BOEING 777X (or 9 for the puritans) FULL DISPLAY AT PARIS AIR SHOW

- I had to run music for the first 2 mins due to a very noisy display Jet taxiing and stopping at stand and running the engines up - but it kinda works. Enjoy this amazing display. Check out the wing: much more Dreamliner design with those big long wingtips. Much less flap extension compared to the Barn Doors of her sibling - this is a big Foot on steroids 💪🏻
The wings have got to be the most beautiful design in aviation. Its mind blowing to think that the tips of the wings will flex to the same height as the top of the rear stabilizer at cruising altitude.
the vertical or the horizontal stabilizers?
@@ilike.men_ Vertical stabilizer
not quite the top when at normal cruise , more so just above the base. they could in theory bend up as far as the top of the vertical stab.
Hard to believe that’s a 777 the way they throw it around 😍
Total grace. Thanks for capturing that, Jerry.
This is THE long-haul aircraft of the 21st century! Brilliant!
The 777x is absolutely awesome and 10/10 for your camera work Jerry 👍👍👍👍
Watched it live, love it in repeat. Great editing work, Jerry.
Ditto 👌🏾
That thing has perfect proportions 😍
Those engines .. that plane ... magnificent 👏👏
Thank you for taking us to the Paris Air Show!! This is definitely on the old bucket list.
You're right Jerry; I noticed the flap thing first time I saw a flight vid of the Triple X. Also the wing sure seems to have a real Dreamer quality to it, nice flex....
So agile for such a large aircraft tanks BJTV👍👏
Beauty and Power! Amazing what these jets can do without passengers and cargo, it rotated and leapt off the runway all at once. And the climb rate was insane!
The most beutiful jet imo 🤩
What blew me away was how quiet the 777X was. It is the biggest jet there. But was the quietest that I saw fly yesterday on BJTV.
Imagine being strapped on board! It was great to watch it live. Mega camera work, Jerry.
The spool up sound and exhaust note really make it sound like an airliner of the future, the GE9x fuel efficiency is obvious just from the sound it makes. This plane is the best looking non-double-deck airliner built for the last several decades, and maybe just the best overall
I loved watching this live and seeing the wing tips fold down
Wow. Stunningly beautiful piece of aircraft design. Thanks for the replay @bigjettv!!
That was amazing loved the airshow yesterday it was the best show ever that was a very steep takeoff
So graceful ❤️ and thank you for posting this.
thank you guys.....great show!!!!
Loved show awesome fantastical 😀✈️ bigjettv we love you xx
I can hear Airbus' quiet envy.
Missed this live, thank you BJTV ❤
What a stunning airliner.
Incredible skill!
Loved watching it live, second time around it still blew my mind! Fantastic video👍
I gave you like Rab hope your well Liz x👍✈️😀
@@lizmatthewman4039 I'm good thanks Liz, hope you are keeping well👍
On way bk from work will join jerry after 8 going make meal first see you all on there 😀✈️💕
What a beautiful and graceful airplane!!!
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL 😊
Can I be controversial ? I think the A350 1000 is a better looking aircraft, but a stunning display by the 777
Agreed, 777 still with those aged looking cockpit windows
The A350 is a ‘Boeing-esque’ design anyhow with the fuselage design from front to tail, the Big wings and big twin engines. It looks very much like a cross between the 777 & 787
@@kojoharrison630 very slight resemblance to the 787 possibly but in my view the 350 is sleeker.
@@r12004rewy Boeing does simpler sleeker designs I think. The wing profile of the 787 is the talking point on everyone’s lips and there’s nothing like it in flight. The A350 has a rather overstretched and stiffer wing profile with very little flex in it. Also Don’t forget that the A350 is Airbus’s answer to the 787 and it is 4 years behind the 787. In A documentary of ‘The Making of the A350’, an Airbus executive being interviewed said that they made the A350 to be like the 777.
Great shot!
Beautiful ❤
Worth going to Paris just to catch this fabulous aircraft 😃
Take off is mad!
Beautiful
An aviation beauty!
Im looking forward to seeing them in service with airlines
My favourite aircraft of the show were the 777, A321 and the 195E2. The music fitted well and camera work was 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣%
Jerry, Just Amazing Fantastic Brilliant. Massive Engine's and air intakes. You can Hear the Air being sucked in and what a climb. ✈️ Brilliant ✈️
Great Images !
That is one big sexy flying machine just there 👌
Incredible.
Wow!! Just WOW!!
Amazing
Oh god that was some takeoff thanks Jerry and Gilly missed this due to being away 😊😊😊😊
Great plane ,great camera work Jerry
Awesome video.
♡♡♡
Very Nice airbus !!
Nicely done, Jerry and Gilly. And the incidental music worked well too.
I wonder if the hesitant gear retraction at 1:22 was due to the severe angle of incline, which was well beyond normal boundaries.
Smokin Triple! I wonder if all the Triple X’s are gonna be 5-doors. Thanks, Jerry, Gilly! Oof!
WOW!!!! I would love it if all of the flights I’m on took off like that one. ❤😊
Amazing machine! Incredible flying techniques! Now, we just need to switch from these to modernized helium airships or smaller electrified airplanes. Quickly!
I love to going one of these shows seem to miss out a lot
That is a sexy jet!
Nice
The 777x is like the bigger version of the Dreamliner
Beaut 😍
Saba mara tatu. Powerful Plane.
Even though it’s for Boeing that’s a beautiful livery
Nice edit 🩵✈️🩵
Oh my, what's with the near vertical take off?? 😳🙈 scary
Demo of its capabilities for the airshow.
Oh the drinks trolley!!!
Wow she looking awesome , when she be in service ????
I wonder how much aerodynamic drag that bump on the top causes?
Is it as quiet in person as it seems on the video?
I do believe it is time for this Boeing prototype to perform a "Tex Johnston" barrel roll and "Sell some airplanes!" Boeing needs to get their butts in gear!
I was thinking the same thing about the barrel roll when he stood it on the wing tip!
We hope at FIDAE 2024... 😎😎😎😎😎😎
Was anyone concerned about the start-stop-start gear retraction at 1:22 ?
Did anyone notice?... It paused in mid-retraction for about 5 seconds.
I've never seen this type of anomaly before on any aircraft.
Perhaps the ultra steep climb affected it... but should it have?
What if the gear had stuck permanently in this mid-way position... that could have been disastrous, surely?
I am wondering if the gear-up mode was tested rigorously beforehand in a 'dress rehearsal' of such a near-vertical climb.
Is this the plane when testing the wings the extreme load caused a door to pop off
Is there anyone who know if Boeings aircraft will stay at the show until Sunday (last day of the salon du Bourget)?
It’s crazy to think about how those engines are moving air kind of like a propeller in water
Beautiful plane, but the jumbo still the queen!
I still prefer calling it 777-9 because that's the official name Boeing applied to this plane.
@Sacto1654 - Yeah Sacto, although to be fair they painted a dirty great "777X" on the under-belly of the aircraft for all to see!! 😄
Does anyone know when the plane will be leaving?
Paris ? Pah ! Who needs Paris ?
5:33-7:10 absolutely wild
What if KLM got the 777X?
When you going live this week Jerry@ParisShow? Would you kindly grace us with a schedule? Thanks
Saturday, approx 1pm CEST
@@BigJetTV Copy, Thanks🙏🏾 . And how about during weekday, would love to see some aircraft exteriors up close + flying displays.
@@david.b4186 - BJTV app indicates that they are back on livestream tomorrow (Wednesday) - time to be confirmed.
Jerry suggested at the end of his Paris show yesterday that he would be in London tomorrow, and back in Paris on Saturday.
Currently, the A350-900 has overtaken the 777-300 as my favourite 2-engine widebody (to fly as a passenger). I'll be interested to fly onboard this variant in the future.
I will take one of them please
I wonder if your Dad, Jerry would've like to get his hands on the controls!
Jerry is getting too good with the camerawork! I fear we’ll lose him to Harvard or Oxford Uni to run degree courses in Cinematography lol
Did BIG J TV go there today?
BJTV was not due at the air show today (Tuesday).
Jerry signed off his video yesterday (at 3:38:28 in that video) by saying that they planned to do a livestream from London tomorrow (Wed), and then back to the Paris Air Show on Saturday. Hope this helps 😀
Shame it still has an engine bleed-air pressurisation system and not the healthy and more passenger friendly Cabin Air Compressor of the 787.
777X, sleeper of a jet, it will in time have a higher production number than 747. Yes 1,500+
Boeing disagrees with you
You edited at 0:55 😭😭😭 why???
As a longterm fan of aviation I really do not like the winglets in this 777. They look like shark's dorsal fins.
I wonder what's behind these air shows: why airlines choose to buy large quantities of airplanes during these air shows? Do they get fantastic deals? Why don't Boeing, Airbus, Embraer sell their products outside the air shows? They actually sell but never in such large amount. It makes me wonder what's behind these super sales......
IF U NEVER SAW ONE OF THESE LIVE…. THIS IS AHUGE AIR CRAFT…. HHHUUUGGGGEEEE…
Boeing does the same tricks everytime.
Try building a plane that doesn't fly itself into the ground, the 777x is years late.
Great job Bonehead! I mean boeing
Airbus winning 😊
Both Manufacturers belong to planet Earth so applause to both. It is NOT wise at all and it is rather immature to set one manufacturer against the other.! 🙏🏾❤️
Nice but safe?
So Puritans call this plane the "9" do they? Bizarre title.
The irritating music sound track ruined the enjoyment of actually hearing the jet.
Not "puritans", "purists", but I don't believe that they're calling it the "9" either. If you were trying to indicate how this plane is designated other than the Boeing 777X, you failed miserably.
It's a jumped up version of every other Boeing designed since the 60's apart from the 747, nothing new at all. No innovation, what happened to Boeing?
A350 all the way! for me, but still can't beat the A380 for passenger comfort especially in economy seats! Boeing have blown it. Just shows you what bad management and greed can do for a once great company! But they still haven't learned with trying to limit the compensation for loved ones that lost their lives on the 737max crashes with their legal team insisting those poor soles didn't suffer!!!!! in the 8 to 10 minutes of HELL as the plane nose dived and climbed violently!!! Before finally nose diving into the ground at near supersonic speed!!!These people are evil
Beautiful
