Yeah to get that non sticky pearls, it takes a lot of work ...really a lot of work. You need to wash the sabudana atleast 15 times in a bowl..like how you wash the rice once or twice. In sabudana you need to remove all the powdered substance completely which remains in the bowl everytime you wash it...once you see sabudana is immersed and the water is clean that's when you should stop washing. After that you need to soak it overnight with no water in it. Then you get the result which you saw it in the video here.
Thank you, this is a nice recipe, and the tapioca stayed separate and not sticky or slimy at all. You do need a lot of flavors to keep it interesting, so I added extra lemon juice and used cucumber and onion added after cooking. I didn’t add any pepper because I ran out. It’s good warm or room temperature I think.
Okay well, idk why potatoes are used too then Its like eating starch with starch. Id rather have capsicum. Perfect breakfast if you want to sleep 30 mins later.
@@anuarun1705 yes i know, but what does authentic mean? That you see everyone else do it? I doubt adding potatoes has much to do with authenticity, and more that nothing else really seems to suit sabudana. Either way, i feel the same about poha. I dont see how adding potatoes makes it better either, authentic or not.

Hello ma'am.
How many hours should we soak the sabudana??

Am sorry, but capsicum is a big no no! Some recipes are best kept as they are, the authenticity must stay!

Why so ??
Hing in sabudana??? That's news to me. For years have been making non-sticky khichdi. As far as the stickyness goes a lot depends on the sago quality.
Capsicum 😢????
Omit the capsicum. Otherwise good
