- This is a complete features and settings guide for the DJI Pocket 2 - In this video we cover the location of every feature and setting within the inbuilt display menu on the Pocket 2 as well as the DJI Mimo App.
We'll cover everything from High Quality video mode 4K60P HDR on the Pocket 2 and panorama modes to the different gimbal modes, timelapses and more.

*A FIRST CLASS TUTORIAL. CLEAR AND CONCISE! TOP STUFF CHRIS*
Excellent canter through the settings. A couple of additions -
The button to the right of the joystick, if held down for a moment, locks the gimbal continuously. To release the lock, press that button, or the function button momentarily. The function button, if held down, locks the gimbal just while it is held down, and unlocks when you release it. So you've got two options there depending on which button you use, continuous or temporary full lock.
There's a sliding control on the right side of the screen. This enables tilt adjustment while the joystick is set to zoom, or zoom adjustment when the joystick is set to tilt.
Press and hold the record button during a take to pause - when you recommence recording, you continue with the same file instead of creating a new one.

Needle in the haystack - Chris, I'm an old crusty that decided to go for videography in lockdown from a neophyte perspective. It's been fun, and has woken up parts of my brain I didn't know existed! Thank you for making this video. You just helped me allot. I learned the "Function button for startup" which is going to be HUGE for me, plus many other basic operations that will help me make better video's. ( No more triple tap to get the gimbal face "away from me" on startup)

Absolutely brilliant in depth video on the multitude of functions for this camera which I’ve just purchased & have found it complicated, this video helped but I have to say that for the majority of users that they don’t really need all these features, it could have been simpler, that’s just my opinion.😊
Mine went onto the setting where you only get 30 seconds and stop recording one day and another day it went into white mode grrr . still learning this explains a lot thankyou.

Chris, you do excellent work in your presentations! Not I only are they helpful and informative but also succinct and clear. So many that inject their superficial personality traits (trying to be comical) that ultimately detracts the serious listener. My wife and I are taking a 10 day train tour of America this coming fall. I would like to attach a camera on the train window via a suction cup. I've looked at the DJI Pocket 2 as well as action cameras such as the Insta360 ONE R - 1" lens. Your reviews were excellent. I have eliminated the DJI Pocket 2 due to the heating issues using 4K 60 as well unavailability back up batteries. I would very much be interested in your choice of cameras. My intentions are to attach the camera to the train window and let it roll.

on the dji I couldn't see the STORY or HDRvideo options, but Story is there when connect to the phone.. also LiveStream is there.
do i need to update the dji.. if so, how do you do that??

Very well done no bull straight into how it works.
Cool I didn’t know how too do settings from the touch screen!! Helpful cause my android drains the pocket 2 and right in the middle of a Timelapse. At least I got a lot recorded!! But now that I know what shot I want I’ll just set it up sans android.

best tutorial on the camera.. Got one last night. I have been playing around with it. I struggle with the small screen and no sound when I playback the videos. I am in real estate and wanted to use it for talking head youtube and some home video walk through. I think my phone may be easier to use since I can review and hear the video before I leave the area. I think the out put quality is great.
It seems to get really hot when charging and connecting to computer. I would love a simple video of your recommendation of the common settings for doing a vlog vs a talking head at the desk.

I just bought one of these and to use it you must first download the app (would not download) and then connect to your phone (would not connect)

Hi I have just purchased DJI pocket 2 , i was hoping i might be able to use it at indoor concerts because of the 8X zoom .is it only available in photo or video , i can only find 4X on both . Any ideas or tutorials Thanks Steve

I never thought dji pocket has this much settings
1:40....The button next to the stick will lock and unlock the gimbal with a separate pushes.... The function button will lock the gimbal and unlock when you release the button.
