Exactly. Especially when you travel with a child it is quite practical. I rented it last weekend and liked a lot. But it lacks of slow motion in 4K. Maybe I will take slow mo videos with my iPhone and gimbal only. I have Rode wireless go already but too bad it is not easy to mount it to that. Sky has a workaround but no I am not gonna do it and depend on its internal mic probably.
Main I think this is my biggest problem when vlogging and so I procrastinate more but buying the DJI pocket 2 gave me so much more confidence. I Love it.

Good job! I have the same set up as you (Pocket 2, A7 III) and was looking to use this for some vlogging and B-roll. I agree about the skin tone. I've had better luck using the D-Cine color profile and color grading in post. Congrats on the channel growth. From 50 subs a year ago to 1,780 sub a year later...you're doing everything right. You're a natural for UA-cam. Keep up the great work and the great content.

I don't usually have a problem with filming in public but the Pocket 2 does make it easier to be discreet & I've got some nice little accessories to add creativity & functionality which I've done a video on.. Try with the D-cinelike profile. It's more flat (you get more dynamic range) and less digital sharpening going on. Then simply colour grade it a bit and I found it looks way better. Would be awesome to see it stacked up against your Sony btw. Curious to see how big (or actually - small the difference will be) I tested it against my Canon 250D (SL3 in US) and the dynamic range is actually better on the Pocket 2. :D Colour wise, its also not too far off from the Canon. Good job on the video mate. Keep it up !

I get stuck on the editing portion (I have no problems rocking in front of a Camera 😂). it’s always going to feel like you’re not sure how you look but you are being yourself that is the most important factor to get across. Your at home vibe is natural that will bleed over outside over each take... remember 90% of the people you worry about while vlogging... really wish they could be you at that moment. It’s that cool factor 😎

I am looking at a lavalier to use with the wireless mic. The dji mic is kind of big and noticeable but does have the option to use an external mic.

Well I didn’t really color crazy this Footage.. but now I’m starting to. For me it’s been easier to color grade the Sony footage and then just do a “match color” on the pocket footage.. :) only lens I used here was the pgytech lens :)
@@ItzSKYVlogsI have the combo creator set and I am still wondering if there's any crucial difference between the wifi mic and the internal ones. Also, could you make a video about the audio / sound edit that you are doing on your vids, I like how they sound as vocals and background when you're out.
I just found out that if you don't have a compatable phone, the APP won't work and DJI will LOCK the camera after 5 Uses. I also found out that if you DO have a compatable phone, DJI wants your location switched on so they can see where you are. I also found out that you have to agree to a 50 page policy in order to register the Pocket 2 and use it. Most people don't care cause they have new phones and don't understand privacy very well but no good for the few of us that don't want to install a random 3rd party app and give it all sorts of permissions..... no deal. I'll just get a gimble, even though my phone is 4 years old, the camera is still good, even 4k. Anyway, can't wait for more videos, maybe teach us a little about how to take amazing stock footage. MONEY MOVES!!!
Since you’re holding a camera out, if people look at you I think it’s to see if you’re taking a photo of them. With that in mind, you’d be better off (more invisible) talking to the camera which shows everyone around you’re taking photos/video of yourself and not them. At least that’s how it would be in the city I’m from in the US, other areas of the world are different of course.

Because some cameras are made to record max up to 4GB per file. Side note - I also noticed in most case scenarios, I can't transfer files larger than 4GB from my laptop to sd cards and external hard drives. I think all this is connected somehow.

I have problems with the phone. Keeping the person on the thirds. Face tracking seem to frame the interviewee in the center of the frame.

Oh that’s normal. Mine does the same. Same as gopros and other small cameras.. the full frame camera don’t do it.. but all small cameras does.
Because some cameras are made to record max up to 4GB per file. Side note - I also noticed in most case scenarios, I can't transfer files larger than 4GB from my laptop to sd cards and external hard drives. I think all this is connected somehow.
@@MikeLetting yea i think it has to do with the format of the card for not being able to transfer larger files.. :)
