When you poured the resin, I was worried about your choice in color. But my fears were unwarranted because I don't think any other color would've made the piece as beautiful. Great eye! Look forward to seeing more
I thought, by the bark, it was eucalyptus! The colour of resin, you chose, certainly enhanced the wood. Great stuff! It is a lovely bowl! Well done, and keep on turning!
There is something extraordinarily satisfying about watching a master craftsman at work. Turning something as beautiful as this from an innocuous piece of wood that can be found lying around (ok with a little resin). Excellent video
You call yourself "a beginner", but 730,000 views in 4 months time is an indication that a LOT of people must disagree with that. Magnificent work of art, sir.
fiquei maravilhada com a capacidade que DEUS dá aos homens de certas habilidades, vc é um artesão de mão cheia, meus parabéns pelo seu lindíssimo trabalho.
Why did you remove the dark wood branch if you intended to cast it in resin? Also, how much pressure do you apply to the curing pot? Thanks for sharing your project.
Bowl looks great. Contacted a pioneer in this type of work with resin, she said working with the fine particles got her very sick. Curious about other people's experience.
I made a bowl many years go out of solid block of elm (I think). 20 years on, it has warped all over the place (even with many layers of danish oil). Do you know if the resin stabilises the wood, or will it eventually split away from each other?
Awesome and Amazing! I see your creativities!!!!!! What your doing is what I do for professions for 25 years! And I have experience on wood work for 30 years! Could you tell me where to get these machines and wood?
I really liked the colors. Beautiful piece of art my friend. I want to learn how to use resin also. Do you have any tips for a beginner. I'm pretty new to turning also. Thanks for Shari g so I can learn. Stan

Thanks! I agonized for a while picking a color because I thought nothing would look good, but I think it turned out ok ;)
Lilac wood, I think.
I was thinking the same thing. It looks amazing.
@@CookWoodworks good job
I was thinking the same thing about the color choice, but it came out amazing.

Very kind words, thank you for watching!
I just got a wood lathe and have a odd shaped branch of strawberry tree wood with a burl on. This has given me the confidence to work on it thanks
Good luck, have fun!
Eucalyptus are known for being brittle in the wind so I was surprised at its strength to be turned. Marvelously revealed coloring of the wood!
Interesting color for the resin. Complemented the wood well. Very warm and inviting.
Feel like this project and the way you shot it really showcased how skilled you are
Thanks, that's very nice
What a nice beautifully made craftsmanship. You are a Top of the line woodturner. An artist. Thank you for sharing.
Really lovely bowl...the eucalyptus is gorgeous!
Wow, what a difficult project! I've turned eucalyptus once, and it was just a small bowl, and hard as diamonds. But very much worth it! Great work!

It should help for sure, but this is the first bowl I've made like this so here's hoping I'm right!
