In this video, I replace a broken windshield wiper fluid nozzle on my 2011 Cadillac SRX. To replace it I had to remove a panel under the hood, remove the old nozzle, and install the new one. This job was very easy and took about 5 mins from start to finish. This guide walks you through each step of the way, so you shouldn't have any issues or surprises. These are also compatible with the GMC Acadia, Chevy Traverse, and Saturn Outlook.

Nice video thank you. It would be nice if you have more videos about this car, like brakes, rotors, spark plugs, etc... Keep up the good work.
More videos coming soon!
Thanks for making this video. I will be replacing a broken nozzle on my SRX and this helped tremendously.
You’re welcome! Glad it helps!
Your hand covered the nozzle

Not going to watch!!! The echoes are tremendous!!!
Thanks… thanks… thanks… thanks…
Your video was excellent and I was able to replace the nozzle on my SRX with ease. Thanks from Canada!
Wahoo! I love to hear the success stories! Thanks for the support
You keep bouncing with the video when pointing out the gasket and a few others. I was trying to see the proper way for the nozzle suppose to be pointing under the hood. This is my wife's vehicle. It doesn't spray any fluid out at all. Any ideas on how to fix it 🤔
I would just check all of your hose connections. If all of those look good you should make sure you are getting a good electrical signal. Does the rear spray work?

Here you go!
Thanks for talking about that little gasket. Was wondering what that was on my new OEM parts. Couldn’t find any other videos with it mentioned. Thanks again.
Glad you found it helpful!
That's why you take the old part off before buying the new part lol.
True that!

Very helpful! Thanks! My story: The driver's side washer jet on my 2012 SRX did exactly the same. It blew out the center piece. Why? I have never seen anything like that happen in my years of driving. I didn't really want to mess with it so I had it changed out at the dealer for (gasp!) a $100 buck or so! Such a ripoff. Well, you win some, you lose some.
Not two months later the PASSENGER side jet did the same thing! Now, I am ticked. So, I can do this. Your explanation is excellent and confirmed what I suspected.
Thanks again for a very helpful video!
Thanks! You can do it!!
@@elibaier Hi, Eli! Just to let you know, Amazon delivered the replacement nozzle today. I opted for the GM part at almost $16. I just had the driver's side replaced two months ago, so I wanted to see if I could get an exact match.
My guess is that GM changed this part. The original number is GM-25823361. And it is ever so slightly different than the replacement which is GM-25823360. The two nozzles I have match exactly in looks and spray pattern. I also purchased the tool to remove the interior hood liner, per your suggestion.
That all arrived today and as the sun has retreated and the weather became somewhat acceptable, I gave it a try. I *might* have spent 10 minutes on the whole process - in no small part due to your very helpful video.
The only problem I encountered was removing the hose from the old nozzle. The part that goes into the hose just disintegrated! It was close to dust. I used a screwdriver to scrape the pieces out of the hose. I cleaned it up, hooked up the hose to the new nozzle, and tested it for security, and tested the spray repeatedly.
It works like a champ. Again, $16 for the nozzle (I could have gone cheaper), $6 for the tool kit, and 10 minutes of my time. I looked up what the dealer charged me. Parts and labor for the driver's side nozzle: $99.49.
So, Eli, many thanks to you!
Chuck
@@cggage That's awesome to hear!! I'm so glad it worked for you Chuck!
my passenger side did the same thing. when I took the cover off, there was a small black piece with little spring in it laying on underneath the nozzle. Don't know if it was a part of it or not. Anyway, couldn't replace the nozzle.
Did you end up replacing it?
