    First introduced years ago, the NBC110 is no longer available new in Australia or New Zealand despite the NBC110 model name still being sold (with a slightly different shape) in Thailand. This bike shares it's engine with models such as the Wave 110, Super Cub 110 (Thailand) and Dream 110 (Malaysia).

    Woo Wee ! Look at that exhaust muffler hanger strap. Heavy duty. Much better than zip ties to the rear spring next to it though, and chrome. No doubt the only viable option to support all that weight.
    Funny how some items just jump out at you ?
    And 40 hours or so to go yet for the premiere. Salute !!!

      Haha thanks for coming here so early! I feel this episode is a good representation of a "Postie" bike after it comes out of circulation from the postal companies. 35 hours to gooooooo!

    I love small bikes. Here in the philippines I have two semi-automatic hondas; a 125cc XRM and a 110cc Wave. I also have a 113cc Suzuki Raider J Crossover. They are all fun to ride motorcycles. I ride them more often than my F700GS especially around the city when traffic can really be congested.

      XRM and Wave are both great bikes! I wish we could get the Suzuki Crossover here too but it's not available in New Zealand. You have a great collection!

    I thoroughly enjoy watching and learning about the vintage motorcycle, and seeing the prime specimens. I thought about trying to bring these from California to Dublin. My family was from County Antrim. I'm thinking a lot of small displacement. Motorcycles from California could live a second and third life across the pond.

      Small displacement makes the biggest smiles! The more the better.

      There are few Irish importers of the cubs from Japan. If you check donedeal ie there is one super cub as one in the video (110cc injected). Different front light and indicators, and leg shield on, but basically the same for 2,5k euro.

    The bottom box / top box modificatyion is absolutely epic!

      @SmallBikeStuff  8 місяців тому +1

      Such a basic concept but to even think of it is definitely on the realms of big brain thinking. Makes sense! The top box was actually a decent back rest.

    I have and Ex-Austpost Super Cub 110.
    $60 tool box from Bunnings (Hardware store) bolted to the rear rack.
    Running it on 98 octane fuel, and got 103kph out of it drafting a Tradie Van last week.
    Considering my options at which China Clone engines are available, and a 190cc 5 speed (1N2345) has caught my attention.

      Sounds like a nice bike! Lots of choices when modifying it can be hard to choose what to do.

    Very interesting, as I bought a written-off Honda Innova 125 (carburettor model) here in UK which under the plastics looks exactly like this 110 (except for engine size of course). Gradually doing it up to ride as a lightweight on road/off road machine. Done a bit of the same stuff, but shifted footrests and foot-controls further back, looking at ‘Rigid’ LED ‘headlights’, put CB125 forks on it and 18” front wheel (disc front brake as per Innova). Small bikes for BIG fun! Les

    I love small (sub 1K cc ) motorcycles. They are just affordable.

    • @SmallBikeStuff
      @SmallBikeStuff  8 місяців тому +2

      Completely agree! Plus it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow.

    I love Cubs so much. It's one of my dream bikes, but as I am now I can only afford one bike, and it goes to my baby Rebel 500.

      If you're limited to one bike, the Rebel 500 isn't a bad bike to choose!

    Really enjoying your videos. I bet you guys picked up the ex postie bikes for next to nothing. You can’t beat a Honda, I had a Honda nsc50 as my first scooter and it was so bullet proof.

      Thanks for watching as always my friend! The ex posties can be had very cheap and parts are cheap too! Good times.

    Nice review! It sounds angry with that exhaust haha.
    Mine is the sister bike, Supercub NBC110C with the "full" fairing. JA10E engine. Interestingly, mine was manufactured by Sundiro Honda in China.

      Thats an awesome bike! Interesting how there are so many factories churning out the same/similar models.

    May end up stealing that bottom box idea - brilliant! Cans > Bottles though.

    the nbc110 is no where near as good as the ct110, the nbc 100 is built in china, using chinses parts, i just got one from the auctions, it is a 2017 nbc 110 and with 44,000 k's on the clock it needs a top end rebuild , the honda drean was a 125cc and a much better bike and motor, i rode one all over south east asian with no problems, i regret buying a nbc110 for $1,000 australian dollars, save your money and buy a ct110 2012 model

    • @SmallBikeStuff

      The Dream, Wave, NBC have all come out of the same factories in Thailand - you can still buy a NBC110 in Thailand but it's branded as a supercub with a different look. You can see one in this video I made in a Thai dealership at 9 minutes, 30 seconds into the video. ua-cam.com/video/h8ky7e7oRe8/v-deo.htmlsi=PJGcBADu6mBUcITA
      CT's are great. But the NBC isn't terrible because of that.
