I really wish case manufacturers would make more hinge friendly cases! I definitely feel safe having hinge protection even if it adds a little bulk to the case.
Agree, I feel like all of the Fold cases a very fragile and not durable enough, especially the one with the hing exposed. Non are safe when a accident drop happen suddenly.

The Samsung case with pen is not as bad as you say. You can use the front flap to hold onto the phone one handed when using the Fold opened. It can be used as a stand when laying flat. You have to be creative and you'll find that it's not that bad that you have to throw it in the trash. That's just crazy lol.
it does have 2 very bad flaws. after a while it can't stay closed, the weight of the pen is enough to pull the flap open. and it doesn't really provide any protection for the outer display and bezel, although this can be covered by using the frame from a different case.
tbh I would love to see a rating at the end of videos like these so we really know which of these is the best of the best with your hands on experience based on a handful of criteria so we can decide what's best for us etc. that said, still a very helpful video. thank you!

Speck case is best. 1 point to add to it, when closed it closes the gap! No other case $100 or $1 does this, speck clear case closes the gap when folded. Major bonus point.
The S-pen case is definitely flawed, but I'm not seeing any difference between the diagram in the insert and the final product.... All they needed to do was at least give the flap a bit of a rounded edge so that it would grip the right side a bit better. That's how it was on the Note 20 Ultra case and it stayed shut and didn't slide around, even though there was no magnetic hold or anything.

The speck presidio case if the best one. I have tried so many cases and returned them. What i like about the speck is that is technically is a single piece case therefore no adhesive is needed. Paid $65 for it but is all worth it. Hope they speck would come out with a black one

Why can't samsung make one like the flip where there is a band between the two halves. Even an elasticated band or something that is hidden when the phone is open.
I just can't get along well with a front surround case, I find it interferes with edge touches too much. so I tend to just use the rear part of cases. Also sweet reviews 👍

Unfortunately that kickstand doesn't stick to silicone well. I bought my wife the s21 ultra with that kickstand and it keeps coming off. The information on the kickstand even says not to stick it to silicone.
The Samsung silicon case is good for me (had to replace the terrible one with the pen). It doesn't make the phone too bulky and has a nice touch feeling.
Avoid using samsung case with the s-pen. Dropped the phone and had scratches on the front screen when phone was folded. The front cover just does not stay closed.
Samsung leather flips is the worst.....I got mine for a week and the side started to peel off....went to samsung center....telling me there is no warranty, so no exchange can be done......no more samsung accessories for sure....
You can Diss Samsung for the premium leather case all you want buddy. The fact is that you are too busy complaining about the the aesthetics to realise the practicality of the design. Because of the fact that the outer cover is not stuck in place when the case is open you can hold on to the phone and type or use the device with the s pen and actually control your input especially when using the handwriting to text function which is why the user probably upgraded to if for in the first place 😀

When you open to full screen the floppy side turns into a super one hand holder . Yes please make one you can see the front screen without opening . Other problem , can't put into normal desk holder stand. It will get better but for now nothing works better if you really are an s pen user... Hold tight but buy this one.

I have the first Samsung case reviewed. Its ONLY redeeming quality is that it comes with the S-Pen, though not the S-Pen Pro.

My VRS case wore out pretty quick. The color of the case wore off to the natural plastic color.

I got the Kickstand case love it ordered the pen holder you showed for the back and Samsung pen case don't like the front is bad RICKY
Big disclaimer: My vrs kickstand case scratched the front screen on the left because it kept sliding. Other people have had this issue.

No S pen holder no cover. The s pen with holder that you threw out was the only one that had an S pen, go figure
