Asalam alikoum, I’ve never felt so compelled to leave a comment on any video but I feel I have to on this. This is one of the most amazing interviews I have ever listened to where I truly felt validated as a Muslim mother. Abirs advice and tips are practical in such a supportive and humble way MashAllah. JazakAllah khair for this episode. May Allah SWT allow us all to experience the beauty of the Quran in our lives
This is so beautiful. I had started reading Qur'an over a year ago, consistently. I decided to read from cover to cover and when I finish to start again. The purpose is to always read. But I've been taking my time. I have three young children, one is still a baby. So I find the time in between, or while nursing, to read and think over the verses. This podcast, really makes me feel as though I am on the right track, especially because I decided I would not rush myself even during the month of Ramadhan. I want understanding and to improve myself, and that takes time. Literally. Once I could only read about two verses and then I was thinking about them and that took half and hour.
I really didn't understand the intro. If there is a 'title' that should be in service to people it's the doctor/physician. Doctor of medicine isn't a doctor in philosophy or pop singer. It's healing people by teaching them how to heal themselves. You got trapped in your false modesty. Imagine being a doctor whose family praises but their patients curse. Do you even know what you were talking about?!
Abir is truly an inspiration to all. I've had the honor of sitting with her multiple times and i always leave in awe reflecting on her strength and passions 🙏🏻 wishing her all the best in this life and the hereafter.
Love this. I started reading 1-2 pages a day if I can and to understand I read Arabic then English translation. It’s been so helpful but this has been so beautiful because I never distinguished the difference between reflecting and explanation. Tadabor and Tafseer. Thank you for sharing your journey!
~40 minutes, I felt that. This whole discussion has been amazing but I am a new mother next month inshaAllah and have been experiencing these themes. Jazakallah khairan ❤
salam aleykum. This is incredible! truly! thank you sister Abir for your insightful and very clear conversation with brother Jaafar. It's also very helpful that this conversation is moderated by our brother and inshallah more brothers take note of these topics as it's not solely for women. May Allah swt bless you both. ameen
Salam Jafar, I could watch Joe Rogan or some other podcast, but here I am during the month of Ramadhan listening to Sister Abir. Thank you for bringing these gems on your podcast. It's refreshing! You bring great members of the community, without the gossip, drama, and the nasty fitna that is infested in the community. God bless and reward the both of you.
Joe Rogan is trash. He has no morals or respect for women. He objectifies them and therefore is values and actions are the opposite of Islamic teachings. Obviously, he's not muslim. Taking world views from someone who has no morality is just going to brainwash you into thinking like him. The ahlulbayt have taught us that whatever we consume (hear, eat, watch, etc) affects our heart/spirituality.
Truly one of the best podcast I've heard, from start to finish everything Sister Abir said was a true inspiration and motivation for us to connect to Allah (swt) and the holy Quran. Thank you for this amazing podcast.
Don't you see dear fellow human being how ironic it is to tell a muslim, who usually reads and studies the Quran, that he should seek the advice of non-muslims to find out the truth of Quran?
Salam. I started my hijab back Alhumdulliah. This podcast really did start my journey back. Quick question, can you please repeat which Quran is the best one translated? She mentioned
@@podnotfromhere inshallah and your podcast is actually so wonderful and knowledgeable I really enjoyed while watching the episode may allah bless you and your podcast efforts 🥰

As an avid Joe Rogan listener myself, this comment means a lot. I appreciate it! Inshallah just the beginning.

I really loved this interview so thank you very much! I treasure being able to get to know Abir Safa! She totally changed my approach to the Quran.
Quran- the breath of life daily
Not spreading hate but please check ex Ahmed Muslim as he educates Muslims about the Quran. I pray the truth is revealed to you.

Apologies on that. Ran into a mic issue during recording this episode.
