I just picked up the Tab S9 the other day cause I wanted the 11inch size I didn't need my tablet being any bigger and Samsung dropped the 11inch in the Tab S10 series...the 11 inch size is perfect for portability and ain't too awkward in the hand...keep up the good work my man.
I considered upgrading my Tab S6 to the S9, but Best Buy had open-box deals on both the S9 and S9 Plus at similar prices. With only a $40 difference, the S9 Plus offered more RAM and storage, so I opted for the Plus model. The larger size is still manageable for me.
I have a conspiricy theory on why they got rid of it. It was announced around when we started hearing rumors of this trifold. And guess what size they are rumored to going with for it when it's unfolded.....the same 11 inches as the smaller tab series. I'm so ready for that device
The Tab S9 is a good tablet to get in 2024 and 2025 and i plan on getting on it since its on a great deal and i need a big upgrade from the old and slow tablet ive been using.
This was my favorite purchase of 2023. This tablet has been the core of my business since purchase. I dock it to a monitor and have a Dexnor keyboard case, so I don't need to bring a heavier laptop. It's also portable, so when I travel for work it's convenient. It also makes a great entertainment device, both video and gaming.
Same here I wanted to replace my badly damaged Tab S7 "11 with the latest Tab S10 of the same size but they didn't offer it, so here I am typing this comment on my 2 month old Tab S9 "11, it's great 😊.
I just got the Tab S9 with the keyboard cover for free and on a discount. Pretty good deal. Didn't thought I was gonna like the keyboard as much as I do.
@chaule3814 I live outside the us, and they made a sale just as the new s10s were arriving. They were probably burning stock to make way for the new ones. It was cheaper than buying just the S9 alone and on a discount from Samsung US and have it shipped to my country. Win win.
Perfection 4 me would be an 8 to 9 samsung tablet, amoled, 120Hz, top Snapdragon and pen that would go inside like the S ultra! Would sell my S6 and S9 for that! 😅
Great Job, I’m mostly a Apple user, But I got a S24 Ultra to try out to see if I wanted to switch and thinking of getting the Tab S9 to checkout, I was waiting for a S10 (11 inch) but they didnt make one, So wanted to know if it was still worth getting the Tab S9. Thanks Ivan for all your reviews.
I recently purchased Tab S8. Still a powerful tablet with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip. It still got the Galaxy AI updates I can use the Dex which convert the tablet into a mini laptop. Friends asked why I choose Samsung over other brand, simply because of Dex and the OneUI
I'm close to pulling the trigger on the S9. You might have just convinced me. Eyeing those deals. I'm a fan of smaller rather than larger tablets. Which is why I picked up an iPad Mini 2021. Despite not really being an Apple guy. Sometimes less is more eh? An S9 would pair nicely as a companion with my S24+.
got s9 used but no regret as in buy this tablet to read comic..which is way to big & heavy...hehehe... but still can be use for productivity, so yess no regret
Watching this great video on my Tab S9. I sold my iPad last week. Why? I seldom used it, no longer liked the Apple Pencil feel on the display, and downsizing.
I wouldnt say its the only choice of 'small' . The redmagic nova and the legion y700 series. Im considering picking one up for some more hand held gaming. And this is coming from someone with a tab s8 ultra
Asking Ivan is the wrong approach. You should really be asking yourself what meets your needs. I bought the S10+ but feel now its size is uncomfortable for me and an S9 would be better for my needs. But if you can make use of the bigger screen and don't mind the size (and increased weight), you might find the S10+ is better for you. Different people have different priorities - that's why Samsung and Apple manufacture several different sizes. Look at the specifications of both your options and watch a few videos comparing the differences between the S9 and S9+ (the S10+ is almost identical to the S10+). Then you will be in the best position to make your choice - but I did all that and now think I made the wrong choice!
@nikkonch haha I appreciate your reply. I have been watching good content about all the Tab S9 and S10 line up and still haven't been able to make a decision. Here in Brazil they send the S9 (minus the fe) and s10+ with a cover and keyboard, which is a great deal. I guess my biggest concern is about the infamous processor that comes with the S10 not being as good as the Snapdragon Gen 2 present in the S9. I'll be using the Tab especially for my post grad studies and online meetings when I'm traveling. I love the portable size of the S9 but maybe, for my case, size do matter.
@@roginga Yes, the free keyboard was a factor in my choice of the S10+ - but after 24 hours I detached the keyboard and bought a cheap but much lighter cover for the tablet. The keyboard is heavy - 500g I think to add to the 570g of the S10+! Since I have keyboard devices at home, and unlike you I don't travel much with a tablet, the keyboard is not particularly useful for me. But your needs are different. Of course, ideally you would compare handling both of them in a store, but that is often easier said than done. Good luck with your choice!
Depends on your needs really; the size difference is very noticeable - so If you want a large tablet, or you don't care for size and money isn't an issue, the S10+ is the way to go. Otherwise, tab s9.
Are people just assuming that there won't be an S10 or have Samsung actually stated that? I'm just thinking of how Apple have linked the updates of their 2024 Air and Pro but the new "basic" model is coming in 2025 - I think? Are Samsung going down the same path and staggering their updates? Or maybe Samsung will skip a generation and come back in with an S11? Maybe they think on a cost basis they can't do much to improve the S9 yet, but in another year they might be able to. And, of course, Apple haven't updated their "basic" iPad model since 2022, so if you regard the S9 as the direct competition, there is no obvious performance gap between the S9 and the 2022 iPad that Samsung need to catch up on - yet. Incidentally, I bought the S10+, up from an S6Lite, and I think I should have gone for the S9 on the basis of size, weight and comfort - for my particular needs. Bigger isn't always better!
Folks should head to giztop for a Lenovo legion y700. 8.8" plus a snapdragon 8 gen 3. Basically the cooler version of the Galaxy tab S9 and much smaller

Yes indeed!! That's the perfect for most people for sure.
I appreciate you watching fam!

Is it going to be $700. Otherwise, it's so stupid to cancel the base version of tab s for a device would cost around $3000
Faaaacts! I didn't even make that link!
That could very well be - great insights!
I can't wait either!!

Nice!!!
i wish they would have launched not only 11" 10 series, but also an ~8" one... 😔
Just get the red magic one
Just get a samsung phone 😂
@butter5144 i have one, aspect ratio matter...
They have 8" tablet, the downside is their low end chipset and small rom 😅

Got this for 250 bucks after trading in my Tab S7. Sweet upgrade!
Nice!!!
That was a dumb move by Samsung to not bring out a Tab S10 11inch
For some reasons samsung hate small tablet and for some reasons consumers hate large tablets
😆
Nice video keep up the great work Ivan Kam

how did you get the keyboard cover for free

It would pair so nicely with that awesome phone!! Go for it!
@IvanKam11 thanks I couldn't hold out any longer so I ordered one. 😀
It's great. I don't know why they dropped it. Perhaps it's the same reason they don't make an iPad Mini competitor. They are pushing foldables.
got s9 used but no regret as in buy this tablet to read comic..which is way to big & heavy...hehehe... but still can be use for productivity, so yess no regret
Great reviewer. I saw your water submerge video
Thanks for always watching!
I ordered one because it was a deal too good to pass up at £400, but I’m not sure if I will keep that, or my m2 iPad Air.
Watching this great video on my Tab S9. I sold my iPad last week. Why? I seldom used it, no longer liked the Apple Pencil feel on the display, and downsizing.
🔥🔥🔥
It's an amazing tablet! Great performance, it's sleek and durable and the screen looks really good.
Can I ask what game is that at the 6:51 mark?
I wouldnt say its the only choice of 'small' . The redmagic nova and the legion y700 series. Im considering picking one up for some more hand held gaming. And this is coming from someone with a tab s8 ultra
Bought it in feb after watching many vids including yours, completely replaced my old phone which i just use for calls now....
Ivan, amazing content, once again. For almost the same price, would u get the S9 or s10+? Thank you!

Samsung doesn't live to catch up Apple you know...
They've their own goals.
Very interesting take! You never know with these companies. Maybe they will bring the small one back.
Just closed on the ultra version a couple days ago and I dying for it to be delivered 😂
🔥🔥🔥🔥👊🏾
I think Samsung's turning the FE into the smaller tablet? Or should I change the wording the smaller tablet into the FE?
