Hi Matt..I like your staff you teach me a lot... thanks for the consistency...now i have a question... A page ranking on the first page just linked back to my article ranking with the same keyword that got them number one. Is that something to celebrate about or get scared? What do you think about that?
Duplicate content is legal in local SEO, but up to a point. If you have many pages with the same or close enough (50%) content, certain pages will be indexed and not show on SERP or be crawled but not indexed at all. Recently I've had multiple clients that we built sites this way for them and many of their pages never show up or don't stick in the serp. However, after rephraseing enough of the content on each page - they quickly show up. Some still fall in and out of the SERP index but 80% or more stay up permanently. This won't affect you if you have 10 pages, but if you build location pages for large areas like LA, London, etc. you must use different content for the majority of your pages.
_Definitely_ keep doing that clip near the top of the video where you explain who you are. I had no idea you started all those companies, that you've been doing this for so long, or that you're a public speaker on the subject! I immediately perked up and thought "Oh, this IS the guy to listen to!" Oh, P.S. -- I saw those Attack on Titan action figures up there! (Before you made the explicit reference at 9:08 lol)
2 Additional things I thought of Matt that would be helpful is intentionally expanding your "about" page and "author" bio info (i.e. doubling down on EEAT) and then also velocity of publishing content. With all these AI videos with people publishing 1000 posts in an hour (only a slight exaggeration) to see if there is any correlation between posting a massive amount in a short time period and either penalty / deindexation / etc. Just a thought :)
google will wotk out what time frame does a good researched article take? 2 a day ? so 10 a week for a small business, 10 a day for a larger company. etc?. i randonise my creation dates m8 :)
Thanks, Matt. It always surprises me with your awesome videos. I have been a student of your courses for a very long time. The ways you explain are really easy to understand PRO Max Ultra. After watching your videos, seeing other mentors' videos gets boring. Trust me, I literally fell asleep in many live webinars. 😬 Thanks again.
8:46 Great content, i found the idea behind article length interesting although i'm not sure how to be apply it; there is definitely a clear difference between a 500 word article and a 2000 word article. But is there really a ranking difference between 1500 word article and a 2000 word article?
Not only in local seo, Copy Content legal in Global SEO too, What about App store and Playstore... they have same content for each and every app they have on their store, still ranking for numerous apps with millions of organic traffic.
@@MattDiggity I only saw the stuff about the authority links. But external links referencing your site done by outreach.I would imagine that's going to fit into A most likely. I'm one of your students Matt xD. I need to learn about your setup. I'm so camera shy I've been mostly faceless on my channel lol.
Hi Matt. Love your channel man! I was wondering why many SEO influencers don't acknowledge that backlinks are literally the only thing that really matters to rank on Google? Seems to be you can be as much as a topical authority as you want, do all the keyword work you want, but at the end of the day if you're straight up not purchasing backlinks you're gunna have bad time. Am I wrong?
Hi Matt, I have question please and need your thoughts : if i want to start a new blog, which better to use :New domain OR Expired domain?? and i hope you say you prefer A or B 😅 because i found it hard to decide which should i choose. if i choose Expired , i have a old domain (10Years) with low backlinks and one very good backlink but i didn't like the name that much, and if i choose New Domain, so this way i can choose the name and also will be a clean history.
A request...can you go a bit slow, just a bit. Newbies llike myself need to ponder on things that are 'breaking news' to us. As usual that content is enlightening. Thank you for all the effort you put in.
Hi Matt, i don't agree with the "showing proof" as a D rank factor. In fact, it's the A tier ranking factor! Recently after two product review updates, among all amazon affiliate websites in india (almost 40-50) just a few survived the impact. They didn't have good DA or boasts of Referring domains, but they got a good boost instead, and guess what? They were the only showing proof like pics and videos of the products they test, also they write tooo small articles with just 2-3 products but still beat others having 10-15 products listed! We further carried the same strategy of showing proof AND WE GOT PRETTY GOOD RESULTS NOT GONNA LIE!
Google robots have no way to check the contents of your images to see if they're showing the actual product tested by you personally. Must be other ranking factors, maybe people bounce because of dishonest reviews or smth.
Are you saying that you have to match the search intent based on front end design? Or are you simply saying that from a content perspective, it should be similar in nature. If the latter, when trying to match e-com using non-e-com how would you approach this? Using product schema on an image that cannot actually be purchased? TIA!
Question, at 2:58 you say add the answer to the search query... "temperature of beer (is) 60 °..." , and then you said if there are other units, answer those too. Meaning? Other queries or questions etc? Is that what a unit is...😅
"degrees fahrenheit" was the unit of temperature, so he said be sure to include the unit. Like if you're answering "how long is a marathon" you would want to write "A marathon is 26 miles"

My website hit page one as soon as I hit the like button. Thanks Matt!
No bullsh*t, 100% research-driven facts.
Awesome video Matt! Loved the editing format, too :)
Well done Matt. I like that you put data behind the answers vs just thinking and doing what Google recommends.

No mention of external and internal backlinks. Is this for on page factors only?
Yes. I said that pretty early in the video.
MORE TIER LISTS.
What about backlinks and tech Audit?
Looks like you didn't watch the intro.
So , what about backlinks?
And how about backlinks? Does it rank at S?
Hi Matt, what are your thoughts on SE Ranking's new content editor compared to SEO Surfer content editor?
Nothing about backlinks?
I guess it’s only about on-page SEO
High five for watching the video.

Always thought it could be tied to wording of the copy rather than images themselves.
