A moment for appreciation for those kids who subscribed but didn't take the reward as they knew it's too much and they didn't subscribed for any selfish motives they did it because they liked dale . Children have good English because they are going to school adults and street vendors don't have good English because they probably skipped school to start a business of street food stall.
What I love about your videos is that you not only show places to see in the cities you visit, a bit of the food but you also show the people. One of the great joys of travelling is meeting the locals, seeing how they live and hearing their stories. Faluda and dosa made me gain a 15lbs when I was in India! My other favorite Mumbai street foods were Bhel Puri (i was addicted) and Vada Pav... very popular in Mumbai streets. Really Great video, my college friends and I used to hang out at Chowpatty beach. You bring back so many good memories! Thank you!!

So Dale, dosa is basically a salty pancake made from a fermented rice and lentil batter The white chutney along with it was made from dried coconut flesh and spices and the sambar is a lentil soup with a tomato base! Hope that clarifies it😂

The Dosa is a crispy crepe. The batter is made from soaked rice and soaked Urad Dal more or less, that is ground into a paste, fermented for hours and then put on the griddle into an oval in front of you. It’s an art to do it well to make a great dosa. Potato Bhaji made with onion and a few spices inside. Glad you ENjoyed it 👏🏼👏🏼😄
Dosa is basically Rice batter that's heated so that it gets crispy. A "Paper" dosa is a dosa that'll literally feel like paper. A Masala dosa is a dosa which contains Boiled Potato with spices (masala) in it. So, a paper masala dosa will mean a masala dosa that feels like paper.
Try Ghee roast/ masala Ghee roast- a dosa made with ghee.. cleared butter. It's common in South India. Little crispy, and buttery, not too dry like paper dosa... Try it, it's best

Before the corona virus lockdown, I used to visit Chowpatty every Friday after office. Just looking at the sea, getting a feel of the wind on my face made me forget about all the worries and stress. Miss this place..

When old generation went to school English was optional, after 2000s English was main language and Hindi and Mother tongue (official language of state) are optional. So youngster and kids are better in English than older people.
Really, my parents went to a English school & I went to a English school in the 80’s when I was lived there as well as well as the rest of my family that is still there. Last time I was in Mumbai was a year before the virus & still find most people spoke English except mostly some street vendors and rickshaw drivers .. & I thought the main language of Maharashtra was Marathi, unless that has changed recently?

Dale, most of the times when anyone is not communicating with you as expected, it would most probably be because they are not fluent in English (or even don't understand it), not because of their arrogance. (You must have figured it out already, but in case you didn't this might help) In fact, in this video itself I noticed this thing a lot of times! Very neat!! The food looked very tasty and the price was amazingly good! :) Also neat that so many people use the local beaches. There have been times in my City where I go to a huge beach and a nice beach to if I may say so and yet almost no one is around, like literally you would be lucky to see more than 4 people in a span of 5 or 6 kms of beach land! However, it looks like the locals in Mumbai make great use of their resources. You sir are a very brave man for traveling by yourself in such a big metropolitan area! :) Keep up the great work :)

5:45 it is kulfi. Rajwadi kulfi made from 100% milk. They take 10litres of milk and boil it till they are left with 5 litre milk and then add sugar and spices. And get a kulfi
Dale, Dosas are actually south indian specialties. Hopefully next time you are back in India you will find your way to the south. Completely different experiences! Different languages, foods, and people! Tamil Nadu and Kerala are my recommendations!

Very neat!! The food looked very tasty and the price was amazingly good! :) Also neat that so many people use the local beaches. There have been times in my City where I go to a huge beach and a nice beach to if I may say so and yet almost no one is around, like literally you would be lucky to see more than 4 people in a span of 5 or 6 kms of beach land! However, it looks like the locals in Mumbai make great use of their resources. You sir are a very brave man for traveling by yourself in such a big metropolitan area! :) Keep up the great work :)

5:45 it is kulfi. Rajwadi kulfi made from 100% milk. They take 10litres of milk and boil it till they are left with 5 litre milk and then add sugar and spices. And get a kulfi
