You may want to contact your local bar association to see if any "pro bono" (free) lawyers are available. Or, you may not need a lawyer at all depending on your situation. If you are in CA, UT or CO, check out our website at www.hellodivorce.com
sorry to infringe on your privacy,Its said that 'A picture is worth a thousand words, but when I saw a photo of you, it was more than words could explain.Your profile is irresistible, though a little personal message but your look tells a lot about a nice person...so i had to drop a message to the charming person with this great profile.Just want to know you better and be a friend
I will be filing for divorce. We have been separated for some time. We no longer have any assets together and anything that we did incur while married has long been sold or given away. I didn't want anything. Since nothing was ever allowed to be put in my name he has agreed he will take care of any debts left. And our children are grown. He has agreed to spousal support indefinitely and under ca rules I am entitled to half of his retirement. We will not be contesting and have a written agreement. That we've had since 2020. But I am aware I have to file a QDRO for the retirement funds. Is this something your service can help with or should I seek out a lawyer if so. Do you have any recommendations for a lawyer that can help me. I am in the fresno, CA area.

You say near the end of your video that we should have "someone" sign the FL-180. Excuse my ignorance, but who is that someone? A lawyer or mediator? Or just both petitioner and respondent? Thank you.
Hi Jamie - in a default with agreement, the FL-180 needs to be signed by both the Petitioner and the Respondent, and both signatures need to be notarized. If there is only one blank on the FL-180, you can add a signature page and use that to have the Respondent add a signature. Our Hello Divorce software automatically adds the signature page for you. Hope this helps!
Hi, nice video. My wife and I decided to divorce, uncontested. We are in California and both want a divorce. We were married in the UK, is it ok to get a divorce here? Same rules based on California? I do not expect disagreement in terms of finance. Our kids are over 24 years old. Should I file the petition first before agreeing on the financial details? Or should we create a marriage agreement with all the financial details before the petition? How to create a marriage agreement? Thank you. B. (In your video, it seems like you suggested filing a petition first, then after the response, and work on the financial details.)

Is there any free lawyers for people with no income during pandemic

Is there a way to keep the marital settlement agreement out of public record?
Can your services help me if I also have to file a qdro with my divorce?
We don't prepare QDROs directly at this point but we can certainly provide a referral to a partner service.
I filed online. There still hasn’t been anything done yet. I spent $145.00
