Equal quality to HK doesn’t exist. The fit and finish on their guns is second to none. The upper and lower fit so tight, it shoots extremely well and in 8,000 rounds has legitimately not given me a single issue. I haven’t even had a light primer strike. It is heavy though but it is a DMR style rifle I use for 400-600 yard shots…
I got this, a VP9 and an HK hard case all brand new out the door for $2750 with tax in June of 2019. It was a steal and is my favorite AR for shooting long range.
I wonder if you change the magazine catch if it will then be able to take a Gen 2. That's a huge fail considering how many of those magazines we all have!
@@nohandle74 weighs less, less recoil, fully ambi, better barrel, better upgraded bolt and gas system. I can’t think of anything the mr556 does better except it might be more reliable in adverse conditions being that it’s a piston gun and being so overgassed. I would have to see some tests on that
First of all, it's NOT a 416. It sucks as a rifle. But its good investment. Sold mine and got doubled cash back. It doesn't even have adjustable gas block so no good as a suppressor host. Taiwan T91 is similar but way cheaper
I mean, if you want the design, you should just pick up a Caracal for a third of the price. It is arguably a more modern rifle, with better features. Or maybe if you cam find a used Sig 516, .....I absolutely agree with you that the only reason to buy an HK in 2024 is for investment purposes. They just refuse to sell Americans an updated rifle.
Agreed. T91 doesn't have adjustable GB as well, but it has short barrel version and perfect as a suppressor host. Don't have much experience with caracal
My brother. It looks like the weight you had previously lost has found you again. All the toys in the world are worthless if our physical fitness is lagging. Be well. 💪

It’s simply too heavy. Much better options with equal quality.

Remover the rubber on the buttstock and you’ll find a takedown pin tool
Great review. I have the same rifle. Overbuilt would be an understatement but I do appreciate the quality.
Build quality is excellent!
Fantastic review, thanks
Good deal, thanks for another fine show and tell.
Looking 👀 forward to the next.

Smoking price!
Great review! However the rear takedown pin is definitely a non starter.....

great video.... you have changed my mind about getting one.
What you thinking about getting instead?
@@TheArmedScotsman Depending on how ur video of the Noveske turns out... ive always wanted one of those
I watch these mostly for the “wiggle test”, bummer about the mags and the takedown pin, well done sir! #2ABuddy
I would like to compare this to the BRN 4
Spr build. That would be a good home for that gun. Anything else just not the best option.
Got this same rifle with the exact same optic setup. Also got a SR-15, which is way better
How is it way better?

Seems like a decent firearm but shows a few too many snobbish H&K “features” 😂 like what even is that auto eject M2 mags feature
😂

Haha, yes, it has. I spent 3 weeks in Italy last month, that didn't help. Trust me, my fat ass is back in the gym :)

@@TheArmedScotsmanglad to hear that my friend. 👍💪
Overweight, over gassed and over priced, no thanks! Also who cares about being able to put your AR on safe when it’s not cocked.
Won't accept gen 2 Magpul is a deal breaker, what a disaster of a design.
Not an HK issue. That's a Magpul issue. Magazine compatibility with the SCAR and the M27 was the whole reason for the Gen 3 PMAG.
