighten me on this a bit?: I was researching itemprices on poe ninja for the next league. One specific unique the build requires jumped from 1 - 3 chaos orbs to over 100 chaos orbs within a day, mid league. My question is: what was going on there and will the price eventually be that low again in Rituals. If it stays that high, there is no need to play that build as a league starter. (Item in question is the soulwrest staff)
Amazing video ziz. Super helpful. Trade is such a massive overwhelming area that most streamers really bypass playing SSF. Personally I find trying to find that 4 socket right colour matchup is the hard part. Are there any tricks to getting those colours yourself or perhaps finding them through trade.
Use the jewellers orb method. It's a little long winded to explain here but ziz covers it in his crafting video. You could also search "Poe jewellers orb method" I'm sure it'll come up.

PSA: Always check the item level if it doesn't already have the max sockets. If you're buying an Item Level 12 Shavs you can't get more than 4 sockets (and you're gonna have a bad time).
For me an auction house ingame like in WOW will be a dream.... the poe system is too much for new players many friends end up overwelmed and quit the game :(

Nope. You can buy currency for cash but it's all black market and against ToS. Real money trading will get you banned. Not even sure why you'd want to do this
Lol. GGG explicitly state they don't intend players to play ssf. They design and balance the game for trade and they're very clear about that. Ssf only exists due to massive request from players
@@maxnibler6090 Yes I know, but trading feels a bit like corner-cutting, getting Items you were not able or supposed to find yourself. And currency farmed by bots, no thanks. Trading in private leagues with friends is fine.

Unpriced items usually mean I can't afford it, no need to change settings :)
also, to easily avoid 0.5 alch/perandus traders you can set minimal price at 1 chaos equivalent

If you have problem with tilde "~" typing just use shift ~ with space combo

Shift space is mostly used as a special space, called separatable space, at least in microsoft word.

You can just craft 6 sockets in the crafting bench.
