The signs at 2:30 , 3:13 , 3:35 & 4:23 show that Kowloon station of the Airport Express is at exit Ⓜ️, so just find exit M will do. What Ken said at 5:22 is right.
Hong Kong Airport is fantastic, I love it & love Hong Kong in general, I was there a month ago when I was travelling through Asia & also in July, hope you have a great Christmas in Germany with your family :)
I watched your whole hong kong series a while ago and im pleased to see u return to hong kong again even if its just to stay at airport hotel for a day, its nice to see foreigner experience my home city 😊
Welcome to Hong Kong again. 12:12 Yes, we sort of celebrate Christmas here and Dec 25 & 26 are public holidays in Hong Kong. We have many amazing Christmas decorations throughout the city. 😊
The all-day breakfast is quite expensive, I would say. There are actually more options on the departure floor before immigration/security than in the arrival hall, I believe. At the very least, there are some fast-food options in that area, like MX or McDonald's, which can offer a meal for less than 100 HKD
I live in hong kong and took the high speed rail from hk. For starters, you need to exit the hi speed station and look for signs going to ICC (International Commerce Center tallest building in HK) The airport express line is station runs parallel with Tung Chung line (orange line) and its the bottom floor of that building
For the record, the Airport Express is twice as fast as a taxi and half the price. Traffic to the airport isn't bad as it's all 6-lane highways, but nothing beats the efficiency of the train.
Aha!just a bit of confusion again upon your arrival in HK.I would say HK has the most efficient service industry in the world having travelled there on many occasions.👍The night skyline of HK is just breathtaking. The hotel room is definitely considered large by HK standard.Looking forward to your next travel destination and a Merry Christmas to you Ken and all your loved ones.Cheers!💕🇲🇾
The Airport Express was written with the Exit M on it, you even recorded it many times lol. So it means you need to follow Exit M no matter what. 99.99% of the people who visited HK, says the public transport it’s the best for being very efficient. Easy to navigated and many connections, you just need to follow the SIGNS. Most of the subways or metro all over the world has these systems, which has multiple exits and which connects it.
Hong Kong famously changing all the time because more building more different way to go….to save time, you find staff as soon as you arrive and ask how to go
14:31 Many travelers to Europe and the United States will choose to take a Cathay Pacific flight from Guangzhou to Hong Kong and then to their final destination because it is cheaper than a direct flight from Hong Kong or Guangzhou.
Thank you for coming Hong Kong again. This is “one land two check “ mode which are specifically immigration and customs clearance mode between Hong Kong and mainland China,Which only apply on High speed rail West Kowloon Station port and Shenzhen Bay Port only
Local people do not use Airport Express to the airport. Instead they use the MRT Tung Chung Line to Tung Chung station and then get a S1 bus to the airport. The total fare is about HK$30 instead of $105. It takes about 20 minutes more time. due to the S1 bus ride.
Good, informative vlog, Ken! Hong Kong is considered one of the most expensive cities in the world! The Airport Express' quick fast ride, and worth the money! The Regal Airport Hotel for $150 USD wasn't a bad price, especially in Terminal 1 location. Also, breakfast was expensive! Frohe Weihnachten to you, and get some rest, Ciao Ken
15:30 Thought you'd pick the Tai Hing restaurant right next to u. They're famous for their Cha Siu barbacued pork😂 Btw, the Airport Express was operating since 1998 and the system is a bit old, but still get the job done.
Awesome Ken, i follow you on Tik Tok and i found you here, i assumed i was a subscriber of yours but i wasn't. I now am, I love your content and it inspires me as a creator too. You were supposed to follow the "M" sign which incorporates the ELEMENTS mall, Kowloon Station, and the Airport Express. BTW my HK apartment is above ELEMENTS.
another option for you is to take the Novotel close to the airport , they have shuttle bus to airport .every 20 minutes and Novotel is above MTR station . MTR is far cheaper then Airport express is. I payed 0n 16th December 1030 HKD . So cheaper option .
In the video they asked you to move to a different location as they saw you with a luggage and prior to this holiday, we have had many tourist visitors from all over that have used the escalators with luggage that ended up in accidents because they did not place their luggage on the escalator properly and hence told you to use the lifts instead. Merry Christmas Ken!!
Haha. As a local who on-and-off take high speed train, I never treat Kowloon station (for airport express) and West Kowloon Hi-speed train Terminus as a single place. The distance is damn long especially for 1st time visitors. You need to pass a big (though it's nice) shopping mall...
Such an adventure for directions to a destination. There are too many exits. It can be very confusing. The lift sign is unable to contain all of the info. Looking at the sign, it seems you have to go to Exit M for the airport express. The lift sign shows exit M is at B1
It would be great if you could watch an Asian Cup qualifier in Hong Kong in 2025 like you watched the World Cup qualifier in Indonesia. The atmosphere of watching the Hong Kong football team in Hong Kong is great and can bring you unforgettable memories!
00:29 because you had a heavy roller luggage they wanted you to take the elevators instead. Rule came into effect due to some tumbling suitcases on escalator accidents in the past.
it is safety concern for your heavy luggage may bring hazrd for other passengers using escaltor, so the station staff right there have responsibilty to route you to use the elevator instead
I also stayed in this hotel, but managed to pay £115 as I was only staying for the evening before checking out at 4am for my flight the following day. You pay for the convenience really, but the restaurant on the right of the one you ate at has slightly better Chinese options like soup noodles and fried rice, price wise - not too dissimilar to prices you would find in a takeout.
Happy new year ,Ken , always like your video, you must be tired after a non stop trip to h k , it is normal, a bit more time to re orientate, to get the bearing,
i wanna ask they stamp on passport or not because i search they said they stop stamp passport since 2013 because im from morocco and live here in china and want to go there
Virtually following u around looking for the airport express. Yeah, the skyline is magnificent. Beautiful n massive airport. Nice room but u got a hard bed at 150 dollars.
As a Hong Konger, I would say that things in or around the airport are quite overpriced.😂 It is better and way cheaper to stay in Kowloon area where food are way affordable and delicious. It is fine to stay around the airport if you really need that convenience.
why you can't see the "M" exit to airport Express , is very clear kowloon station / Element / Airport express / Tung Chung line / Disneyland line is same area on the signage😅
I wish you youtubers would get your facts right. a taxi 30 to 40 mins to the airport....try 20 mins. the airport express is a long walk from the station you arrived at, a taxi would have got you there so much quicker. Also, HK has one of the best transport system in the world.
Oh gosh, that's a very nice train station but sad to see you going around to find the Airport Express. Well, paying $150 for an Airport hotel is worth it as it's more convenient. Haha...having a breakfast meal at 8pm 😅 but it looks yum yum. Interesting sharing and thank you very much for this informative vlog, Ken.
Hi Ken! I know it might be quite confusing when you were trying to find the Airport Express, but one of the easiest mays is look back at the recording and see where the airport express sign was located, and next to it it says M exit which basically says which exit that is at, and also M exit is elements mall. You can follow the M exit sign which is located throughout the high speed rail station. Elements mall has the station Kowloon which is a separate station from which the high speed rail from China so that's why you had to walk for a while. I know it's confusing for the first time but hopefully in future cases you can navigate easily throughout the train stations.
You should have followed the sign for "Kowloon Station", where the Airport Express is, instead for looking at the "Airport Express" sign. The M next to the sign denotes Exit M. So you should find Exit M to go towards Kowloon Station.
Yes but He didn't have the good fortune of someone to tell him this. why doesn't it say Kowloon station/airport express. The reason for signage is to help and inform not to hinder. It's not just HK this happens, it happens in my country as well. 👍
That may not be easily noticed by visitors.😆 I think if the path West Kowloon Station to Airport Express (Kowloon Station) is encouraged, the signs should be made even more straightforward and prominent on top of the A/B/C exit system.
why you don't check Google Maps? There are more instructions in English in Hong Kong than in mainland China, and the staff at the first escalator tells you to take lift with your suitcase. He was holding an English sign, why did you say you didn't understand? Your videos always show the good side of mainland China, but in this video you keep complaining about Hong Kong. Why?

You can take a fast boat from Shenzhen to Hong Kong Airport directly and it will only take 30mins

You follow the exit "M" to MTR Kowloon Station, at Kowloon Station you can take the airport express.
15:40 the departure level has other food places to eat. You just have to take one level up via the escalator.
Guter Kurs.Klasse Video❤
If you are not in a hurry, they have free shuttle buses to the airport.

I must echo your description on the clarity of the sign board in Hong Kong. It was a bit messier than in Chinese mainland
